When it comes to location, it doesn’t get better than this. Step outside and ski directly from the building to the Peak 9 lifts, then at the end of the day, glide back home on the slopes. In summer, world-class hiking and biking trails begin practically at your doorstep. And when you’re ready to explore town, Breckenridge’s historic Main Street—with its shops, dining, breweries, and year-round events—is just a short walk away. You’ll truly have the best of both the mountain and downtown at your fingertips.

The Trails End complex itself has recently undergone a property-wide remodel, scheduled to be completed in December 2025, that elevates the entire experience. The lobby has been beautifully updated, the hot tub has been expanded into a large outdoor space with a covered roof, and the ski storage area has been redesigned to accommodate more gear for guests. These thoughtful upgrades ensure that Trails End remains one of Breckenridge’s most desirable ski-in/ski-out destinations.

Inside the condo, you’ll find a warm and comfortable space designed for both relaxation and gathering. Amazing property!! Step out the back door and ski down to the lift. Heated pool and hot tubs are great!! Walking distance to everything in downtown Breck!! Highly recommend this property!

Great Location

This condo is a nice size and a great location for skiing! It has great views of the mountain from the living / dining space. The cabinets and fixtures are dated and the carpet is a bit wrinkled but the unit is very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic with access to the lift and close to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Good ski-in/ski out location for small group

This was a last minute booking, but was able to find this with a good location (true ski-in/ski-out, nearby rental stores, very short walk to the town). Location near Quicksilver was good for our family dynamic - start on greens to refresh my youngest's confidence, easy access to blues later in the day as well as decent access to the rest of the mount, and then when I drop my youngest off when she's tired later, quick access back up to get a few black runs off of Falcon superchair. The condo itself was nice with the expected/acceptable amenities. My only complaint is that the outdoor hot tub capacity was small given the number of building occupants, and was always full as a result.

Good communication - hiccup with the backdoor but overall good!

Had an issue with the backdoor not letting us in from the ski slopes. They were responsive - although it took some pushing for them to admit there was an issue with the back door by the hot tubs not letting us in with our key fobs. Great location, perfectly fine for a ski trip if you're not expecting luxury!

Summit Mountain Rentals, excellent; Location, excellent; Condo Complex Amenities, good (hot tubs got crowded, but we enjoyed the company, others may not); Unit 507, outdated and needs some updating may be an understatement, but managed our expectations so we were not surprised when we arrived. The comments about the condition of the unit are true and it needs some serious updating and attention, so if luxury is what you are looking for this is not the place, however, it fit our needs perfectly and we were comfortable (Mom & Dad, plus 4 college kids). We will keep this unit on our list every time we visit Breck.

Upgrade in size without an extra charge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th time this year to rent at Trails End with Summit Rentals. We booked our normal small 1 bedroom condo but on our way to Breckenridge Summit called and gave us a 2 bedroom at no additional cost. Because the original condo we had booked had an issue with the gas fireplace. A fireplace is important for a ski trip. Room 507 was must larger and it was nice to have the extra room. The Microwave was broke but they had it replaced within 2 hours. Overall the condo was clean & comfortable. The thermostat was broken and you could not adjust the temp plus the fan on the fireplace didn't work. In turn the room was always a little chilly. There were lots of blankets so I kept bundled up while hanging out in the room. Trails End is an older condo and most of the 3 different rooms we have stayed in all need remodeling. But the location is great for ski in & out. Outdoor hot tub is great and the rooms are always very clean. The staff at Summit are very professional and take excellent care of every detail of our trip accommodations. We will be back soon!

This condo has a great location but everything needs to be updated. There is Not enough seating area in the living room for everyone to sit comfortably. The couches there are very uncomfortable. The bedrooms have NO TVs for kids or other person to go watch a different show. The pans in the kitchen were shredded really couldn't or didn't want to use them. They are scratched up to the point of unhealthy to use really. Best thing is the location

Excellent Location and Nice Unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Trails End 507 ski-in/walk 50 yards to ski out to Quicksilver lift. Easy walk to town for restaurants and shopping. Stayed in Trails End last year and loved the location. Condo had lots of towels, TP, dishwasher tabs and soap, paper towels, garbage bags, coffee filters. Hotel size starter of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and 2 small bars of soap in both baths. I was told no condiments, but found oil, salt/pepper and a few other spices and items on one shelf in the kitchen, which was nice. No foil, plastic wrap, etc. Reported the toaster not working on day 1 and never did get a replacement by day 5, so used the broiler to toast bread. I prefer a dish cloth to a sponge, so used a bathroom face cloth for dishes. Also, the drain plug for the kitchen was missing. Had to fill bowls/kettles to hand wash some dishes and wipe up. Inside hot tub not working. Outside hot tub (fits 8-10 people) not working our last day there. All in all a good experience. Would rent again.

Reviewer Comments: The Trails End location is ideal. 30 steps from the door gets you to a gentle slope where you can ski down to the Quicksilver lift. The ski storage area in the lobby is very convenient. Plenty of on site parking. The indoor hot tub was closed the first day. We went in only once, as the it was always crowded at the end of our day.We did not use the outdoor hot tub because it was a funky green color and smelled like fish. The sauna was not working at all during our stay. The condo itself was just barely okay. The closets were filled with a lot of the owner's junk. The carpeting is rippled, matted and stained. Tacks were exposed where it was pulling away from the threshold. The kitchen is very old. The cabinets are stained, the floor is cruddy and the drawers don't slide or align well. The appliances are very basic and old but functional. Sparsely stocked kitchen.The toilets were running when we arrived and there was a leak. The exhaust fan in the main bedroom gave out after the first day and was so old and rusted out that it couldn't be repaired while we were there. The bedroom windows were really drafty and so thin that the outside noise was not buffered at all.Overall, the decor was very dated and unattractive. The TV was small and the gas fireplace barely gave any heat.The light fixture above the dining table had to be plugged into an outlet to light it up. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure.We called the management company twice needing the toilets, exhaust fans and exposed carpet tacks to be repaired. They were very polite and helpful. The repair guys responded quickly and fixed everything but the fan.I would recommend this property based on its location. Know that you will be staying in a condo that is the equivalent of a budget motel and then you can decide if it is worth the price for you. We did not find it a good value for the price. We will find another u

Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. My only complaint would be the heat. It wouldn't turn off and we ended up having to open the patio door and both windows at night to help offset the sweltering heat. It did make drying out any wet ski gear much easier ha. The ski in is possible but a snowboarder will likely have to walk unless they get up a ton of speed to make it to the actual walk in spot. Overall though, we had a great time. The hosts were incredibly helpful and very polite. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Unbeatable location for the price

Not well Kept

This place needs some TLC!! It is in a very sad state! We reached out to the owners with no response. The property manager tried but it needs so much work! Started with blanket being filthy, dishes had not dried and had been put away a wet, easy fix just wipe down as you go. Inside the dishwasher there was bits of shredded cheese so when I ran the dishwasher the dishes were covered in this. Yuck! The fridge did not work so an small dorm style fridge was brought it. After reading reviews that was a a common theme. We had to throw some food away, never once were we told sorry and no one even offered to reimburse for food even though this happens frequently! The back doors were broken to the deck.. awesome with little kids, and there were rusty nails sticking out again something you want little kids near! Then we got locked out because one key did not work, come on be better than that! Inside just needs some Tlc!!! Replace and fix broken items, there is so many dangerous parts to this place! To say the stay was a frustrating would be correct!

Literally ski to the door!

Great little condo! It is literally a walk to the slopes! Maybe 100 yards to the Quicksilver chair. Steps from the kids ski school area. Walk to the village or main street! We never had to get in the car. Condo was very clean. Just needs some updating. The bathrooms need some love, but they are clean and got the job done. Good for a family with kiddos. Even has a built in potty seat on the toilets. The kitchen works great. Could use a few extras like oven pans, but we made do. The hot tubs were easy to get to and very clean. We will definitely be renting again! Like I said...super great if you have young kids and you don't want to carry all their stuff very far.
