Welcome to the Love Shack! Yes, we have a Rusted Tin Roof with a tip of the cap to the B-52's! You will have much fun as the song!! Our 5 Star Luxury ski-in ski-out home will make your trip effortless. Ski right from our door to the base of North America’s largest ski resort (Canyons/Park City). And the back of our home opens to the pristine wilderness of Iron Mountain. Beautiful views. Amazing fire pit for après and then s’mores later in the evening!
Bedrooms
Our home features four en-suite bedrooms. Each with a fireplace, large and vacant walk-in closet, and gorgeous, spacious full bath. The bedrooms are huge and offer a comfortable place to “get away”. We also have a fifth bedroom as well as a sixth sleeping area.
Layout
Besides hot tubbing or hanging around the fire pit in the private back yard, we love three other common areas of the house. The upstairs loft area that features a pool table, fireplace and large TV: the lower level with the ping pong table, theatre (110” screen) and high top table for great family games: and the main level with our large kitchen, dining and living areas. Our main level has tremendous views facing south toward Iron Mountain. You can walk right out to our deck and patio area and you are fully immersed in the mountains. Plenty of moose and mule deer sightings!
Besides our four bedrooms, we have an office with a fireplace than can easily be converted into a bedroom. The loft area also has a very comfortable foldout that has an adjacent full bath.
Features
Our whole house features heated floors with separate zones for unique temperature settings in each room as well as sound control in each room for the music system (you can plays songs right off your phone or iPad through our Wi-Fi).
We also have a large butler’s pantry (with an additional full size sink) off the kitchen which helps make entertaining or daily life a breeze.
A full size generator is standing by to protect you and your family if we lose power (very infrequently happens).
Pretrip
We will work tirelessly before your arrival to help you plan your best trip. Ski rentals (they bring your skis right to the house!), lift tickets, restaurant recommendations and other great activities besides skiing. Take advantage of our 20+ years of local knowledge to maximize your experience.
Arrival
When you arrive, you will quickly settle in with our concierge and start enjoying a vacation in a home that’s all yours!

Perfect ski vacation

Home was beautiful and comfortable, great location, and Dave was an amazing host. All of his tips and suggestions were wonderful. Easy to ski in/out. We had 2 families of 5 and sleeping arrangements were perfect. Highly recommend!!

Family gathering

Myself, my kids and their cousins had a great long weekend skiing at PC. The home was comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. Skiing out to the Canyons base was easy and skiing in to home was as well. Great communication with the homeowner. He gave us great recommendations, especially for a chef who cooked for us two nights, which allowed us all the luxury of skiing all day and relaxing back at the beautiful home and using its amenities. I hope to stay here again!

Great Place to Stay!

You know it's a great place when this is your second time there! Love this house and location, love the owner Dave, great communicator and really generous with his time and help. The house is great for multiple families, lots of room and entertainment, the kids kept busy with ping pong, pool and the large downstairs play area. Great spot on the mountain, ski in/out, shuttle, easy to get in/out from town. We love Park City and this is a great place to stay!

Super Family Time

We had two families and grandma stay for 7 nights. The big, spacious house was a retreat... kids could play, adults could connect. Lots of room and never felt too loud or cramped. Hosted great meals. Loads of fridge and freezer space, lots of dishes and we packed in and could have never left. We ventured out for biking, horse back riding, hiking and fishing all nearby. Absolutely recommend for groups of 10 or more!

Wonderful experience

Beautiful house, great owner, had lots of advice and interaction - very hospitable! House is in a great location, the shuttle bus is awesome option if the ski in/out doesn’t have enough snow, they were usually there within 5 minutes of requesting on the app. Bedrooms/baths were gorgeous - wonderful kitchen - ( I have refrigerator envy now) - lots of entertainment for kids with media room, ping pong and pool table. Thanks so much Dave for being a wonderful host!

Wonderful

Just as in the photos ,a wonderful home with exceptional amenities. I can’t imagine a nicer better experience. 6 Adults and 4 children and massive amount of room for all. David is so eager to help. He sent directions, suggestions, contact information and made himself readily available. Amazing experience all around. No complaints only accolades!!

Wonderful!

Our family vacation could not have been better thanks to our hosts. The home is magnificent, location is perfect and David ensured we had plenty of information and assistance for our first trip to Park City. The home had plenty of features that allowed our family of 10 to enjoy our time and not feel crowded. Loved the Hot Tub and fire pit outside as well as all the fireplaces throughout the home. Wonderful kitchen with all you could ask for. The house manager was also extremely helpful and available for any questions or issues we had which were very few. We would absolutely love to return to this beautiful home and be David's guests again. Thank you David!

Wonderful home!

We spent a week at the Love Shack and cannot recommend this beautiful home enough. From the get-go Dave, the owner, was communicative and helpful and enthusiastic- his love for his home and for Park City is contagious and made us all that much more excited about our trip. We had a large group- two families of 5- and the house accommodated us perfectly. We had plenty of space to spread out, and there were lots of common areas for all of us to spend time together. The home itself had everything we needed and having stayed in similar homes before, we especially appreciated the abundance of linens (so many towels!). The property’s location made it easy for us to get our young kids to and from Canyons and the whole trip was completely seamless. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you Young Family for lending out your beautiful home!

Great ski getaway

We were a party of 9 looking for a nice ski in/ ski out property in the Canyons, and this property was perfect for our group. The house is so spacious and beautiful, with a hot tub and outdoor firepit which were the perfect place to end our day. The ski in/ ski out was not direct, as it was necessary to cross a street to get to the lift up in the morning, and also necessary to do some traversing to get home, but neither of these were difficult or a deterrent. The kitchen was large and very well equipped, and David was very responsive and accommodating to our needs for our infant grandson, providing a crib, highchair, and plates and spoons. The large gas fireplace made the living room warm and cozy, and the oversized washer and dryer made doing laundry very easy. The only complaint we had was that the house did not seem well cleaned on arrival. There was old food under the chair we moved to vacuum the floor, and the sheets did not seem fresh. The manager, Paul, was very responsive, though. He immediately sent people to make sure the walkways and driveway were shoveled after a big snow. Overall, a great experience, and we would highly recommend this home.

Great House and Great Location

We stayed at this lovely home in February of 2021. The communication with Dave (The Owner) was fantastic. You get detailed information, including videos, on how to get to the property by car, and by skis. The suggestions were great and we had pre-ordered groceries with Stacy's grocery service stocked prior to us getting there. Ski Valet came to the home to fit our skis. It is a true ski-in/ski-out home. The ski-out portion does require you to take your skis off to cross a street, but you walk about 20 yards and pop them back on and you're right on the lift. This is on the Canyon's side, so the skiing is a little more advanced, which was fine for our group. The hot tub was awesome and the outside fire pit was really great. All the bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms are equally impressive. The fireplaces in the rooms are gas, which really warm the place up if you need it. The fireplaces in the downstairs and upstairs living areas are a bit tricky. There is an explanation process how they work, which they detail greatly. We burned wood on the first night and got a little backdraft into the house, so we didn't burn any wood the rest of the time. That did not bother us, nor did it detract from the experience. Kitchen is absolutely perfect and it is well stocked with all the cooking utensils that you will need. If you've never been to Park City, this is your place. It is about 10-15 minutes from most of the restaurants you will see, which was great because you're not directly in the hustle and bustle. Rent with confidence and enjoy this great home.

Perfect!

Property was perfect for our group of three families each with two kids. The layout of the house works great for large groups as adults can have their space while kids can hangout in the amazingly finished basement with great room for kids to sleep, while giving adults the ability to unwind on the main floor. Three king master suites worked perfect for our group with three sets of parents. Location was also perfect giving you easy access to Canyons Village by car while also allowing you to ski on/off. This is snow dependent so be aware, but easily done by kids and adults when snow permitted. Lift at bottom of ski access was not running at the time of our stay but would have been great. Needless to say just a short walk from the end of the access trail gets you to gondola. Hot tub and fire pit were great to have after a day of skiing as was the projection tv for watching movies in the basement. Really couldn't find anything to complain about. Owner was extremely responsive and proactive providing a ton of information prior to our stay. Thanks for allowing us to make great memories in PC! Hopefully the snow will be better next year!

Mini-Retreat

Property was spectacular with in/out access to the slopes, a short distance to the center of the city and had an open communication with the Owner and House Manager for any questions we may have had beforehand. They were amazing to deal with and provided a list of recommendations for skiing and dinners prior to our arrival for an effortless stay. Thank you!

White Christmas

From the moment we walked in the door we felt the care and thoughtfulness that went into decorating and stocking this enormous house! In spite of its size, there was a very cozy feeling that made our Christmas warm and wonderful! David the owner couldn't have been more helpful and always available for any questions we might have. David provided us with so many fabulous resources from a terrific chef who prepared a meal for us to the photographer who came on Christmas day to take family photos. We would love to rent again, but know we would need to book early since this house is such a treasure!

Beautiful house with amazing location

The house is beautiful and the location is very close to Canyons Village. Hiking and skiing is available out the front door. David (owner) and Paul (property manager) are responsive and great to deal with. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely fabulous home. A 10 plus! Great Owner!

We've rented many homes over the years and this one was the best yet. I can easily judge the quality of the home by its Kitchen....this one had the best of everything. Wolf, Sub Zero, every appliance known to man (waffle, ,panni , 3 coffee makers, etc.), and enough dishes to host a party of 50. Truly amazing . (Grocery stores and shopping within 5-10 minutes.) The house has lots of relaxing space. Very comfortable, well made furniture. Hot tub, TVs, pool and ping pong tables. Plenty of light for reading. We never had a desire to leave; too much effort compared to the serenity of the house. Large bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable, have never slept better in the mountains (elev. 6,000ft), huge spacious stone bathrooms. We were there for skiing....you literally walk SIX steps from the garage to the ski trail!!!!. This is the best, especially at the end of the day. Also, ask owner about Ski Butler for rentals if you really want to make your life simple. It was a great recommendation for our family. Overall experience: it was an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Red Pine Mountain Home

This home was beautiful and perfectly laid out to host and manage all ages of family members with plenty of space for everyone to either retreat in quiet or gather together. Kitchen was awesome. Stocked with all the cooking pots pans and utensils you could need. Cocktail bar. So many helpful amenities available in the house to use. Location is perfect for Canyons. Hot tub backyard a plus. Fireplaces in almost every room that work. Well done. Easy, Owners fantastic to work with. Had zero problems.

We are 20+ year visitors/ owners in Park City. Our family has grown up enjoying winter and summer in PC and the memories are priceless...they have helped define our family to the point that one of our children now lives in Park City and works as a Physical Therapist for the US Ski Team.

It's the perfect blend of space and functionality. Our house has great areas for family togetherness as well as huge bedrooms that are great for away time. Being able to ski out to the hill and ski back to the fire pit for après is a game changer. Also being in the woods yet able to walk over to base for concerts, activities and restaurants is a crowd pleaser.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sitting around our fire pit with a frosted mug after skiing can't be beat except perhaps by making s'mores and watching the stars later in the evening.
