Mountainback condo #62 is a beautifully remodelled unit complete with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and all the comforts of home! You can have all the upgrades and still be in the mountains with this unit, the pictures speak for themselves. Free secured WIFI and all the comforts of home

Maximum Occupancy is 6 people!

Bed Arrangements: In the master bedroom there is a queen size bed with a futon. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the living room sofa pulls out as an extra sleeper.

Unit Amenities: The newly remodeled kitchen is not only beautiful to look at with its granite counter tops and stainless appliances, but it is also fully equipped for your cooking pleasure! Secured WiFi is available in this unit. Washer and dryer are also available for renter's use! The unit also includes a fireplace, TV, VCR/DVD and CD player. A 65" TV in the living room.

Distance: Walking distance to Canyon Lodge and a shuttle stop in front of building, perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer! | Maximum 2 vehicles. One assigned underground parking space (7’ Clearance). Second space is first come first serve.

The premises has 6 jacuzzi's and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with bbq area!

Great location and covered parking a big plus! Host was very prompt about questions. However, it was dirty, no hot water in the master bath and extremely noisy when trying to sleep.

Presidents Day Holiday

Very nice property, the owner has a fully decked out kitchen and supplies.... Internet service was perfect. You can walk or take the bus to the first stop on the way home.

Convenient but dingy

Great location and covered parking is a plus. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated and are nice. However the kitchen appliances may need to be updated. The beds are rickety and old and definitely need replacing. Heat and hot water worked fine, though the heaters in bedrooms had a mind of their own. This is in the second floor but due to snow accumulation, all windows were blocked by snow drifts making it seem like we were living a cave - no natural light.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here - it had all the amenities for our 4 night stay. Modern kitchen with all the amenities, comfy couch & a great TV! Master bdrm had a nice mattress, bathroom area was roomy. Unit next to the Office bldg so we enjoyed the saltwater jacuzzi there, friendly office staff.CONS - was hard to get a fire going (no kindling/newspaper/lighter), twin bed mattresses were too firm, floorboards very thin (heard the overhead neighbors too well), unit lacked a humidifier (needed in winter). But overall a very enjoyable stay with our family! A bit of a walk to Canyon with ski gear (15 mins, mostly uphill), but Blue line shuttle very close by.

Avoidable Issues Negatively Affected Our Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three problems: An uncleaned condo on arrival, cool water in the master shower, and uncomfortable bed in master. First, by honest mistake, no one cleaned the condo after the previous renters left. We had to go to the office to get help and someone from the office felt the need to come and confirm that we were telling the truth. He saw slept-in beds, towels all over the floors of the bathrooms and a well-used kitchen. He got a cleaner in quickly, who did a quick and almost-complete job. But it was good enough to move in. Second, we were only able to get slightly cool water in the master shower leaving us with shivers after a quick rinse. We learned toward the end of our stay that you have to push in the temperature control knob, to change the temperature. Who knew?? We didn't. A little note on the wall would have been helpful. Third, the bed in the master is not comfortable. I may be spoiled, but after a day of skiing, a comfortable bed would have been nice. It's too common in vacation rentals.In spite of these issues, I would recommend this otherwise nice unit, walking distance to Canyon Lodge.

Summer adventure with friends

Reviewer Comments: We arrived at Mountainback #62 on Jul. 30.Living area & kitchen are spacious and all are clean.3 light bulbs and drier were not working.Shower water was lukewarm warm.Office staff immediately tried to fix them.They were very nice and welcomed us.One bulb above dinning table and drier were not fixed, but it was not big problem.Weather was gorgeous and no smoke from wildfires during our stay (one week).Location is convenient for reaching the hiking trails (Dragon's back, Rainbow falls, Duck pass, 20 lakes basin) and shops/restaurants in Mammoth village. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Good spot

Well maintained, recently remodeled kitchen, well-provisioned with utensils. Good location, right down the street from Canyon lodge, short walk to Blue Line stop 76, quick ride to village gondola or Canyon Lodge, 3rd stop on route home at the end of day. Easy check in/check out, covered parking. Only downsides: average TV/AV options, internet was hit and miss, water was warm/hot, but if you like steamy showers not the hottest water. All in all, a great unit for a family of 4, location to skiiing and village, well appointed.

Great place, planning to go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is great. It is very clean, well appointed and recently updated and right by the office for easy check in and out. It was also close to the car so easy in and out with gear. The location is walkable to Canyon though a bit of an uphill hike so we had someone drop us and our gear off and the driver returned the car and ran back. Midweek we easily parked right by Canyon so that's an option. The living room couch was comfortable for 3 adults to lounge and the dining table great for all meals. Kitchen was spacious for a couple cooks and well appointed with dishes and glasses. Great appliances including a drawer microwave.We were 2 adults in the master with 1 teenager in the second bedroom.

If you plan on working form here, bring a hot spot. 2. There was no hot water in the master shower, it go warm but never hot. Besides that, the place is great. God location, well stocked, easy parking.

Immaculate condition, but not the most comfortable

First, I must say this property is very clean, the overall condition is very impressive. Now the bad stuff.... 1. No HOT water, water for showers got warm but not hot. 2. Wifi did not work. We connected, but internet did not work at all. 3. The beds are awful. The mattresses are very cheap and we had springs in our bodies all night. When we would move to adjust and attempt to get comfortable the headboard would bang against the wall. This happened in both the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom. We ended up shoving towels behind the headboard to get rid of the sound. We ended up leaving a day early because these issues were making our stay unbearable. Not having a hot shower after a day on the slopes combined with horrible sleep and not being able to access the internet forced us to cut our trip short.

Great for small family

Our family of 4 stayed here over Labor Day weekend. Clean place and good location next to mammoth village and close to Lake Mary and the other lakes. Would stay here again!

The condo was completely furnished ànd clean. The location was great for visiting the lakes basin. Close to the village too. We would stay again and recommend to anyone.
