We had a wonderful stay, the place was very clean and an easy walk to the pool and short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again in the future!

Kapalua Bay Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean and in a good location. Great views on the Lanai.

Always love Kapalua. Great condo location and views. Three BIG issues with our unit - the master (king bed) bedroom has major A/C issue that could not be fixed until the day of our departure. Evidently the bearings are bad making the unit very noisy preventing good sleep. Had to sleep with the unit off, making the room hot, adding to no restful sleep.Also, it smelled unmistakably like urine in the room, especially near the closet and bathroom. Lastly, we chose this specific unit as the photos showed there was a recliner in the living room. My 85 year old mother has had both shoulders replaced (the most recent in April of this year) and has to sleep in a recliner to alleviate pressure on her shoulders. Management said there was no way they could get a recliner in the unit. VERY disappointed, won’t be renting this unit again.

Aloha Judith, We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay and that we were unable to get the AC issue fully resolved during your stay. One of our staff members did come to your unit after hours during the night to provide a stand-up fan to help with the inconvenience. We also apologize regarding the smell you noticed in the closet and bathroom. We wish we had been notified when you first arrived. Unfortunately, we were not aware of the issue, as we did not receive a call or message to our office. Had we known, we would have been happy to send our housekeeping back to the unit and address the issue. We are also sorry that there was no recliner in the unit as shown in the photos. The recliner had previously broken and needed to be removed. Since each unit is individually owned, the owner did not replace it at this time. We are currently working on updating our photos so they accurately reflect the furnishings in the unit, and we will also pass along your suggestion regarding the recliner to the owner. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback is helpful to us as we work to improve the guest experience. Mahalo, Sullivan Properties Team

Beautiful Rental on Fox Island, I would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately, my trip wasn’t as long because my son got sick, but they were very accommodating and allowed me to still use some of the days. I definitely want to bring my family back when we have more time to spend. We highly recommend a small family or a couples vacation. The home was very clean and cozy.

The location was amazing, close to good surf breaks and secluded enough from the crowds. The condo was clean and we really felt at home there. One minor thing is that beds were a little hard and pillows a bit flat. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to come back soon!

Booking was easy. The location and how quiet the community was just what expected. Neighborhood was pleasant. Furniture & amenities a bit outdated & slightly uncomfortable due to wear. Overall, met expectations.

Great!

Kapalua never disappoints. This is a great place to stay - close to the ocean, lose to the pool, great places to sit outside and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze.

Relaxing Retreat

Great views, easy check-in, quick walk to beach. Unit is directly across street from community pool and grills. We were able to cook in unit, grill at pool and walk (1/2 mile) to restaurants.

Beautiful view, great location

This is our second time staying at this unit, and it is just a lovely home base. Roomy, clean, and comfortable. We particularly enjoy the amazing view and the amenities, like the very nearby pool, washer/dryer, A/C, and kitchen.

Great stay

The condo was great—exactly as promised. Wonderful location across from the pool. Easy walk to the beach and to nearby ritz Carlton with restaurants. Easy walk to local market too. The managers kept us up to date on things like the pool code changing and check in/check out was easy with the reminders they sent

Great condo and views

We have stayed in approximately six condos in the kapalua villas and this was definitely a favorit. We typically ha e booked the same 2 fir a couple of years, however decided to try a new one. Great layout, close to the pool, amazing views, clean and the kitchen is updated. I had to work a few days and the internet was strong and fast. We definitely would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, close to golf, beach, restaurants, hiking, snorkeling and a number of other locations to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation. The beach is only a couple of blocks down the street that we could walk to. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed to make our family comfortable. Would definitely rent again

Kapalua Ridge is glorious

We love Kapalua and the Ridge units. This one has great views and tons of space. Really enjoyed proximity to pool and main road / beaches. Still felt quiet and secluded. The unit could use updating / refreshing, and we were unable to extend our checkout by even a short time without paying extra money.
