The host was very welcoming and was very helpful even when my travel brain could not manuver the very easy door lock for initial entry. The place was well stocked with cooking spices and great beach gear.

A Slice of Paradise

Location was great. There was a little beach by the property with sea turtles everyday. You did have to climb down some rocks to get there but nothing difficult. View from the lanai was beautiful. Check in was easy. Plenty of space for our family of three. The condo had everything we needed. Thank you!

Little slice of heaven

We loved our stay at Mahina Surf. The location was nice and quiet, and an easy drive to most places. We loved coming home at the end of the day to the views, the chill vibe and the great community that gathers here. We will come again for sure! Thanks for having us.

The place was beautiful, well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed. Such a beautiful view from the patio, and the owners were wonderful to work with. Quick response if we needed anything. We will be back!

Beautiful view!

Great stay for my family! What you see is what you get. The view off the lanai is stunning and where we spent most of our time while at the condo. Condo is well stocked and the host was very communicative and easy to contact if we had questions. The beds were comfy. It did get warm in the condo but we found that the ceiling fans and other provided fans helped. There is no AC. Would definitely stay here again!

Kahana Beach

Lovely spot north of Lahaina & Kaā€™anapali. Near West Maui beaches and all sights this side of Maui. Condo was perfect for our party of 3. All the little personal touches made it super comfortable to stay here. Lovely grounds, quiet family-friendly resort, heated pool is nice on a windy day. We Would come back!

Beautiful home, perfect location

We found the home very comfortable. Breeze off the ocean made it so pleasant, and the view is stunning. We didnā€™t hang out at home much. Basically used the home as a crash pad for daily adventure sightseeing.

the check in was a little stressful after a full day of air travel because the key was not left in the correct place but after getting in touch with Darren all was taken care of in just a matter of minutes The condo was even better than expected with a beautiful view of the ocean from the bslcony we highly recommend this condo to anyone

Wonderful property

The condo was perfect. It was very nicely decorated. The view was mesmerizing. They provided everything you would need for a short term or long term stay. Kitchen with everything you would want. Pool and beach items a plenty. Definitely want to return.

Great Location

Nice property. The pictures donā€™t actually do the view justice. The unit has a partially obstructed view of the ocean but itā€™s better than it looks from the pictures. The property itself is beautifully maintained. And we were lucky enough to see a group if sea turtles swim in on two if the evenings.

Awesome place to stay!

Beautifully upgraded condo with gorgeous views from balcony. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were probably the thickest and softest I have ever used in any VRBO or hotel. The entire condo had a luxurious feel to it as it was obvious that the owner paid attention to every little detail. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in a VRBO. It even had a large spice rack! The pool and grounds were very nice.

The Best!!!

Mahina Surf property has it all in gorgeous setting with best pool, honu abound and whale watching. Easy walk to morning coffee and the Times grocery store. Our condo was beautifully updated with well stocked kitchen appliances, wifi/tv in every room and fantastic view from the lanai. I would return again and again. Mahalo for sharing your bit of paradise with us.

This place is truly a hidden gem - ok maybe not so hidden as its always booked, but its just an exceptional view and stay. You're own fairly private sunsets every night. Pool with a view just steps away. 2 minute walk to see the turtles. As pretty much everyone says the loft get abit hot, fans work but it wont get cool. The daily constant breeze is the life safer. Place was clean and we appreciated the extra amenities (spices for cooking, cleaning supplies etc). Highly recommend!! Only downside - its on the west side of Maui, if you plan to do the HANA road, just know its about an hour drive to the east side of Maui before you officially start that road. Other than that, which isn't really a negative, the place is well worth the stay!!

Gorgeous view!!!!

We had a great stay! Very clean, everything we needed in the kitchen, bed was very comfortable. Gorgeous view!!!! and turtles on the little beach next door (to the north) every night. Do note that there is no A/C so it does get a little warm in the afternoon if you are sensitive to that or you have to have it 60 degrees to sleep. We are not big fans of A/C so it wasn't an issue for us but thought I would note it. We always had a great breeze coming in the slider and there are many fans in the unit. Mahalo for a fantastic vacation!

Fully loaded rental!

I love Mahina Surf and this unit was super well appointed- it had everything, even a baby bottle brush! The owners worked with me so I could get some rented baby furniture delivered ahead of our stay and were very nice. Just be aware this is a second story unit and thereā€™s a lot of stairs to get to the unit and then in the unit. Sort of tough with a baby and stroller etc etc.

A nice property with a beautiful view and turtles to greet you on the beach. Furnishings of the condo were good. The kitchen pans needed to be replaced. More towels and sheets could be provided. A little noisy being next to the pool. Fans made noise after being on awhile . There was no battery in the fan remote in upstairs bedroom.

Exceptional Stay

We have never been to Hawaii. We chose this VRBO, it was a great experience. We didn't know what to expect so we brought extra items. They had it all. It was very clean, very well stocked with dishes and utensils. The outdoor equipment had everything we needed to go snorkeling, boogie boards, mats, chairs, umbrella. We had an amazing time. We actually left the stuff we brought there to pass on the good fortune of this fabulous find. It was so close to everything. We did have to drive to the beach, but the Turtles out back made up for it. Thank you for taking such good care of us! For those use to AC, this upgraded Condo didn't have it, but the breeze going through was fabulous.

Awsome Views

Our first impression wasnt great, we opened our front door to have several of the door slates fall off onto the porch we then went in and the rug in living room was filthy had spilled food and stains, I actually had to take a towel and try and clean it up. we got coffee cups the next morning out of the cupboard to find they were dirty and so were some silverware and plates, so we basically had to wash these dishes out by hand. They property had a amazing view and was remodeled very well. The maintance man was awsome and he did come and fix the slates in the front door and said property was going to get all new doors. I would stay again it was awsome property and we loved seeing the turtles each evening, but housekeeping really needs to be addressed.

Beauty of Maui

The description of the unit we stayed in is pretty much bang on, it certainly is a "piece of paradise". The unit is situated in a prime location. For the price we paid I have few recommendations; The surface cleaning was done just fine, however I feel it's time for a thorough deep clean (carpets, drawers, dusting) and a fresh paint job would do wonders for the place. An updated binder is required as it's not applicable with the existing tv remotes, as we had issues. A new set of towels would be great, (no longer white) in one of the bathrooms and limited face cloths. The cutlery/dishes/pots and pans/ bowls etc were plentiful, a new can opener would be good. The layout of the condo is very comfortable, as stated in the online listing the cabinetry and counter tops are beautiful, appliances all worked and the lanai was wonderful with an amazing view.
