Property was clean. Furnishings were a little sparce. Futon and rocking chair only sitting arrangements in living room. Nothing against kids, but the constant running above our condo was annoying.

Thank you for taking the time to rate your stay and provide a review. We are sorry that you did not feel there was enough seating for four people. The property is a condo setting with adjoining units. We wish you would have let us know while you were on site that you were hearing excessive noise. We provide numerous communication options, including a 24 hour phone line. We want all of our guests to have a relaxing stay. We hope you are able to join us again in the future. Neither tv worked upon check in—finally used Emergency # & Allen came to fix them. An instruction book on operating Direct TV would help. Allen was GREAT!! Very nice updated bathrooms but no safety bars on tub or shower. Bed very comfortable. Futon makes miserable seating. No table but plenty of space for one. Coffee maker difficult to use. Loved the balcony..could use a little table out there. The staff were very helpful & friendly.

Exceeded our expectations.

This is an excellent place in an extraordinary location. The river below is beautiful from the large balcony. The hand-carved wood furniture is impressive. We had everything we needed, plus a gift basket with hot chocolate to mix after a long day of fun.

Wonderful Location and Accommodations

We really enjoyed our stay at Fawn Valley Inn for a wonderful fall weekend. The unit is very spacious and has all the little touches you might need. I particularly appreciated the kitchen which was well-supplied and very clean. It's nice to be right on the river and very close to one of the RMNP entrances. Highly recommended.

Location was wonderful. Staff was so very nice and helpful. Very close to RMNP entrance and town area. The river running in back was incredible. However, the unit itself was very rundown and seemed dirty. The carpet was nasty and even had carpet in one of the bathrooms. It was a very depressing place to be in such a beautiful destination.

The unit was as described. Dated furnishings but clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower pleasantly strong with great hot water. The location was definitely a huge bonus right outside the Rocky Mountain National Park's Fall River entrance. The only two things I missed in the kitchen were there were no oven mitts and the only knives provided were steak knives which were pretty dull. Fridge was nice and clean and kept food well chilled. Listening to the mountain stream from the deck was relaxing.

Absolutely lovely!

The unit was adorable, cozy and clean. The location was so peaceful and Elk were all over the place. The unit has absolutely everything you need to be comfortable and prepare meals at home if you want. The fireplace was a great addition and sitting outside on the porch in the evening listening to the river was so tranquil. The management team on site was so friendly and the owner beyond helpful! The bed was so comfy and so appreciated after a long day hiking. The only little negative was water pressure and temperature...needed to be a little stronger and warmer. Absolutely loved the place and plan on returning!

Fun Stay

The beautiful river/creek running through the back was so wonderful. The only thing that could’ve made it better was if there were four rocking chairs instead of only one. We really enjoyed the warm swimming pool but it ddidnt open till 830 and we needed to hit the road so we only go to swim once. Would be nice if it opened at 7:00am for people who are traveling . We also couldn’t buy ice before we left because the office wasn’t open yet.

Debbie, It is unfortunate to hear you were dissatisfied with your stay. The onsite laundry room machines were out of order during your stay due to unforeseen mechanical issues that were out of our control. For the inconvenience, we offered you a solution of a refund and allowed you to use the staff laundry room to make it right. Despite our best efforts, we were still not able to please you, we wish that was not the case and hope despite the inconvenience you were still able to enjoy your vacation in Estes.

6 day stay at great property

This was a wonderful location. Less than 5 minutes to Rocky Mountain NP, and a beautiful condo with a stream and a trail right behind the property. The bed and futon were very comfortable and even without AC, it never got very hot even in late July. It was very quiet, people were friendly, and just a great place. The only very minor criticism is the kitchen. It needed a couple things to make it a fully functional kitchen. There was no mixing bowls, cutting board, ice cube trays, and a couple of other kitchen essentials were missed. This is very minor, but it brought an amazing 5 star place down to a 4.5 star. Outside of those small kitchen things this place is 5 star all the way.

Clean with lovely view

This little condo was nice and clean. We enjoyed the wood stove after hiking in 12-14" of snow. We enjoyed cooking our own dinners in the condo. The king bed was very comfortable. The view off the balcony was very nice, and we enjoyed hearing the rushing water. We feel the kitchen needed some updating. Not much to work with. Need to update dishes and get some glass wine goblets. The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on and had to prop several pillows behind our backs. Having two bathrooms was nice. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for sharing your blessings with us.

Hello Gary! Thank you for taking your time to post a review. It was nice to hear that you enjoyed the cozy fire and comfortable bed after your hike in the Park. We appreciate your feedback on the comfort of the couch and the appointment of the kitchen needing to be updated. We hope you have the opportunity to come back and stay with us again in the future.

Not curb appealing

We were skeptical about the place when we pulled to check in. You go into a hallway and up some stairs to get to the unit. The unit was a nice size and the king bed was great. However the water pressure was next to none. Took a long time to rinse off in the shower. The unit has two doors, one being in the bedroom. They need to have a better seal around them as they let a lot of the hallway light in while trying to sleep. It is a dated unit, with the toilets being really low and counters were low as well. I'd say it was a little over priced for what we got.
