Beautiful canal home surrounded by water on a double lot with great dockspace for fishing and tieing up boats to hit the West Bay for trophy trout, redfish, and flounder. The property is on the corner of the canal (easy access to the West Bay) and across from the wetlands. This property is literally surrounded by water. The house has been updated with granite counters, stainless appliances, wood and travertine flooring throughout. The master suite is secluded on the top floor.

A great family home in a terrific family neighborhood! Enjoy fishing and crabbing right off the dock and surrounding bulkhead. The yard has plenty of room for a game of volleyball and horse shoes. The home has 4 decks, 1 huge deck off the living room, 1 accessible off the kitchen and guest room, 1 off the master bedroom, and 1 off the master bedroom closet. The dock below the large deck offers a place for a hammock, seats to enjoy morning coffee, an outdoor grill and sink, table with chairs and an outdoor television with seating to enjoy sports or television with the whole family. The home includes all linens and a washer/dryer. All the luxuries of home so you don't have to travel with extras. The home is just 2 minutes from Jamaica Beach oceanfront and 8 miles to Schlitterbahn Water Park and Moody Gardens! Great bars and restaurants just minutes from the property.

It is a nice house with gorgeous views.

Staying right on the bay water for this price is a great place to go. It is not a new construction, but it has been taken care and it was comfortable for us six people. It has a new & clean couch in the living room. We had amazing five evenings during Spring Break week 2023!

Family Vacation

This was a great place to stay. We caught fish from the dock and enjoyed sitting on the decks. The tv in the outdoor space was great for night fishing and watching football. We would definitely would rent this house again.

Very nice house but little things need to be fixed.

The over all property was very nice. Nice kitchen, but non stick pans had Teflon scraping off which is a hazard. I suggest replacing with steel. More silverware is needed. Family room was nice and well kept. Bedrooms were in decent shape but needed a fan upstairs to keep air moving. Water pressure was absolutely horrible at the kitchen sink and upstairs shower but surprisingly the upstairs sinks had plenty of pressure. Toilet downstairs was running when we got to the place. Seal is gone on the tank filler and needs to be replaced. Broken off plug in the upstairs GFCI by the tub. Overall space was very dusty and not cleaned to a standard I have come to expect from VRBO. No broom that we could find to sweep so we just used the bathroom. Broken outside furniture. This could be an awesome rental if only things would get fixed up a bit.

Great!!

Much better than expected. It is actually more decorated that shown in these pictures, which I enjoyed. The upstairs Master's Suite is very large with a to die for closet (small room) which is not shown. There were numerous games, volleyball, croquet, floats, kayak, rods & reels, tackle, nice seating outside, etc. The only negative was the propane grill was not working, but there was a small charcoal grill that worked for burgers, which was all we needed since we caught no big red's to blacken. Everything was really nice and much enjoyed. Thank you!!! Oh yes, there was always a breeze which meant 'no skeeters', probably because the location of the cross canals.

Awesome place to stay. we would definitely do it again!!

We had a geat time at the house, everything was as expected. Mich kept in touch with me to make sure we enjoyed our stay and was very informative about the house and Jamaica Beach. We would definitely stay again!! Thanks again Mich for allowing us to stay at your house for my daughter's graduation.

Great!

I stayed here only for 2 nights with my family and we didn't want to leave... It is very easy to arrive with the indications tha that Mick provided. Communication and handling was very easy going. He was available when we needed him. I would definitely recommend it.

Relaxing Experience

Perfect house on the Island...

This place has everything we were looking for in a rental on the island: on the water- perfect for us to do some fishing while the rest of the group relaxed on the huge deck overlooking the canal. It's close to the beach and close to the nightlife of Galveston (but far away enough to see the stars and hear the waves at night!). The house is nicer than my house in Houston- so that was a nice surprise as I have stayed at a lot of beach houses on the island! Very clean, everything was update and practically brand new. Just a very cozy, convenient place to take a last minute trip with my friends. We will definitely come back!

Wow!! Amazing Rental for relaxation, entertaining and definately fishing.

Cannot wait to come back! My family and I were looking for a place to stay on a last minute getaway, and we could not have found a better house! Booking was extremely easy and the owner even followed up multiple times during the trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The house was in immaculate condition when we showed up and just as we expected based on the listing and pictures we saw online. Our group had five adults total and the home was the perfect size, and included all the necessary amenities for our vacation. My family and I would definitely recommend this place to others. We hope to make this house as part of our annual family trip, if they will let us :o)

Jamaica Beach Rental

My wife and I joined two other couples in Jamaica Beach for a long weekend of fishing and fun and were not disappointed! The house is spacious and well kept with beautiful outdoor areas for grilling, watching football and even sun bathing for the ladies. The nearby fishing was fantastic - plenty of food for the outdoor grill every evening! The neighbors are friendly and the area in general is the perfect location for a vacation with friends and family.
