Our stay was excellent. The room was very clean and the view stunning. The only problem we had was getting in the gate. We were given the wrong code. The property owner was prompt and friendly to correct this though. The property was also clean and very very nice. Close to town and yet very quiet.

Rincon getaway

My husband and I were very impressed with our stay here. I have been traveling to PR since I was a little girl and wanted to stay in Rincon to experience the rural countryside. The studio was clean, organized, modern, and super cute. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking!!!! If you want to experience Rincons beauty then this place fits the bill.

Rincon Getaway

Nice 3 day visit to Rincon. First time there. The accommodations had a million dollar view that can't be beat. The only down side was that we found alot of places that were closed, especially during the week. Unless you're a surfer, not much to do in the area.

Just book it! Stayed for 5 nights. Apartment was very nice and clean. Just a little wear and tear but to be expected and nothing that bothered me. Oceanfront views right from bed! Nice pool area and small private-ish beach! Secure gated parking too! Our host was attentive and helped us right away at check-in as complex changed the gate code. Location is on south end of town and has a few restaurants within a 10 min walk. But the main town square and most other restaurants, grocery store and main beach are a quick 10 min drive away.

Rincón trip

The view was amazing, just like the picture. There was a small bump in the check in and I called them and in 10 minutes everything was resolved. They were very courteous, attentive to what was needed. I will recommend it to anyone. I also met some people at the place and they love it as well, they are returning customers I’m sure I will be back against.

Hi Noredia, thank you for your feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful view from the studio apartment!- Power Outage: As mentioned prior to your arrival, the area was experiencing a widespread power outage affecting much of Puerto Rico. While this was unfortunately beyond our control, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.- Bathroom Issue: Thank you for bringing the clogged toilet to our attention. We reached out to offer assistance, and we're glad to hear your husband was able to resolve it.We sincerely appreciate your understanding during these unexpected circumstances and hope to have the opportunity to host you again under smoother conditions.

Rincon 2024

The property was beautiful, clean . The one problem we did encounter was that the unit was on the 8th floor, and the entire visit one or both elevators were out all the time. We had both elevators out of service for 3 days in a row. I just had my hip replaced, and it rendered me incapable of going out of the apartment, due to my inability to walk 130 steps upward and downwards consistently. This was the biggest disappointment of our trip.

Great view but that’s about it

No hot water, there’s no hottub despite the listing saying so (it’s a kiddie pool that’s colder than the two other pools). I emailed the host about us having to take cold showers the ENTIRE stay and they did nothing about it. Very disappointed. Fair location and great view. The curtains didn’t extend all the way so we work up at sunrise every morning and not by choice due to the light shining in. Not worth the price.

Hi Nicole, we followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We strive to ensure that our guests have a positive experience with us and provide high standards of hospitality. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the views!- During your stay, we confirmed that the breakers had been turned off, and our management informed you about the procedure for activating the hot water.- We aim for transparency and our listing is accurately advertised. For amenities, there isn't a hot tub and we never confirmed with guests that there is one available..- Communication is important to us and we maintain consistent availability for any questions or concerns that guests have during their stay with us.We do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Enjoyable Stay

The property was very nice. Trying to get in the first time was a little tricky but it worked out. The view from the room was beautiful and it was a rather quiet stay. There were some people that lived there and they mainly stayed outside during our stay. We went with friends that stayed 2 floors below us, but we could talk by hanging out the window. We never watched TV so I don't know how that worked. We also didn't cook or anything so I can't comment on the dishes or utensils in the room. Bring extra toilet paper with you. We were left a half a roll of toilet paper and no spares were provided, so we did leave a extra roll. Not something you want to run out of! The pool water was pretty cold but we went in May. All in all, it was a nice experience and we would definitely stay there again.

great views, nice clean apartrment

overall, it was a great apartment, and I would definitely stay there again, just a few things: The bathroom sink seemed to be clogged and had a very slow drain. A dish drainer would be nice too. When washing dishes, there was no place to set them to dry. Finally, the sofa was a bit tattered. I've noticed that prior comments/observations have been addressed and, as I said, these are minor items, and I would not hesitate to go back as I loved waking up to the amazing views it provided. Love the soft sheets too! Very clean, which is more important than anything else. Didn't give a 5-star rating for property manager communication, had to rate it anyway but there was no need to communicate once I arrived. Checking in was simple and seamless. I thank the owners for a lovely stay.

Pontos positivos: Limpeza, check-in e localização

Great view. Good location.

Great view, few amenities. Quiet unit (outside of the roosters) and great location. Pros: The space was clean outside of the items mentioned and the view was great during the day, There is air conditioning and a small closet for your clothing and incidentals. The central location was nice and made getting around easy. Cons: There is updating needed to the unit. The wall tile was broken and kept falling off; the bathroom sink was clogged and took at least a half hour to drain rendering it unusable. The furniture was ripped and worn in the living space. The rugs were shaggy and appeared to be uncleaned. The linens looked barely clean on the bed and stained. The window was dirty and filled with finger prints that was very visible in the evening ..in fact it was our only view in the evening. The ants made it nearly impossible to use the kitchen or eat any food in the unit. There was no specific space listed to park in the instructions... But we had friends in a nearby unit who allowed us to use their additional space. There was also visiting parking in the garage a few days. We enjoyed our vacation in Rincon. It's a great town on the island as well as the neighboring towns. Would more than likely chose another space just for personal preferences, but still recommend staying if you're looking for a local vibe and less resort feel.

Nice place with access to the beach but could use some additional inclusions.

Overall good experience. Good price, good location, decent pool and access to the beach. The condo was lacking in supplies and amenities. Nothing was included. We had to buy toilet paper and paper towels. There wasn’t a blender. Very little kitchen items. No beach towels, no beach chairs. Additional and amenities would Have made the stay way more enjoyable.

804 Pelican Reef

We had previously stayed 3 times in 2 bedroom units. We were somewhat concerned that the 1 BD studio would feel cramped. Not a problem. Pleanty of room for us, spectacular view from the 8th floor. Kitchen and bathroom fine. Cable TV and wi-fi great. The host very responsive. The issues at Pelican Reef are: 1. One of the elevators is very unreliable. My wife was stuck twice in the elevator and I helpped out in two other rescues. 2. There was a wide spread PR power outage for three days. That is when I found out that the large emergency genator for the buliding only servies the "common" areas, not individual units. This is unfortunate.

Review 804 Pelican Reef

We have stayed in 2 bed room units 3 times at Pelican Reef. We weere worried that this (804) studio would feel cramped. It was not a problemm. The beautiful view from the 8 floor was wonderful.. Cable TV and wi-fi excellent. Kitchen and bathroom fine. Beds great. Host responsive. The issues at Pelican Reef are 1. one of the elevators is very unrealiable. My wife was stuck twice requiring rescue and I helped in two other rescues. 2. I came to find out during the 3 day blackout that the large emergency generator only supplies power to the "common" areas, not individual units. Considering Puerto Rico's power issurs, this can be a problem.

No hot water and bad property management

We paid for the pool to be accessible and it was not filtered or working until the final day of 3 days into our stay. We could not use it until about 3 pm. The beach that is listed on the property it not a full sized beach and is mostly rocks. We consistently ran out of hot water, and when we tried to contact the staff, they were not helpful. In fact, we had to handle the situation ourselves by intruding other people’s rooms to fix their breakers. The staff did not do anything or take any initiative themselves. We were not provided extra trash bags and then were told to take the trash out ourselves

Hi Dylan, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: - The building was performing maintenance on the pool during this trip which was, unfortunately, out of our control. We apologize that this impacted your stay. - The beach directly in front of the building is not a public beach and has rocks to prevent erosion. Guests have access to the white sand beach on the side of the building via a key that is provided. - We are very sorry for the issues experienced with the hot water. The electrical company was experiencing power surges in the area during your stay but this has since been resolved and will not impact future travelers. - The staff at the property sends their sincerest apologies for not responding promptly though we ask that guests reach out to the guest contact during their stay for any issues that arise. - Taking out the trash is a typical ask in the vacation rental industry as a part of the departure instructions. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
