What a beautiful house! More than enough room and things to do. Close to staple locations while private enough to feel like we are the only ones around for miles! Communication with owners was fantastic. Check in and check out were a breeze. Would most certainly stay again!

Incredible property!! This is our second time at the property and love how it suits our party of 8. Well equipped kitchen, fantastic game area downstairs, pool/hot tub and a new screened in porch to enjoy the evening, great place for a meal. The pond out back is a nice break from the city. The house is nicely designed on three floors and gives guests a chance to spread out. Amazing host to work with!!

The Time of our Lives

This is the third time weā€™ve rented Front House and it just gets better! The hosts have anticipated every want/need a guest could possible have. From ironed linens to coffee makers in every bedroom, Front House delivers. Are you a bird watcher? Youā€™ll wake up to bird song! Need some privacy? Decks, porches, and game rooms await! It is definitely the best place weā€™ve ever stayed! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway to celebrate the 4th of July

Staying at the Front House has provided so many great memories for our family. There was such a wonderful variety of things to do. We used the pool and the hot tub for hours every day. We played the arcade, pinball machine, fooseball and some poker in the basement. We played basketball, pickleball and whiffle ball on the huge driveway. We caught some fish out back at the pond. We even got to blow off some fireworks for the 4th of July (the first for all of us). On top of all the activities, the house also provided all the amenities we could possibly need so we didn't ever have to leave: wi-fi, beach/bath towels, shampoo/soap, toilet paper, and even charcoal for the grill. The extra fridge in the garage was handy to have and the beds were super comfortable too. Becky and Bob were very accommodating throughout our entire stay and even invited us all over to view their own fireworks display, which was a show stopper. Overall, the Front House is going to be a house our family remembers and talks about for years to come. We hope to be back again soon.

Your very own private resort/lodge

We had our family golf outing this year at this amazing property! The pool/ fishing pond/ Astro turf play area/arcade in the lower level kept the kids HAPPY! and expansive decks off the back made for a resort feel! The incredible property had trails and a large dam made of huge blocks of stone that was lighted at night! We were lucky to experience a good rain on one evening that turned the dam and the woods and creek channels into a Jurassic park feel! I get goose bumps thinking about it! The hosts Becky and Bob were VERY accommodating on our stay! Were already making plans for next yearā€¦Becky,,,,,your the bestšŸ˜˜

NEVER HAD BETTER SERVICE!!!!

I cannot say enough about Becky and Tom....we did not need a thing but the communication was beyond great!!!! I cannot imagine another place being able to top the amenities in this property. We loved every minute from the pool to the decks enjoying our evenings. Thanks so much Becky and Tom!!!!

Wonderful Home with great amenities!

This was our second trip to the Front House. It did not disappoint! We love how clean and comfortable the entire house is. The outdoor space is wonderful and relaxing. Love the hot tub! Great decor and everything you could need to enjoy a week away from home. The host is fantastic to work with and we hope to be back!

Wonderful wooded escape

Our group was 4 couples and 4 young children visiting for the eclipse and a weekend to check-out of the daily grind. The house and property are wonderful--plenty of space to sleep, gather together, or split off for separate activities. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, pots/pans, and some staples, and we took advantage and cooked most nights. The decks and small pond in the wooded property are a great venue for your morning coffee and the hot tub goes well with a nightcap. Fort Harrison State Park is nearby and has playgrounds and a number of trails to explore. Becky is a professional and courteous host. She provided detailed information and recommendations before check-in, communicated promptly, and checked up via text to make sure things were as expected. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it for any large group traveling together.

Work Trip

We stayed at The Front House with 5 co-workers for an event in Anderson, Indiana. The house was amazing, we had plenty of room to team build as well as get away and have private accomodations. It was very clean, had everything thing there you could think of to make the stay perfect! The property is situated between beautiful tall tress and a great pond with fountain. The owners were great to work with and super responsive. We hope to stay at this property again in the spring. We loved everything about the home and our experience there! Thank you for having us!

Best VRBO ever!

This is by far the best family vacation we have had at a VRBO. The host was the sweetest, most helpful host. Beautifully decorated with interesting treasures everywhere. Great pool, games, fishing and we never had a dull moment. Cleanliness is a high priority. I would highly recommend this lovely home.

Love This Place

Wow! This place was perfect for our family! We do a 3-generation family vacation every year, and I have to say, this was my favorite. You have the woods, the fishing pond, (with fountain), you have the poolā€¦and the beautiful house! Whatā€™s not to like! And the host, Becky, was the hostess with the mostest. She was wonderful. Great home and amenities

We were a group of 4 parents with high school age teens in town for a sport tournament. We wanted a home large enough for all to have space but set up for kids to relax In between matches. This home was perfect! It is well cared for and well appointed. The pool area was great, kitchen well stocked, the beds were comfortable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Becky was great to work with.

Great Family Staycation

Found the front house on Vrbo and was stunned to realize it's in Indy...our home town! With two infant grandsons we decided a family staycation was a great idea to try. We were not disappointed. This place is awsome! We had so much fun hanging in the pool, playing lawn games, pinball and cards. The lounging areas are big and comfortable. The kitchen is top notch so we alternated cooking duty. And the charcoal grill made perfect steaks and burgers. Lots of restaurants close by also. Our hosts Becky and Bob were wonderful. If you're travelling or you're close to Indy, The Front House is a great stay.

Fabulous Front House

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed at the Front House. We had so much fun and the house is truly fabulous. It is well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Best Place for large groups in Indianapolis!

Front House is an exquisite property not far from Geist Reservoir. Itā€™s 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms easily accommodate large groups. The retro decorated property is charming, spacious and beautifully appointed. Multiple decks, pool, hot tub and stocked pond add to the fun! Hosts Bob and Becky are the BEST!

Awesome!!

We have done a lot of rentals but this will be at the top of our list. House was amazing but the hosts go so far above and beyond. They provided everything from extra toothbrushes to charcoal, toys and bubbles. From young to older, no one got bored. Swimming, fishing, hot tub, and family time. You have to see this place to believe it but the hosts are just amazing. Please rent ccx the Front House for an unbelievable experience. Thank you Becky and Bob. Our family will be talking about this forever!!
