Located in one of the closest and most luxurious gated community to Disney, Emerald Island Resort!! This luxurious home includes an oversized, south facing pool and Jacuzzi spa with an extra large patio. A great way to relax after a long day at the parks!!

Included with this home are all the resort community features. These include an on-site management and concierge service, two community pools and spa, a tiki bar for drinks and snacks, volleyball, tennis court, cyber-cafe, play area, arcade, sauna, and nature trails for biking and picnics.

This luxurious resort is only three short miles from Walt Disney World, and there are shops, restaurants and supermarkets, all within walking distance.

The spacious and beautifully decorated living/dining room has a convertible queen sofa bed and a fully-equipped Entertainment system. This includes a large screen TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo system all for your entertainment pleasure. Leading from the living/dining room is the upgraded and fully-equipped kitchen, which includes a ceramic top range, side by side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave.

Along with a convenient breakfast bar with bar stools and separate breakfast nook for informal dining with a view of the pool. Everything has been thought of from the Mickey Mouse toaster and waffle iron to the blender for those frozen drinks by the pool. A separate laundry room with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are located just off the kitchen area. If this isn't enough, the garage has been converted to a carpeted games room complete with a pool table, air hockey, Foosball, and TV and PS2 . The games room also has a child size sofa and a table with bar stools for the grownups. The Highlight of the games room is the Wold Cup Soccer Pinball Machine, which is free to play for all guests. Such fun!!

The home has four bedrooms that sleep up to ten people. The Master Bedroom #1 has a queen-size bed, and patio doors that lead directly to pool and Jacuzzi spa, Cable TV, , hair dryer. Master bathroom with separate shower, marble top counter with sink. The second Bedroom also has a queen-size bed with cable TV . Two twin bedrooms each have two twin beds. Each room is specially designed for children, and includes Disney themed decor, Cable TV, DVD player and plenty of toys and games. The second bath has a separate shower/Tub and includes a hair dryer, and all bath and pool towels.

House was as described in the listing. Me, my husband, our 3 kids and my grandma all stayed comfortably here with more than enough room. The kids loved the pool, had a small issue with the spa not getting warm but they were able to fix it quickly. Overall, we had a good stay here and loved relaxing by the pool! Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place and great location.

This was our first time staying in Emerald Isle resorts and we loved it. This house was excellent. The place was super clean and easy check in at the gate and at the house. The pool and spa were perfect endings to our days at the park. We paid the extra for heat and it was worth it. I would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for great house close to everything.

Heerlijk verblijf

Het huis had naast een fijn zwembad ook nog genoeg entertainment in de vorm van air hockey, voetbaltafel, Pooltafel en flipperkast. Het was ruim genoeg voor 8 personen. Emerald Island is een mooi kindvriendelijk resort dat redelijk dichtbij de pretparken, restaurants en shoppingmalls ligt. Een paar verbeteringen: We misten wel wat grote lampen in de kamers en haken om handdoeken en kleding op te kunnen hangen in badkamer en slaapkamers. Servies in de keuken kan ook wat completer. Tot slot kraakten de matrassen enigszins. Maar al met al was het een zeer geslaagd verblijf!

Very happy with our stay

House was very nice! Pool was clean and very warm with the spa heat. Beds were super comfortable after walking around the parks all day. Plenty of towels and sheets. The owners were outstanding with getting back to you ASAP. Communication was amazing. Would stay here again in the future!

Family friendly

The pool and hot tub were obviously great to have with kids. The bonuses also include that it's close to disney and universal, the game room, close to several restaurants and shopping and all around perfect for our family. Great house!

Fun in Orlando

Had an amazing family vacation in Orlando. This house is in a great location to all of the Disney parks. We spent most of our stay at Disney, but while at the house we enjoyed the pool and the game room.

Another Great Stay

Second time staying here for a golf trip and everything was great. Although we don't spend much time at the house as we are on the course all day it was nice to come back and soak in the hot tub for a while. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again!

This property is just okay. We stay in Orlando all the time but this year we werenā€™t going to vacation until last minute and were stuck with ā€œwhat was leftā€. We rented this house and although it was pretty clean, there are zero pans that you can use to cook. There is one skillet that is so warped I had to hold it different ways on the burner to cook the one meal we had in the house. Big issue for my kiddos who love home cooked meals even on vacation, leading us to eat out most of the week. Most everything is outdated and worn; the master shower has the tiniest, old shower head that drips water - very unappealing and disappointing. The plastic plates are scratched and look dirty and worn. The cups are old, the utensils are old and worn and the drawer they are stored in was so gross we didnā€™t attempt to use anything in there. The TV and Internet were shotty at best and everything is on a timer of some sort. You can only run the dishwasher in certain modes and not more than once a day, you canā€™t move the air temp, etc. It was just a bit frustrating for us because weā€™ve been coming to Orlando for 20+ years and never had so many rules for such an outdated property. All in all itā€™s just an okay rental, and probably a bit overpriced for what else is in this housing development.

Family vacation

When arrived very easy check in, and owners very easy work with. Pinball machine did not work but was ok still had pool and air hockey. Pool and hot tub was wonderful after long day at Disney, if looking for clean fun house this is the one.

The blinds looked like missing teeth, ants was taking over the patio but I purchased home defense from Walmart. The tv channels arenā€™t all available, the pinball machine donā€™t work, thereā€™s only one pool stick and itā€™s missing the bumper on both ends, pool table not balanced, the stereo definitely needs an upgrade especially due to the fact I spent money on an aux cord and it still didnā€™t work. I had to purchase my own washcloths.

Short Drive to Disney with a nice pool! Great for families!

We stayed for two weeks at the Mickey house at emerald island resort and had a wonderful time! We stayed with 3 children (under age 6) and two adults! The house was surface-level clean on arrival, some areas of cleanliness were better than others. The fridge smelled strongly of a bleach-scent, which was off-putting for a few days until it dissipated. It was also very clear the garage can wasnā€™t moved when the floors were mopped, because the tile under the can was dirty. The bathroom rugs had definitely not been cleaned / washed in a bit, but we threw them in the washer and refreshed them easily. The pool was really clean on arrival and the pool service came twice to clean it and add chemicals. The pool fence and door alarms were both great safety features to have with young kids, and both worked great! There was no pool skimmer but the owner was super responsive and had us a new one, same day. The pool patio itself could use a power-washing. The kitchen was the most disappointing part of the house for sure. We had planned to cook most meals, but the kitchen lacked typical items needed for cooking. No sheet pans, only 2-3 kitchen tools, none of which were a spatula, and the pots and pans have seen better days. The two griddles were also old and not clean enough to use. The plastic plates are also worn - many with a lot of knife marks and scratches all over them. The glass plates were in good condition - but you canā€™t use those on the patio. The kitchen accessories could definitely use a major overhaul. It did have both a cuisinart coffee pot and keurig pot, which were both clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean, and the sheets and towels were also clean and in good condition. The twin beds and master bedroom furniture and mattresses were nice and comfortable, There were plenty of pool towels in the laundry room which was really great! Overall, we were generally happy with our trip and stay! There was definitely room for improvement in the kitchen, but the location couldnā€™t be beat! We were able to be at any of the Disney parks within less than 20 minutes, traffic included! P.S. watch out for the ice maker in the fridge - itā€™s a little wild! :)

Mickey Mouse House

Home was very clean except in one of the bedrooms we found a bag of chips and shorts under the bed. The internet did not work and I guess due to the location we only had 2 bars on our phones which made it hard to look up things to do in the area. Other than that our stay was perfect.

Perfect getaway

If you are coming to the area I highly recommend booking this home. The host response time is fast! The home is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean! This is a great place to stay when traveling with younger children, fully accommodating and the hot tub is hot! We had a great time and will definitely stay again next time.

Great family vacation home

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It has a great location with easy access to all parks and was very clean. The pool and hot tub are amaizing and my kids really loved the game room. The property manager quickly responded to all of our questions. I highly recommend.
