Beautifully updated condo w/ tile flooring, stainless appliances and flat screen TV's . Panoramic ocean views and private balcony make it easy to enjoy the beach and sunrises. Available by to Luxury Beach Rentals, this 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom suite on the 17th floor and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers a master bedroom with king bed and access to the balcony. The second bedrooms has two double beds, the third bedroom has two twin size beds and living room has a queen size pullout sleeper sofa. Other features include flat screen TVs, washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. the resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quite family oriented section of the beach. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, hot tub all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center, private walkway to the beach, outdoor showers, lobby, luggage carts, free wifi, onsite parking. The resort also features a an onsite restaurant with bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Overall a good stay

It was a great suite for our larger sized group. It was clean. We used the gate code to get into the pool, didnt need wristbands. The beach front was clean also.

Family Beach Trip

The condo was absolutely beautiful and clean. Beautiful views. We had our 3 young grandchildren with us and I don't really like them on the balcony so the floor to ceiling windows were perfect for the kids and my nerves. The location was perfect and family friendly. The only complaint is the wifi and cable didn't work the whole time. I contacted the host but nothing was done. Hopefully they addressed it after we left.

The condo was pretty nice, had a wonderful view from 17th floor. Pools were clean and not crowded. A bar and grill is located on the bottom floor and even though I only got to eat there once it was very good. The folks that ran it seemed like good people. The parking garage is a little tight, but not too bad. The best part about it is the beach access…. So easy…. Even though it is across the street, you have a crosswalk, not much traffic and bam you are on a non crowded family beach.

We ended up staying at another resort they had to offer and we had a great time! Highly recommend Dunes Village Resort for families!!

Beautiful Views of Myrtle Beach

The condo is very spacious and inviting. The views are amazing. Very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals. Would definitely stay again.

Great view

Great Vacation

The condo was updated and in a great location. Easy access to a private beach and just minutes from shopping and restaurants. The property manager provided great service as well. Even though this was in the heart of Myrtle Beach it was still a very quiet and relaxing stay.

Fabulous Beach Vacation

This is a great place to enjoy the gorgeous beach. Access to the beach is so quick and easy and we loved having our meals looking out on the beach from the room. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there is actually 2 and 1/2 bathroom so that each bedroom has it's own bathroom too! We loved our time there.

Lovely Condo

This condo was great. It has great views, the beach is right across the street and the walking/exercise trail was great to have right there as well. The condo has a few maintenance issues to be addressed but overall you will enjoy your stay here.

Enjoyed our stay

Thoroughly enjoyed the month we stayed in this condo. The view was fabulous! Other than a couple minor issues, the condo lived up to our expectations. The rental company was great at responding to any issue. Would highly recommend!!

Location can’t be beat!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. The best part was the proximity to the beach! It was such an easy walk right across the street!! The water views from the condo were also absolutely breathtaking! The TVs had all the streaming channels, for unwinding in the evening. The cookware was well- stocked. My kids loved the lazy river and hot tub! We had a great stay! Pro tip: park on the 4th floor of the parking garage for direct access to the elevator.

Wonderful Place

Great location

Perfect location for us, directly across the street from beach yet close to many of our favorite restaurants. Views from condo were awesome. Only issue was being in a building with about 150 units and only 2 elevators both on same end of building. On another positive, on site restaurant/bar was great with friendly service and reasonable prices.

Forest Dunes Family Vacation - 3 Bedroom Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 5 days at Forest Dunes. We received a text our condo was ready early Monday afternoon. It was almost 1:00 pm. We arrived at 6:00 pm. The toilet in the master suite was not flushing properly. My husband plunged the toilet several times before retrieving a bar of soap out of it. He thought that might have unclogged it. However, it did not. We had to request maintenance to come out. Even after maintenance addressed the toilet issue it was still having issues the next day. It started working correctly by day 3. There was blood stains on the sheets in one of the guest rooms. There was a left over coffee filter with coffee grounds in the coffee pot. These are the only complaints. The condo itself was perfect. Great location, great views, friendly and helpful people. We loved the pool area and bar/grill. We are grateful we had a place that accommodated the whole family.

Location did not match description

My location did not match the description of our destination. I was told that I would receive a partial refund and would receive a call back once a resolution was made with property manager however, I’m sure yet to receive any information or refund.

I was disappointed in how the handle a situation.

The day before it was time to go. I smell like a Sewar smell in the front bedroom. I reported it to the office I spoke to 2 nice ppl Laura and Ashley I believe, and they sent maintenance which he tried to say he had allergies He couldn't smell alot but he identified it as a light smell. They both tried there best to help me the Best way the could. But. The so called owner son was suppose to come. He never showed Nothing no call . I think very unprofessional when you have ppl spending money to have a vacation. The water pressure is bot the best. The place can use a coat or to of paint. But it was not to bad of a stay. I stay on the 17th floor I just think the place could use some updates on certain things.

Beautiful View

The unit is on the 17th floor and you can see everything when on the balcony or just looking out the living room windows. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and the kitchen and living room areas were nice as well. The overall decor was done beautifully. The unit was very clean, which is extremely important to me.Mostly everything was positive but there were some negatives to this specific property. First, the elevators at this complex were extremely slow. Second, this unit was nicely renovated but oddly there are areas of water damage in the bathrooms which deters from the otherwise beautiful space. Third, the air conditioner in this unit is extremely loud. We travel often and it was the loudest I’ve ever experienced. Overall, it’s a really nice and most importantly CLEAN place but there are things that need to be fixed before this unit can really be a “luxury” listing.

Family trip

Our trip was mostly good. The condo was spacious & had a wonderful view of the ocean. It definitely could use a deep cleaning & there were multiple maintenance issues that need to be resolved. The property management company was great to work with. We booked the room a year prior to our trip & every time I contacted them with questions or concerns, they quickly responded. They offered to send the housekeeper & maintenance while we were there. We declined so we could enjoy our vacation without interruption. I would say the biggest issue we experienced at the condo was not being able to easily open the balcony doors. The door from the family room opens easier than the master slider does but still needs attention. The master slider was ridiculous. It needs a better area/handle to grip. I broke multiple fingernails trying to open it. Nothing should be that difficult. Another big issue we experienced was getting locked out of the building after 10pm one evening. We were never told that all exterior doors lock after 10pm. Keep your pool bands with you at all times to avoid this issue. We luckily ran into a very nice couple that let us in but it was frustrating that we were unaware of this. Also, we were only allowed 2 pool bands for our group of 4 but we ran into multiple couples that told us they had 4 in their unit but only needed 2. Definitely some conflicting information. If the maintenance issues are resolved, I would definitely recommend this condo.

Beach Views in a spacious highrise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean with up to date furnishings and had plenty of space for our group. The washer and dryer appeared to be brand new. HVAC was in great working order as were the showers and household appliances. I loved how easy the instructions to operate the cable TV were. I like to be able to come into a unit, push a button get connected, see the local weather, news and especially since the Olympics were on- be able to watch after a hot day at the beach. To come back, relax, and catch up on the local news or not have to sign into a streaming platform which sometimes gets complicated. Kudos for allowing this to be one of the easiest TV instructions at a condo. The linens on the beds were fantastic, crisp and clean but didn't make up for the poor mattress / bed frame support. The front door has seen its better days. (How does a metal door warp and if you're going to replace the lock & keypad why wouldn't you include a deadbolt as originally installed?) I wish I'd have had a portable lock along for added security to place from the inside. The location;to Lyft or Uber to places: 5-10 minutes on average. We were close enough to walk to the hippie beach coffee shop one day. The concierge made it right when our pool bands were not working at the secure gate, they brought us new ones. The pool was refreshing and clean and the spa was relaxing. Neither was crowded. The staff and team members at the resort were pleasant every time we encountered them. The trash dumpsters are located out back of the property beyond the parking garage; past the dog relief area and beyond the smoking area in the alleyway. This location is rather inconvenient. On checkout morning the front desk agent allowed us to put our luggage in a secure area while we went for brunch. This was much appreciated as our flight wasn't until later in the evening. Overall we had a pleasant and satisfying stay in a lovely condo that met our needs with gorgeous views of the beach.

Needs a thorough cleaning

My family and I have been staying at Forest Dunes for years and have stayed in this particular unit quite a few times before. We love the location, the proximity to the beach and other attractions, the convenience of and awesome folks at Buckets Bar and Grill, and the stunning beauty of the seaside in this location. Also, Luxury Beach Rentals have been fantastic to deal with. They are really great! That being said, the owners of this unit, whomever they might be, need to seriously reevaluate and reform their standards for cleaning and upkeep of this unit before I would ever rent it again. To be clear, I'm not one to rant over inconveniences or to be bothered by trifles. That being said, I do have specific expectations, always, but most especially during a global pandemic, of an appropriate level of cleanliness. For example, when we rent a unit, any unit, my family and I always clean/disinfect the obvious areas of use: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom furniture and high touch fixtures. ALWAYS. My mother in law even brings paper each ear to line the shelves in the kitchen cupboards that our dishes will be sitting on. (Overkill? Maybe. But we sleep better knowing it's there.) Imagine our horror to find that the paper we placed there 2 YEARS AGO, before Covid, was still there, happily lining the same cupboard. Why is that bad? Because it means that in all that time and with all that has occurred since then, this unit has not been thoroughly cleaned or disinfected. Also, there were someone's long, nasty hairs clinging to every wall and door in the bathroom that my husband and I shared. There is thick funk along all baseboards and closet doors, the vents have enough dust for God to recreate Adam, and don't get me started on the tub/shower. Just, ew. I hope that the owners will take this post seriously and use it as an opportunity to make needed adjustments in their operating procedure in the future. Your renters notice and care about these things. Please provide the level of cleanliness and comfort that your renters deserve to have, especially for the price they are paying.
