Regarding the ticket booking, our confirmation email—sent immediately after booking—includes step-by-step instructions, a direct link, and the reservation ID required for each guest. This process is typically very straightforward, and we’re always happy to assist if questions come up. We appreciate you reporting the leak during your stay. While unexpected maintenance issues can occur, our team responded promptly and worked to address it as quickly as possible. As for the additional items mentioned, we did not receive any communication about these concerns during your stay. Our team is readily available via the same contact number you were already using, and we would have been happy to quickly resolve or replace items (such as the coffee maker) had we been notified. I pulled our maintenance team’s text records (which is the way that we tell guests they must report issues), and you only reported to them the previous guests left trash in the garage. We again apologize that that happened, but we wish that you would have reported to them about any other issues so that they could also have assisted. We are sure to note in the check-in instructions that all guests are responsible for cleaning the grills. We’re very sorry that the previous guess were obviously very disrespectful to the home which negatively affected your stay.

As one can reasonably understand, it’s impossible to do a deep clean on units that are booked back to back. That is why those are always scheduled in the off-season. Our intention is to create a positive environment for every guest, and we have already spoken to the external cleaning company so that they can absolutely improve their services.

Had we been notified, our team would have sent housekeeping or maintenance over immediately — we’re local and always happy to help. Our cleaners do a great job, but they’re human and can occasionally miss something. That’s why we ask guests to reach out right away if they notice anything that needs extra attention — we can’t fix what we don’t know about. We’ll recheck the items you mentioned to make sure everything is in top shape for future guests.

We're very sorry if you encountered issues, but we're extremely disappointed that this is the first we're hearing that you encountered any problems. A simple text to our maintenance team would have resolved all issues quickly for you, including cleaning and anything to do with the Wi-Fi, while you were out enjoying your vacation. We encourage all renters to reach out immediately if we can assist them in any way, per the Welcome Note we provide in the home as well as on a sticker on the check-in packet, so that we can ensure everyone has a 5 star stay. In addition, we clearly note in the description that the bathtub in the master is not available for use. Having said all of that, as evidenced by all of the other reviews, this is a great house that is well loved.

We are sorry to hear that there may have been challenges with your stay. We wish we would have been contacted during your trip, as many of these items are easy fixes. We strive to deliver a 5-star experience and wish we'd been given the opportunity to address the cleaning issues during your stay, rather than find out about them after the fact in a review. Regarding the palmetto bugs, those are going to happen when we have had as much rain as we’ve experienced in the past several weeks. This home is on a preventative pest maintenance program, and that still can’t always stop them. That said, this home, along with all of the other properties we manage, is scheduled for a deep clean and refresh since the season is coming to an end. As one can reasonably imagine, it’s impossible to do that during the summer between back to back bookings.

We have to say we are VERY confused by this review. After pulling our phone/text records, this guest only reported that the outside trashcan was full and they needed assistance with that. We feel confident that if these major issues existed, we would have absolutely been contacted about them as these guests clearly had our contact info (which is exactly why Vrbo said the same thing). We overshare our info so that guests know they can reach us anytime as the last thing we want any guest to do is clean upon arrival. Regarding parking at the pool area, we make it very clear in the check in information we provide that only guests who rent an oceanfront condo in the towers are allowed to park there. This is because parking is limited but this is also why a resort shuttle is provided at no cost. Having said all of this, we want to again reiterate that guests should always reach out to us, no matter the time, if they encounter any issue at all so that we can help.
