Spectacular Mountain views. Entire first floor of 3,500 sq. ft. luxury home. Large and private 1,300 sq. ft. apartment with your own private Sauna a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes or the lake. 420 friendly but must smoke outside.

Fully furnished 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. Washer, dryer. Large kitchen stocked with all necessities .Full size fridge, dish washer. Private deck and patio with gas grill. There is even a private one acre forest with swings ,table and chairs for your use.
Pack'n play, high chair, booster seat and lots of games and toys to keep the kids entertained.

A short. 25 min. drive (14 miles) ( from Red Rocks Amphitheater for major musical entertainment. 2 miles from public sledding hill and 10 minutes from downtown Evergreen, which has lots of shops . several tap houses, one winery, 3 breweries and live entertainment 6 nights a week.
Within walking distance (1 mile) The Bistro at Marshdale (best restaurant in Evergreen). Massage studio and small grocery store.

A great place to stay.

Beautiful area, very convenient location, close to Evergreen, great hiking, restaurants, and music. Very comfortable place to stay for two and a half months. Lots of Elk and deer.

This house was awesome with fantastic views

We traveled from New York and where very pleasantly surprised as to how great the house and location turned out to be. Everything was as described or better, the host Kitty was great, warm and interested in our stay. The house worked out great for us because we were visiting family in Denver but wanted to experience the real Colorado. We are thinking about staying here again and would recommend this place to others.

Wonderful place and great views!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Kitty was a great host and went out of the way to make us and our kids feel welcome. The place is clean and comfortable and the deck was great to come home to after exploring for the day. Her recommendations on hikes and restaurants were great. Would def recommend. Thanks!!

We stayed for 5 weeks. Kitty was a wonderful hostess and was super responsive. - a faucet was leaking and was fixed almost immediately- the original cot that was offered was broken. It was replaced within an hour. (And my kiddo said it was more comfortable than her bed)The queen bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for my shower, lots of kitchen appliances and utensils for cooking.The kids loved the wooded setting - seeing deer in the driveway and watching for humming birds and butterflies in the garden. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because there was a bit of a large-ant problem during our stay. It was taken care of, but it took a while. Hopefully this won't impact other guests in the future. photos: deer by my car

Beautiful AND Lovely

Kitty is such a gracious host. Made us feel welcome without impeding on our privacy. Four mile deer came through on our last morning. They were not timid at all. We slept in the front bedroom and watched Mount Evans under the full moon. It was beautiful in the morning sun too.

Himmelhaus

We spent one month in the small, studio apartment and then switched to the full-sized apartment for a second month. It was a perfect base for us to spend the holidays near our daughter and her family. The larger apartment also allowed us to have a perfect place for my husband to recover from hip surgery… no steps! Kitty was so accommodating and we thank her for creating a cozy home base for our lengthy visit to Evergreen.

Epic Stay in Evergreen

We loved this location in a quiet, classic Evergreen neighborhood, in the foothills, with stunning views! Location is central to many hiking and biking trails. The property is well appointed with all the essentials. Kitty was an attentive, fun and interesting host! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Kitty is knowledgeable about all things Evergreen and introduced us to favorite trails, restaurants and other activities of interest. It will definitely be my go-to place when back in Evergreen!

The property was well kept and in a nice location with beautiful views.

The property was well stocked with everything we could have needed, including some starters like milk, eggs, bread, cereal, coffee and more. It was greatly appreciated. There was a room with twin beds and they were fine however the queen size bed was a little soft and my husband and I kept rolling to the middle of the bed. It only happened to me once before with a home away property that when I came home unexpected the owner of the property was in the house. When you pay as much as you do for some of these home aways you expect privacy. Other wise we had a lovely stay.

Nice getaway in mountains

This property is nice with some beautiful views and its own little forest area with a great overlook. The property was well furnished with dinnerware and cookware, and had plenty of spices, coffee and snacks. Communication was very good with owner and she provides some nice tips of the surrounding area. A couple of things to be sure to be aware, mattress on the queen bed is very worn and soft and is very hard for 2 people to sleep without rolling back towards each other in the middle, the couch does pull-out but a beautiful (and very heavy) marble table would have to be moved to pull it out - my daughters wound up just sleeping on the L-sofa instead of pulling it out. We didn't see a summer garden as mentioned in the description and, as mentioned, this is the 1st floor of the owners 2 story home, but you are sectioned off from the owner's level with your own private entry. The picture off the balcony is actually the owner's level. There is no AC, which is probably not an issue most of the time, but we did get a couple of warm days in August and forest fire smoke in the area came in through the windows at night. Overall, very nice stay with plenty of great hikes only a short drive and a great restaurant just down the hill. Very good owner communication, clean home and beautiful views from the forest sitting area.

Roomy apartment with mountain charm and views.

Our family of 4 adults loved this apartment which provided nature and activities for the rest of the family while I was working in the city. Our host, Kitty, was gracious, offering a few nice welcoming perks like bread and milk. The place is quiet and private. Since our area was on the ground floor, Kitty was willing to share her upper deck with us, where the very best views are found. This space would also great for families with children. For a mountain retreat, it is fairly easy to navigate for someone with limited mobility. You can drive right up to the door. (Our family member struggles with stairs and there are only a total of 4 steps here... with 3 being very wide steps outside that you could use a walker with.) The location is ideal for nature lovers. You are in the mountains, but with easy access to suburbs and towns (30-45 min for most anywhere you'd want to visit in the area.) I reccommend Evergreen, only 10 min away... so charming. The commute to downtown Denver was about 45-60 min each day. We used Uber a few times in the area and they even came up to the house once... but I would not count on ride-sharing being available to come up during rush hour. I would absolutely stay again and recommend Himmelhaus to others. There is a reason Kitty is a primere partner.

The Getaway I needed.

The place was just what I needed. It was clean and the place was spacious enough for my two friends and I. Kitty was very welcoming, and very responsive. The best part of the stay was the private forest close to the house. The view from the edge of the forest was just breath-taking. This is a place I will be visiting in the future.

Great mini vacation

My husband, 5yr old son, and I enjoyed our stay in Kitty's home. She was so welcoming and friendly. She has plenty of toys for our son and the space way great because it had everything we needed and then some! We loved the views. We definitely recommend!

Fall Break Excursion

The house is in a great location with incredible views. Very close to downtown Evergreen. We could not have been more comfortable. Kitty has thought of everything. She even has a list of restaurants recommendations and activities. We will definitely be back!

We had a most wonderful time at Evergreen Meadows! Kitty was gracious, welcoming and gave helpful recommendations on where to go and sights to see. The house was comfy and had everything one would need for a relaxing, rejuvenating stay. We hope to return!

Clean accommodations with a view.

Kitty is a wonderful hostess, and the view is incomparable. The property is clean and as advertised. The premises could be less cluttered, and provide more surfaces for guest’s effects. A folding suitcase rack for each guest would be appreciated, as would be the ability to open the bedroom windows with ease. But the wonderful aspect of Kitty’s lair is the view from the private front deck which has a retractable canvass awning and a peaceful little waterfall, where I spent many mornings and quiet evenings enjoying the best ambiance that the Rockies have to offer.

Beautiful and convenient

Beautiful location and views in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of animals that my daughter loved seeing. Very convenient to Evergreen, Conifer, and Morrison. We loved every bit of it and Kitty had toys and conveniences for our toddler, which is much appreciated.

(17 miles) from gaming casinos, One hour to major ski areas. Private, peaceful and the most spectacular views in Evergreen. Abundant wildlife and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The many water features on the property attract wildlife, foxes, elk and deer who come for a drink and provide many photo opportunities. Private forest with swings and fantastic view are part of this property. Easy access, from public roads and only 1/2 mile from the public bus stop. Only 3 miles from downtown Evergreen and Evergreen Lake which is stocked with trout. Shopping, restaurants, tap houses a winery and several breweries. Sports activities include ice skating on the lake in winter, sledding hill just down the road a mile, many close by hiking paths, Frisbee golf in the forest, and bowling are all within a 15 min. drive. Evergreen Rec Center has a swimming pool with slide , climbing wall, skate park and work out equipment. 2 miles to public library. Within minutes to the highest driveable mountain road in the country (Mount Evans). will provide you with stunning scenery and many beautiful and challenging hikes. Many public and open space hiking paths in and around Evergreen are just down the road. In the fall, listen to the elk bugling in the early evening. Take a drive with the kids to see "Tiny Town" just 20 min. drive. down the hill to Morrison or enjoy learning to ski at Evergreen's own ski hill only 40 min. away. Have a fabulous dinner at the "Bistro in Marshdale" 1 mile down the road. End the day hiking, or relaxing in the hammocks on your own 1 acre forest, then enjoying in your own private sauna and call it the perfect Colorado day
