Welcome to the Shores Unit 234 at Waikoloa Bo Tree Tower in Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Our condo is located on the Island of Hawaii, on the Kohala Coast. Come and explore our Island of Hawaii, from hike to a waterfall, take a tour of a coffee farms, try many ocean activities, drive up to Mauna Kea snow-capped mountain, then to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you can see how active Kilauea volcano is.

This second-floor unit has partial ocean and golf course views. We have a large wrap around lanai to enjoy the great views with table, chairs and patio recliners. Kitchen has everything you need; master bedroom has a Cal-king bed and a large bathroom with a large tub and walk in shower; guest bedroom has 2 twin beds (that can be converted to a king) and located next to a full bathroom. A queen sofa bed in the living room and another queen sofa bed off of guest bedroom. FREE WIFI AND PARKING.

Shores at Waikoloa has a fitness center, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, golfing and BBQ areas for you to enjoy.
Unit also has golf clubs for your use. You are in walking distance to the Hilton Waikoloa, Anaehoomalu Bay, shops and restaurants.

Kohala Coast Properties has partnered with ResortPass so you can spend the day at the resort of your choice. Go online to see participating resorts, day pass to pools, spa day passes, Luau tickets and ocean activities adventures passes. A discount code will be provided in your welcome letter.

Big Island Family Trip

The condo was clean, comfortable and family friendly. We were with a large family group, all staying in different condos within this community.

A comfortable relaxing retreat.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property in late February and early March of 2024. Initially two others joined us for the first six days of our two week stay. We all enjoyed the condo and found it to be very clean, well supplied and comfortable. The pictures shown accurately portray the conditions we found on arrival. We have rented six other condo units at three other complexes in Waikoloa Beach and this was up to the high standards we expect there. The only criticism is some things like; carpets, window coverings and cupboards are showing signs of wear.The property reservations manager, Michelle of Kohala Coast, was excellent. Very professional, accommodating and readily available. We cannot recommend her highly enough. We will surly contact her first on our next trip to the Big Island.

Our stay was quite enjoyable.

The property is very beautiful and the grounds are excellent. The pool, fitness center and grills got good use from us. The property is close but not too close to the things we wanted to do. Our unit was very nice and clean except for the carpeting. It needs replacing. As a whole, everything was nice and I'd recommend it.

Nice condo/great location

Overall our unit was very nice. Great room sizes except the kitchen which could accommodate just one cook. The lani was roomy with a wonderful view. The kitchen cookware was in terrible shape and needs to be replaced with new and better quality products. Dishes, silverware etc, were adequate. Cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen need to be updated. All in all we were quite happy with the unit and would rent it again,

Condo Needs Major Improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All the appliances are outdated and some are in dire need of repair, detailed in these notes: — There is a note on the clothes washer that the hot and cold water lines are switched, so to wash in cold water you have to set it to “hot.” But you can’t set the rinse temperature, so all rinses are done in hot water.— The air conditioner runs on a timer that can only be set for 4 hours. So you wake up in the middle of the night sweating because the AC has gone off and you have to get up and go into the living room to set the timer for another 4 hours.— The master bedroom toilet exhaust fan comes on with the light switch, and it is so loud that it wakes up anyone who happens to be asleep in the bedroom when it is used.

Perfect location for relaxing

Located in the Waikaloa Beach resort there is everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Condo was very clean. Everything had been there including snorkel equipment. We enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location and great for small families.

This property is exactly as pictured only more so. The second bedroom with twin beds actually has the sofa sleeper in a little bump out and that was perfect for my daughter and her kids. It was like they had their own little suite. The building was quiet and very close to the beautiful pool. We loved having a keyless entry so we could go about our adventures without worries. You are within walking distance of so many things at this location, and having a huge lanai was like adding an extra room. We loved our stay here!

Nice condo in a good location!

We enjoyed our stay at The Shores. We were in the Bo Tree Tower building which is located right by the gated entrance to The Shores. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the lovely pool area from the condo, and the landscaping on this property is beautiful! There is plenty of parking, too. We liked that there are no physical keys to use, rather there are codes to get in the gate, the condo, and the pool. This 2 bedroom condo is very large. The 2 bedrooms are separated by the living room and kitchen. Having the two living areas separated this way helped with privacy. There is a lovely view of the golf course from the large lanai. The unit could use some updating, but that would not stop us from renting here again. Michelle was great to work with, and she answered all our questions quickly. She was a very good communicator! We love The Shores at Waikoloa and hope to come back soon!

Just use codes to access the gate, condo, pool, and gym.The condo is clean and large. It is a little dated but had everything we needed. Plenty of stuff for the beach (boogie boards, towels, chair, cooler, umbrella).Shopping area with restaurants is about a 3/4 mile walk (or drive when you have kids that refuse to walk). A nice beach with a great sunset view is about 1 mile. Close to several great beaches to the North. Overall really good location relative to the beaches and Kailua-Kona.

Quiet complex

This unit is in a quiet complex which is conveniently located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. You will need a car to get to the nearest beach but you can definitely walk to the shops on cooler days. The pool is nice however there is no shallow end for young children. The unit is very spacious and fairly clean. It’s filled with all you need for the beach including boogie boards and toys. A nice getaway for the Family in a quiet complex

Great Location for a Family

This is an awesome spot for a family with young children. The pool is close and really lovely, the rooms are spacious, good beaches for children nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and are keen to come back. The only negative for this condo was that the lights in one of the bathrooms would flick on and off at random times.

Nice place

The unit is very spacious and exactly as described in the listing except for the ocean-view part, you only get to see a glimpse of the ocean, other views are awesome. The location is nice, it's at a walkable distance from King's shop and Queen's market. Checkin and checkout were super easy as well. It had beach towels and some other beach stuff which was very useful. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans, silverware, and dinnerware. Overall we had a nice stay!

The condo included pretty much everything we needed for our one-week vacation, including kitchen appliances and tableware, laundry and dryer, spacious sleeping accommodations and large restrooms, beach gear, towels, and this condo had a beautiful lanai with ocean and mountain views. I would definitely rent this particular unit on my next visit to Hawaii. Everything was so easy renting this unit, from the actual rental to checking out and everything in between.

Beautiful Area

The grounds around this unit were breathtaking and very well maintained! The view from the balcony was beautiful as well! We had a few small issues with the unit itself but management was easy to get ahold of and took care of the issues to the best of their ability. There was also beach equipment in the unit which was a huge plus but some of it was in rough shape so check out what is there before renting extra beach stuff. The pool was great too! I’d recommend this unit to friends & family for sure!!
