Great stay in a spacious house in Tuscany. Lots of space and beds. Host and housekeeper communicated well. There were a few hiccups but our host and housekeeper were able to communicate with us and help fix the issue quickly. The pool was the most popular space in the house! Would recommend for large families looking for a short drive to Florence and other near by towns.

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! Our group of 13 had plenty of space—both to gather together and to spread out comfortably—so it never felt crowded. The views were absolutely beautiful and really made the experience feel special. We were there during a particularly hot week, and the pool was such a welcome highlight. It was the perfect way to cool off and ended up being a favorite spot for everyone. The location was also a big plus—easy access to Florence made day trips simple and convenient. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and we appreciated being able to meet the host in person, which made everything feel even more welcoming.Overall, a fantastic property for a larger group. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay

Plenty of room and beds to comfortably sleep out group of 13. Had some issues w AC the first night but other than that the property was great for us. Pool is very nice. Had the chef cook for us one night and that was great eating out on the back deck. Views were great and access to Florence and wine regions was great. Temps were lovely in late May, mid 70s

I find unfare to eliminate one star because of the Ac problem. This problem was due to the strong storm which happened before the client’s arrival and the electricity cut out in the all area We do a lot of work to please our clients who should understand that climate in not under our control. I wish I could eliminate this comment.

The location is beautiful and convenient. The owner was very responsive. The A/C had to be repaired in 2 rooms, but it was also a very hot week. We did not have enough towels at first, but they responded well and fixed that problem. We had two meals provided by Livia and Tim, who lived in the same cluster. They were AMAZING!!! Highly recommend them. The truly Tuscan food was made from their garden and their olive oil. They were the highlight of our stay. The children spent a lot of time in the pool, which was a real relief from the heat. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa. One last issue was that the woman across the street had dogs who barked a lot. They woke us up many mornings. Thank you for sharing your lovely villa.

Thank you for your review… unfortunately we didn’t reach the 5 stars because of some technical accident due to the particularly hot weather. Regarding the towels we provide #2 towels for person which has always been enogh for all our previous guests! What you forget to mention is that you asked for towels for the pool which normally we don’t give as specified in our site. But we gave the guardian immediately the order to buy them for you!!! You don’t seem to appreciate the efforts done for you and your group.

Property was as described (and in fact the pool was even better than the pictures!) Check in with the guardian of the property was very straightforward. Slight issue with aircon in one of the rooms but this was resolved by an engineer. Rita also provided some recommendations that were excellent, particularly the chef who cooked on our final night.

Beautiful Villa in the Tuscan Countryside

Beautiful home both inside and out. Beautiful views. Relaxing country estate. Perfect for family gatherings. Kitchen very well appointed. The owner and guardian of the villa are terrific - very responsive and readily available. They are eager to ensure a pleasant stay. The villa is on a limited access road which allows you to feel fully immersed in the Italian countryside. This villa is even more than as advertised and we had a wonderful stay,

My family and I stayed the week at the lovely villa in Oleandro. The property was beautiful and a perfect location to explore Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside! The villa is remote with typical narrow roads, but unique in that it is part of a smaller community with an old chapel and is surrounded by olive groves. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every afternoon and ate family dinners on the serene patio where we could enjoy the amazing Tuscan sunset. Rita, the property owner was very helpful and responsive and Marisol the caretaker was readily available to assist and answer any of our questions. We would happily return to this beautiful property in the future.

Spectacular!

What a memorable week we had in this house! We’ve never before been in an historic house with a chapel – fascinating! We were 7 adults (grandparents, siblings and spouses) and six grandchildren (ages 6-11). We easily survived the heat wave by making good use of the generous pool and the large cool house. Side trips to Florence (early in the morning!), Pisa and even to the beach were no problem. Easy contact with Marisol for any questions. A successful family vacation!

Zeer fijn huis.

Exceptionnel

Perfect for our large family.

We brought our children and their children for a once in a lifetime trip together to Italy. We began planning our trip Christmas 2018 to take place summer 2020. Well no one traveled anywhere that year. But it happened this year, 2022! We were more than pleased with Rita and Bernard's villa. Location was perfect for all the things we wanted to see in Tuscany! There was lots of space for everyone , kitchen was well equipped, we ate our meals together at the large table outside, and had fun in the large pool after a hot day sightseeing. Food shopping was easy to find. If you are looking for a lovely villa to accommodate a large group, this is it!

Beautiful location in Tuscany

This house is in the middle of Tuscany surrounded by olive groves and has a fantastic pool area. The house is large and has a perfect terrace area for enjoying meals and relaxing. We had some issues calling for a taxi but then were told we should download 'AppTaxi' and, once we did that, it was easy. Marisol, the manager, was great and very responsive to whatever we needed. She prepared a dinner for us one night that was fantastic.

Beautiful old house in the countryside of Firenze

Great house for cheap holiday for 20 people but the house was not clean enough, too furnished of personal belongings, there is a huge problem of mosquitoes. But the overall stay was wonderful, we could be 20 people without feeling one on the other.

Viva La Villa

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Villa with stunning views, the perfect location for Florence and in our case a wedding at Villa Corsini a short drive away. Rita organised everything wonderfully well, we had provisions on arrival (pre booked) and a delightful Lasagne cooked by the very helpful housekeeper who also later in our stay doubled up as chauffeur ferrying us all home safely from the wedding in the early hours. We had an amazing time and would wholeheartedly recommend this Villa

Great Place with Privacy near Firenze

We loved the place. A little difficult to find (initially). This gave us privacy. It was also close enough to Firenze to be parked and in town in less than a half an hour. Air conditioned bedrooms allowed sleeping even when it was over 80F. We spent a week and would have loved to spend a longer time. The wonderful pool was a welcome on days that were over 90. High ceilings in the living room with lots of space made it very comfortable. Was very clean and well maintained. I recommend this great place to families a group of good friends . Loved it.
