Beachcomber Bungalow is "1920's" style beach cottage located in the southern neighborhood of downtown Seaside, Oregon on the majestic North Coast. This dog-friendly home is located in close proximity to the beach and promenade, as well as the community park. Hamilton's Market (the neighborhood grocery store) is right around the corner. Your family will enjoy all the excitement the town offers while vacationing in your own simple and cozy paradise. Take serene walks on the seashore, bicycle to the arcade and shops on Broadway, have a nice evening relaxing in the hot tub, and much more.

Description of Home:
Beachcomber Bungalow is a 1920's single-level beach-style cottage. This home has been nicely updated with simplicity and a cozy beach theme for those who enjoy the simple things that life offers.

*3 Bedrooms/ 2 Bathrooms- Sleeps 7 in beds
*Room 1 - King Bed + Twin Rollaway (sleeps 3)
*Room 2 - Queen Bed (sleeps 2)
*Room 3 - Queen Bed (sleeps 2)
* Open living styled dining and living area with candle lit fireplace.
* Nice, simple, and modest though fully equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare all your meals and store your groceries.
*Private and enclosed back yard with an open patio area, BBQ, and hot tub.
* The front yard is private and enclosed by lush hedges that give the home a serene and cozy feel.

Dog fee in the amount of $15/dog/night, not to exceed 2 dogs with a $30 minimum/dog. Any additional fees owed will be added after booking. Dogs must be at least 1 year of age and spayed or neutered. The contract will note the full requirements.

Everything about this place is nice! The mud room made it easy having dogs this vacation all the appliances were clean an in good working order the house was very clean and every thing we need was available. We were close to the beach a small market and great restaurants Billy Mac’s Mexican Grill next door was excellent. There was a wonderful breakfast cafe was so good! We travelled up and down the coast New Year’s Eve beautiful weather. The location was far enough away from the down town and in a very cozy neighborhood that gave us and our dogs a chance to relax all day on New years!!!! Will rent again this summer if available …

Property was in great shape, kitchen was a little small, but plenty of utensils and cooking instruments for a wonderful stay. Great location and the hot tub was awesome. Overall, loved the place.

Excellent experience for multi age family. Super clean and welcoming. Great communication throughout the rental process. Very close walk to beach access. Kitchen is small like the photos but fridge is large. Plenty of living room seating for the 6 of us. Enjoyed the hot tub. Liked the little entry sun porch for taking off shoes. Wide variety of tv channels including Disney. Would like to have stayed longer, maybe next time. Definitely recommend for its cleanliness, location, friendly owners, nice accommodation.

I'll provide the pros and cons, but won't stay here again. The Pros-Location is in a quiet area, near 2 great restaurants, and beds are comfortableThe Cons- House wasn't clean- the floor was filthy and garbage was still in the bins even though I was told I had to take it out, host required intrusive personal information about guests that was unbeknownst to me at time of booking, code to hot tub didn't work, was only there a total of 2 nights and was asked multiple times for the exact time we would leave, you'll hear the restaurant wind down activities each night which is quite loud and then you'll hear people riffle through the recycling bins of the restaurant and house to collect recycling early in the morning, house cleaner walked into the premises before the check out time. It was an expensive and cumbersome experience for the 2 nights and will stay elsewhere for our annual trip next year.

The cottage was charming and very comfortable for our party which included a 10-year-old and a 90-year-old. We loved how close it was to the beach and there was a sand mat our elder could walk out to go see the ocean. Making meals was very easy since the market was just around the corner. Walking the dogs was delightful because the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The area is just a bit removed from the touristy downtown, which suited us just fine.We slept very well. The mattresses were delightful - I wish I had that type at home. Also, the living room furniture was extremely comfortable, and I also want to replicate that at my house! It was a perfect living room for reconnecting with family. The rest of the layout of the house worked very well for us as well. We would definitely choose this home when we returned to the area.

Seaside Friends

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely house. It was a perfect setting for friends to connect. A lot of thought went into the decor - perfect beach theme! The first day was a a bit drizzly but we sat outside under the patio roof and watched a pair of house sparrows investigate and work on building a nest in the cute bird house. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful house

Perfect house. Next door to the beach, restaurants, and a little market. Perfectly cleaned, stocked and spacious. Hot tub was a perfect start and end to everyday! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Owners were very communicative and so helpful. 10/10

Winter Getaway

This home was warm, clean and comforting. It was very cold in seaside the week we went, but this home is conveniently located 2 blocks from the beach, so it was an easy walk back from the beach in the cold to a warm house. The hot tub was clean and hot, but the jets didn't work very well. It didn't stop us from enjoying it. Wifi worked well so my kids could game. Overall, we had an amazing experience even though we reluctantly had to leave a bit early because of a winter storm. We would love to stay again!

Comfortable getaway spot

We had an enjoyable stay at this cute rental. The high points were: comfortable beds, proximity to some great food spots and a market with many healthy options, TV/Streaming options, a kitchen with bases covered, nice towels, and a full Brita pitcher for good water. Unfortunately, the ping pong table and hot tub didn't much get used, due to poor weather. Please note that the fireplace isn't to be used for fires; we missed that and were hoping for a cozy fire. Great communication from the hosts. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great getaway

We spent the Christmas holiday here and it was wonderful. The property was super clean and even had a Christmas tree set up. The kitchen is small, but quite workable. Lots of stocked amenities in great condition. Communication with host was fast and easy. Proximity to beach and town made this a perfect getaway for our family

Annual trip.

When we arrived, the furnace had gone out. We texted Malia and everything was repaired within two hours. We greatly appreciated that! We love the house and location. Thanks for being such great hosts.

Malia was raised in Honaunau, Hawaii in a little town south of Kona. We love raising our daughter Pualani on the lovely Oregon Coast. Our business area includes Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach & Arch Cape. We enjoy walking around the beaches year-round, swimming in the creeks during the summer warmer months, or surfing. Some of our favorite hiking spots are Oswald West and Ecola State Park from Crest beach to Indian beach. Everywhere we go we see someone we are connected to. From going to the post office, grocery shopping, having a meal, or just shopping. Which is why we started our business Kukui House Services here. Kukui means “light” in Hawaiian. Kukui “Light” House Services. We help owners with their rental or private home, and our guests so they experience a wonderful stay. Our clients tell us we are friendly, have quality cleans, and are responsive.
