DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to our beautiful beach paradise. Pelican Isle Resort, Unit 317 offers a direct, third floor view of Florida's magnificent Emerald Coast. Stretching from Destin to Pensacola, the emerald green waters of the Emerald Coast are unique only to this area. Crystal clear water bordered by the powdery sugar-white sands, also found only in this region, make Okaloosa Island a very exclusive vacation destination for beach lovers. Your family will love the experience, and will not soon forget the beauty of this Florida rental.This beachfront, 1 bedroom unit will sleep up to 6. The spacious floor plan is perfect for a week away from home, with room for each family member. The King master bedroom has a private full bath, tv, with dvd player. Custom hallway bunk beds are perfect for adults or children, and there is room for 2 on the living room' full size murphy bed. A second full bathroom, and a private washer and dryer make this a great unit for any family of 4-6. The full kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a private balcony with table and chairs for a relaxing view in the breeze. Beach Chairs (1 set of 2 chairs and umbrella) are included with each day of your stay from March 1 through October 31.

You will be within 6 miles of Destin and Harbor Walk Village. Shopping, dining, and activities for everyone are also nearby. Enjoy scuba diving, deep sea fishing, para sailing, jet ski tours, dolphin tours, sunset cruises, pier fishing, snorkeling, boating, kayaking, surfing, bungee jumping, go karts, putt-putt golf, and much more. Stay with us in Pelican Isle 317 and you immediately see why you will be back again.

This property is professionally managed, which ensures that you will receive friendly, professional service from reservation to departure. Your vacation accommodations will be clean and functional. We are local and provide same day assistance, and If you need anything during your stay, you can be assured that our courteous staff will be happy to assist you in any way.

- Check-In 4pm, Check-Out 10am
- Completed and signed Rental Agreement must be received within 24 hours (via email)
- Vehicles are limited to passenger vehicles only. No RVs or Trailers

Beautiful view

Very nice condo with an amazing view! Kitchen was fully stocked that was very nice! My kids really enjoyed the hallway bunk beds as well.

Pelican isle unit 317

Property was clean, plenty of supplies and was our home for 2 weeks. Washer and dryer made it easy to return home with very little dirty laundry. Beautiful beach, and beach service was awesome.

We love this condo. Perfect for my husband and I. We need two bathrooms and the murphy bed is perfect for when my snoring runs my husband off. This is a well maintained property. We have a new favorite now!

Great!

We stay on Fort Walton every year in July but we needed an emergency get away. Booked this the Monday before we left and had a wonderful time. Always a great time. No beach toys and no backstock of spices (even salt and pepper) but not a big deal. Beach chair service guys were awesome. Thanks again!!

We have enjoyed this condo a few times. We like that it has high chairs/table on the balcony. The recliner in the living room is a plus, and we found the kitchen to be better stocked than most. It had some decent nonstick skillets, and plenty of utensils. We also like that there is an empty cabinet where we can keep our grocery items. The unit was clean, and the staff at Sunset Rentals was helpful and courteous.

Awesome location and view!! Unit shows age and could use some updating but overall wonderful stay! Previous reviews said chairs and sand toys in unit but there were none, little disappointed since didng bring those but made do. Definitely need BIGGER tvs. Even on vacation my boys like to watch some football and could hardly see on living room tv. Would definitely stay here again! We had a great week!

Spring 2022 Florida Trip

Everything at Condo was fine. We were not able to use the pool and hot tub for the first week due to painting on front of complex. We are expecting a price reduction due to this but that was not a Sunset Resort Issue per se. The condo was well equipped and stocked as described. It is nice furnished and very clean. The master bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoy the location…..great views and a great beach. We look forward to our trip back next year.

Feels like 2nd home

Having stayed in this condo once before, it felt familiar and comfortable, like an old friend. Yes, it is somewhat dated but it felt very clean as we walked in. The location is so good. Had trouble locking the slider so called Sunset and the came out same day. We have always rented thru Sunset and they are always helpful and responsive and if there has been a problem, they have made it right. 317 is stocked with all we need as far as dishes, pots and pans, paper products and towels. My only company would be that 2 hangers is not enough and we're always short on the hand towels.

Clean property, great view but....

No one could tell me what kind of coffee pot was in the unit. No salt and pepper. Never experienced that. Beautiful view! But the building was doing VERY noisy reconstruction and no parking in the garage. We should of been informed of that and let us make the decision to put up with the noise. Offer a price reduction to stay despite the ongoing construction!

Inaccurate check out time. Got locked out

First and foremost, the stay overall was good. The unit is rather outdated, but we just needed somewhere to lay our heads at night, so no big deal...but here's where my issues start, check out time clearly states 10am. We took our bags down to the car around 915am, and were going to come back up just to look the room over one more time, to insure we got all of our things. Only to find that the door code was changed at 920am. Both of our cell phones were inside of the room charging. So I had to go find a maintenance worker for help. Luckily, I didn't leave my paperwork in the room showing proof I rented the unit. Because he wouldn't have been able to open the door with the master key and we would've had to wait around all day for housekeeping in the hot and humid Florida weather. Thank goodness it didnt come to that. Even with all this trouble, we still got all of our things out before 10am. Tips to future renters: Remember to leave one person in the room while someone else takes the bags to the car. Beause these professionals will program the door code to change before check out time. It's a shame really, because check in is so late in the day (4pm) but check out time is so early (10am). With that being said, I fully expect to have up until my check out time to clear out of the rental. I paid for that. Things could've been a lot worse, imagine if someone left their newborn sleeping in the room and came back to find the door locked. Property management, please do better. 10am means 10am. Not 9:03, not 9:15. It means 10:00 am. Totally unprofessional.

Wonderful Stay at Pelican Isle

Unit 317 was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need, even 2 coffeemakers! The bed was comfy, and plenty of linens were provided. Will definitely consider staying here again
