Welcome to your perfect lakefront getaway on Smith Mountain Lake! This waterfront home offers stunning, quintessential lake views from nearly every room. The gently sloped point lot provides easy, step-free access to TWO docks and the water.

With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the home comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests (2 Kings, 1 Queen, and a Twin over Full bunk). The spacious open floor plan features cathedral ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. The attached sunroom, with wall-to-wall windows, is ideal for sipping morning coffee or enjoying scenic conversations.

The lower-level living area boasts a bar, pool table, and sliding glass doors leading to a lakeside patio with a gas grill and outdoor seating. Relax by the fire pit at the waterā€™s edge, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars. Each bedroom, as well as the great room and lower-level lounge, has a TV.

Additional amenities include a high chair, pack and play, board games, cornhole, and WiFi throughout. Linens are provided. A 7-night minimum stay is required in summer, with a 3-night minimum during other seasons. Outdoor security cameras are located at the front door and back patio for your safety.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving in this house. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking the large meal and the dining area has plenty of room for all. The house has multiple common areas, so there is plenty of room to be together with family or to find a bit of privacy. The view of the lake from the front room is beautiful.

Wonderful house with beautiful lakeside views and well-supplied. The rooms are mostly very large, the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought kayaks and paddled around from the dock. It was a great mini-vacation!

This was our second year staying at this house, and we will definitely be back! The location is perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the lake. The game room is a huge plus and kept everyone entertained during our stay. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking, making it easy to prepare meals without having to bring extra supplies. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and make family memories at Smith Mountain Lake!

Nice Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay. The house while a little dated is fully functional. Plenty of space for all the guests.The boys enjoyed the game room downstairs. Outside is where the house shines. Great views from fire pit, nice setup under sunroom, big dock and cool slide!

Great house!

Our second year staying at this property A fantastic location well furnished with supplies flat area for lawn games, cove area for swimming/relaxing and extremely close via boat to Bridgewater marina. Kim is a great host would highly recommend.

Great location and house

3rd year staying here..love it! Close to gas for the water toys and corner lot allows for awesome sunsets from the dock. Owner is super responsive..house is perfect, well stocked kitchen and have flat area near water is great for playing games. Made great use of covered patio during rain storms. Looking forward to our next trip!

Our stay at Popsy's Point was wonderful! The house was clean and comfortable. The view from the sunroom and deck was beautiful. It was great to not have to go down any stairs to the dock! It's 15 minutes by boat from the Marina. And go upstream 15 minutes and you have prime sunset viewing! Although, just relaxing on the dock also gives you a gorgeous sunset! The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and ziplocks, towels, etc. We enjoyed the pool table. Popsy's Point would also be a great place in fall with the fire pit and plenty of wood! Positively recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!

An active boating area. Watching the float plane touchdown and takeoff was exciting. Hanging out Lakeside in the mornings in the evenings was nice. The house has good spaces, a complete laundry area, and a well set up kitchen.

A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's SML property! It was a perfect set-up for our family and we enjoyed the beautiful views! Kim is a great host and is incredibly hospitable. There were a few minor things out of Kim's control that we wish were a tad better (some areas of the house that we had to clean upon arrival and high wake on the docks that made swimming and docking difficult), but we would definitely stay again! Kim is a super responsive host and nothing beats the view!

Perfect in every way

This is our third time at this property, and it truly has become our "home away from home." Every detail is attended from the linens to the kitchen supplies to the welcome bottle of wine. Kim, the property owner, is the best! She is always accommodating and responsive to our needs/requests. The lake-front location couldn't be better. We plan to return!

SML Vacation 2015

My family and I just returned from a week long relaxing stay at this property in Smith Mountain Lake. The property was exactly as the photos depicted and it is right on the water. It is clean and well kept with a beautiful view of the water and not far from the main channel of the lake. We rented a boat and explored one end of the lake to the other, which I would recommend to anyone going to SML. We kayaked all over the coves close to the property. We hope to return to Smith Mountain Lake often and would definitely rent this beautiful home again if available. My only suggestion would be that there be linens and towels included in the stay.

We Had. A Great Stay!

The kids and I had a great time at Popy's Point! The house had everything we needed, especially the kitchen! All of the beds were comfortable, to include the trundle bed in the front room. Wifi was strong enough to support 3 kids attending class online. We had a lot of great family time playing pool and ping pong in the basement and enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit down by the lake. Location on the lake is great! Definitely a picturesque point...beautiful sunsets and deer in the yard every morning. Also a short boat ride to Bridgewater Marina when I didn't feels like cooking. Kim was easy to reach and very helpful. We'd definitely stay again!
