This spacious fully air-conditioned three bedroom 1st floor apartment has ground level access and amazing uninterrupted views across Kalkan Bay. Uniquely for the much sought after Mediterranean Gardens complex this 1st floor apartment consists of two 1 bedroom apartments joined during construction through an archway to form a 2 double bedroom, 2 bathroom, and study/single bedroom apartment all on one level, with a separate kitchen and 2 large balconies with sea views. All beds and sofas in the apartment are extremely comfortable, specially ordered to UK standards. Zakkum apartment is ideally located beside the village centre, only 2 minutes level walk away from main shops, banks, post office, etc., yet in a peaceful location overlooking olive groves and Kalkan Bay. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a choice of 5 well maintained pools, surrounded by attractive drystone walling and an abundance of flowers and foliage, all maintained to a very high standard by two full time staff. WiFi Internet throughout the apartment. Beach towels provided.

We loved this spotless apartment. It had everything we needed including a Welcome pack which was appreciated as we arrived so late. Yasar was very helpful and also Yousif the caretaker. We had our two granddaughters with us and they didn’t want to leave! The location is great really close to restaurants, supermarkets, harbour and shops. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Lovely Kalkan.

This was our 3rd stay in this apt. Absolutely beautiful, from fully stocked kitchen to comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Tastefully decorated and you wont find another view like that in a hurry! 2 decent sized balconies. Very close to all amenities, 2- 3 minutes on flat if needed cross school playground. 5-10 minutes down hill to harbour passing loads of restaurants and quirky shops. Thank you Adrian and Jane

Amazing

First time in Kalkan. This apartment was perfect, fantastic location to walk into the centre of Kalkan.Adrian the owner was brilliant to communicate with, and super helpful arranging transfers to and from the apartment to the airport. The apartment was very clean had absolutely everything you could want in it, plus handy extras like UK adaptors.Would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous apartment.

Fantastic two week family holiday

Second stay at Zakkum apartment. Great location, close to all amenities. The apartment is clean, light, and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The views from the apartment are picture postcard! The hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating. Hope to stay there again soon!

Such a great holiday

We had a lovely time in Kalkan and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Everything was as we expected. Amazing flat with amazing views and great location!

This our fourth stay in this lovely flat, and we can’t wait to go back again! Everything about our holiday in Kalkan and particularly about this flat is excellent! We stayed for three weeks and it is like a home with everything we need provided for, the owners are very helpful and we are also looked after well when we are there. The pools, the proximity to all amenities and the view from the balcony make this the perfect holiday place for us! Thanks very much Adrian and Jane!

A lovely villa with stunning views of Kalkan bay

Another lovely stay. Very clean and quiet appartmemt block. Very near to town with a variety of beaches. All are man made. Sea is calm and beautiful to swim in. Fed from a cold water spring.. appartmemt itself is of a high standard. New bathrooms and kitchen since my last stay in 2018. Will definitely return

Excellent stay in Kalkan

Great, prompt communication with Adrian. He organised all of our transfers which were excellent. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. We were working remotely for 2 weeks and there was plenty of space for us to work from our laptops, even when my parents arrived for the 2nd week. Kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked several times, even baked a cake! The property manager couldn’t be more helpful. The apartment is in an excellent location. Close to everything you might need. Can’t fault our stay.

Comfortable, spacious apartment in perfect location

The apartment was an excellent place to stay for our second holiday in Kalkan. The beds were very comfortable and the choice of air conditioning and overhead fans to keep us cool was very much appreciated. The owner has provided pretty much everything you would want for a very pleasant stay including a large water cooler. There are wonderful views and the complex has beautiful, well kept gardens and a choice of well maintained swimming pools. The location is perfect for a short stroll into Kalkan and you have everything you need on your doorstep including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, banks, taxis etc. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Adrian also for the very speedy and helpful communication.

First trip to Turkey (Kalkan)

Beautiful apartment in a lovely setting- better than photos. 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms (so both couples were happy). We didn’t use the single. Kitchen is fabulous, everything you need. Having own sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool was a plus. We never got tired of the sea view and although a pebbly beach the water was lovely and clear for a dip to cool off. Everything is in walking distance from the apartment, shops, supermarkets, cafes, bars, restaurants, harbour and beach. Kalkan is very pretty with cobbled streets, friendly banter from restaurant owners as you wander down hill (the walk back up burning up some calories from beautiful meals). From start to finish, the communication and information from Adrian made us feel very confident that we were booking the right place. Thank you for letting us book your beautiful apartment.

Perfect location

We've just returned after a 16 night stay in Zakkum apartment. It was our first time in Turkey and I hope it won't be our last. Adrian and Jane were really helpful prior to departure; they arranged our airport transfers and car hire and always replied promptly to any questions we had. The apartment itself is in a lovely location, both in terms of the Mediterranean complex, and Kalkan. It was very well equipped, with many "extras" including a juicer and coolbag (so useful to take on car journeys). We also thought it was a lovely touch that there were postcards in the apartment. Kalkan was lovely, although tourist numbers were down by 50-70% and this meant that the numerous restaurant owners were quite tenacious in trying to win business. The plus side was that prior booking wasn't essential, as I gather it can be usually. We liked the beach clubs and took three boat trips, all of which were excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much for our stay!

Beautiful Kalkan,wonderful apartment .

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous, the views from the front terrace are simply stunning and we never got bored of looking at them. The gardens and pool areas are beautiful and so well kept.Property itself is so spacious, immaculate and well stocked with everything you need on holiday.Beds are very comfy and the showers/bathrooms are modern and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you would need including a washing machine .The pools are lovely and there are sun beds and umbrellas for each apartment so no problem getting one in the morning. Kalkan itself is such a wonderful place, so many bars,restaurants ,cafes and shops within walking distance of the apartment that you are spoilt for choice ,it also has a cute beach with water sports if that’s your thing. The people are so friendly and welcoming and being animal lovers it was lovely to see how well the local cats and dogs were treated. Can’t believe it took us so long to visit this amazing place, we loved everything about it,had the most wonderful time and will definitely be back and will be hoping to stay at this gorgeous apartment again. Can’t recommend this place highly enough,from start to finish it was absolutely perfect.

A fantastic apartment!

This is the second time we stayed here and it did not disappoint…in fact the apartment has been updated and is even better! Great location, so quiet some days we had the pool to ourselves. Adrian was great at communicating and was a fantastic host! We love Kalyan and would definitely return to this apartment.

We had lovely holiday- apartment was great very comfortable and the view was fabulous.

Excellent communication from owners, any problems quickly dealt with. Apartment is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to some excellent restaurants and bars. The apartment was vey well equipped and clean. The welcome package on our arrival was very generous and much appreciated. We would definitely consider returning in the future- highly recommend 😊

Fantastic Apartment in a great location.

This was our 4th time visiting Kalkan and this apartment was the best by far! Great location, amazing views and well equipped. Five of us shared the apartment and it was fab! The pool was lovely and it was great always knowing we had our own sun beds. A five minute walk into town was brilliant and despite the closeness to town, the apartment was never affected by noise!! Adrian and Jane were great from the start of the booking, even sorting out our airport transfers. Thank you so much, we had a fantastic holiday in your apartment.

Wonderful Kalkan apartment

Perfect location, beautiful apartment and pool. Spacious, clean, Yasar and Ibo were always on hand if we needed anything. Grounds and pool area were kept immaculately - would highly recommend.

Great apartment great views lovely pool

Great location. Been to Kalkan 7 times and this development is the nearest you can get to the town and have a pool. In fact 5 pools. I had to spend a night in the 3rd bedroom. It is only a child’s bed but you could mistake it for an ordinary bed. The living room terrace is completely taken up with the dining table, given that most people go to Kalkan for the eating out experience. Even if the table wasn’t there the lovely views of the bay would only have been available if you remained standing due to the overgrowth of flowers. The only thing really that let the apartment down (this is maintenance people fault) the whole development is overgrown with the creeping flowers. They are lovely but need looking after. Having said that we enjoyed our stay. Well equipped well serviced clean apartment. Gorgeous pool and nice neighbors. We would certainly return Robert Sim

Thank you for your constructive review. The bougainvillea does grow very profusely during the Summer months, throughout the development, sorry you found it out of control. We will take this up with the gardeners. The study/single bedroom has a sofa bed 6’10” x 2’8”, our family members and guests have found it perfectly comfortable. Pleased to hear that otherwise you enjoyed your stay.

Great apartment lovely location.

The apartment is well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Great views of bay. The complex is clean with colourful and well kept gardens. Pool area is quiet and easily accessed from the apartment. Kalkan town is on the doorstep with numerous good restuarants, bars and shops. The harbour is about a 5 minute walk along a very steep hill, which can be avoided if you detour on foot through the old town which only takes a couple of minutes longer. I recommend the apartment and to visit Kalkan.

Great apartment with stunning views and fantastic location

This is our third time in Kalkan but our first at this apartment. We would definitely recommend it as it has the best location and no need for a hire car as everything is on the doorstep. The views are fantastic and although it’s a central location it’s very quiet. The pool is clean and flowers are beautiful. The apartment has everything you need. A welcome pack of bread butter jam juice milk tea coffee fruit crisps cheese eggs etc meant we didn’t have to run to the supermarket on arrival. There are loads of DVDs and books and even a sewing kit!!! Adrian the owner was very quick at replying to emails and organising airport transfers and the agent in Kalkan was on hand for anything we needed. We will definitely return. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. We loved your apartment.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Purchased new from developer in 2004.
We chose this location because of its close proximity to the village and the outstanding view from the balcony. We have not seen a view to better it anywhere in the world.
We bought 2 apartments and knocked them together at the planning stage to provide a good sized three bedroom 1st floor apartment to share with family and friends.
We have been doing just that for the last 14 years and will continue to do so, but feel it is time now to let others enjoy it when we are not there.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We enjoy the friendly atmosphere amongst the residents of the Mediterranean Garden apartments as in the rest of Kalkan.
It is rarely overcrowded and we never tire of that view.
The combination of the two apartments provides considerably more space for 4/5 people than the Duplex apartments on the same complex.
