2BR Adorable Creekside Condo in Charlevoix, walking distance to Ferry Beach

Cozy, convenient close to town and beaches, just a block from boat launch and Ferry Beach Park.
This 2 bedroom 2 bath, upper level condo has full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, central air, cable TV and Wifi.
Sleeps 5 adults comfortably (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 twins and 1 Queen sleeper sofa). The primary has a king size bed and en suite bathroom. In the second bedroom you will find a queen and a twin daybed. There is an additional sleeping space with a twin in a small area off of the second bedroom. The primary bedroom and living room look out into the woods, with a creek running through.
Upon entry, you will need to climb up approximately 15 steps to reach the main living area of this great condo. Sit out on the patio or open the windows to enjoy the tranquility of the calming waters from the creek. Neat, clean and comfortable, an affordable way to visit Charlevoix.
Lots of summer and fall availability.

NOTE: Due to short term rental and use occupancy licensing restrictions-This home has a STRICT maximum occupancy of 6. The property is flexible for up to 4 adults and 2 additional guests if under 13 years of age. Please contact Northern Michigan Escapes reservations for more information and availability for this home prior to booking.

Beautiful condo but read all fine print before booking

The condo is beautiful and comfortable, however the rules and regulations were not spoken of in the description or we would have looked elsewhere. I had four people coming from different directions who were using this condo. No where did i read that you can only have two cars. This was for my daughters destination wedding, They also, in the rules given to you as you check in, say that noone but the people staying overnight can come to the condo at all. I had rented this as it was close to the venue and as we were getting ready for the wedding, decorating, etc, expected to come back to the condo to grab some food. Also my daughter who has disabilities, needed a place to rest between events that was close by. according to the rules given, that was not an option. They also limit how many towels you can use and tell you that you are under watch to make sure no one but the overnight people were entering the building. It felt very restrictive, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Wedding at Castle Farms

Location, location, location!!! This was the perfect place to stay for getting back and forth to the castle. The condo had some pretty strict rules but nothing me and my family couldn’t abide by but seemed excessive. All in all no issues and it all worked out! (Except the iron left brown marks on my sons dress shirt )

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a short bike ride to town and a short walk to a nearby beach. Location is key. The carpets are dirty and stained as other reviewers have mentioned but for me this isn’t a deal breaker as we are at the beach or out adventuring and I don’t have small kids. The provided kitchen equipment and towels etc were well appointed and clean and they had everything we needed. I wish there was a grill or outdoor space beyond the patio but that is clear in the listing. The excessive repetitive rules and disclosures start you out with a negative first impression and the neighbors aren’t friendly and will try to micromanage you in a way that makes you feel unwelcome. But again, we weren’t there much. Communication on check in day could have been much better. I was expecting a text or email with check in time and codes and ended up having to drive around town waiting to hear back. But I’m sure buried in all the paperwork it said something about when I should expect to check in. I rent houses frequently (6+ a year) and this was the most annoying to work through the logistics that I have seen. Others make more of an effort to make you feel welcomed and appreciated vs like you are a nuisance to everyone and need to walk on eggshells. I won’t be coming back but part of that is because Charlevoix as a town isn’t inviting either. All of their private clubs and private beaches leaves you feeling like stowage who doesn’t belong and isn’t wanted.

Quiet, cozy upper level condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We flew to MI from the West Coast for a week's stay. Condo kitchen was well-equipped, and the floorplan worked well for 2 couples. very disappointed in the condition of the carpet. It needed steam cleaning badly, and when I commented, the rental agent stated that the owner did not want to clean it because he was waiting to replace it. Not acceptable!!! Condo decor was very dated. There were no security dead bolt locks on the doors, only a push button knob lock. There were no safety grab bars in the bathrooms. Location was quiet, with the unit backing up to woods. One other consideration relating to the booking: all necessary condo info related to our stay - key process, HOA rules, check in/check out information - was presented to us solely via a TEXT message. I found this extremely annoying and would have appreciated a hard copy or at the very least an email version of this information.

Charlevoix Condo

We traveled with our 3 teenagers to enjoy beautiful Charlevoix over the 4th of July holiday. The condo was perfect! Clean and well set up. We were able to buy groceries and use the full functioning kitchen. The back patio is so quaint and relaxing with a view of the creek and beautiful trees. Check in was seamless. We highly recommend this property.

Everything you need

This condo was perfect for our family! So close to Ferry Beach and a very pleasant bike ride to downtown Charlevoix. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and some dinners. It even had a travel coffee mug. The condo was quiet and the neighbors were delightful. The older couple watched out for our girls. Thanks so much to the managers who made sure to provide a phone number in case we needed it.

Loved It

Clean, comfy, quiet, with a superbly equipped kitchen. Within walking distance of Lake Charlevoix and the convenience of food trucks when tuckered out from a day of exploration. Great staff, very responsive to all our questions.

This property is spacious, bright, well appointed, well lit, has a lovely creekside, private balcony and it's quiet here. A wonderful 2 nights. The instructions for using the unit were well delineated.

Girls weekend getaway

Everything was exactly as was described in the listing! The home was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. It was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and casino. Had a wonderful weekend away with friends. Would highly recommend staying here!

Not good!

Carpet throughout smelled of pets and carpet was dirty. That’s not pet friendly that just unclean and unsanitary. We book 3 nights and could only stay one night even after vacuuming and airing the condo out. Kids has itchy watery eyes and were sick by the am. I hope I get a refund for the other 2 nights.

Well appointed and in excellent shape, my family of 5 found the condo very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and included many essentails not normally found in other vacation rentals. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were pristine. The host provided clear communication and was very responsive to questions via email, text and voice.Charlevoix is a lovely village even in midwinter and amidst a lockdown. Would love to see the town and lake in summer! We stayed for Boyne Mountain skiing which was an easy 30 min drive away and the Creekside condo made a great home base.Would definitiely stay again for nothern MI travel.

Fall Getaway

This is a great place to stay in Charlevoix for a quick fall getaway. The condo is in a good location not too far from downtown Charlevoix. The condo was well-equipped with the items we needed. My family enjoyed staying here.
