Paradise Found/Breathtaking Views /with Dedicated Wifi

This 1 bedroom unit is located just a short stroll from the beautiful white sand of Sapphire Beach and its protected tropical coral reefs. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, wine cooler and other kitchen appliances. There are 2 TVs with cable, DVD player, state of the art Blu-ray player, hairdryer and Wi-Fi.
The condo has a king size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
There is a restaurant with pool about 100 feet from the condo. There is a compact Sapphire Market near for items you left behind, such as toothpaste, sunscreen, water, and other items. There is pay laundry available on the property, across from your apartment. Coins to use the laundry may be purchased from the office on Mondy through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office is also where you pick up your parking permit for free parking. There are parking spaces in front of the unit.
Boats leave from the marina, beneath your balcony, for excursions going to the British Virgin Islands for a wonderful experience. You should spend a day going to Virgin Gorda and experience the world re-nouned "Baths" and spectacular water-caves. Departing from your private Marina are many excursions that will take you to open sea snorkeling, offshore sightseeing or deep-sea fishing adventures.
You are a 5-minute car ride from Red Hook with lots of restaurants, shops, bars, and ferry dock that goes to St John, one of the three Virgin Islands. St John is a 20-minute ferry ride away. You may also catch a ferry from here to go to Tortola and Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands.

Great time with family

We really enjoyed the location as it was close to everything we needed. The condo had all of the things we needed such as beach towels. Loved being close to the laundry, office, and pool. Really appreciated the screens on the porch overlooking the marina.

Exceeded expectations

The complex and condo were perfect for us. Condo was sizable and comfortable and AC was very cold. Easy walk to beautiful Sapphire Beach and the community restaurant, Sudi's, was excellent. Would stay again.

Each time we go to St Thomas we stay in this unit, watch the boats in the marina, walk to Sapphire Beach, swim and grill supper at the pool ... Short drive to Yacht club where we sail.

Had a great time at a great location

Very easy communication between owner! Great location. Viewed the boat docks and was walking distance to Sapphire beach, bar, and coffee shop. Good amount of space in condo. Utilities available to use were nice (toaster, ice cube tray, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, etc).

Loved watching boats come and go from marina. Lower unit in sapphire village so fairly easy walk to beach. We cook on the community grill often.

Great Happy New Year!

Got there on New Years Eve - was very clean, wonderful view and comfortable! Awesome location being so close to the water, marina and beaches. Gayle was great, everything went smoothly with check-in, etc. Would definitely stay there again!! Everyone in the Sapphire Village was so nice and there is a good restaurant within steps from villa. Also there is a new beach bar at Sapphire Beach which was a lot of fun as well. Rent from Gayle!!!!

Enchanting Stay

What an amazing stay my teenage daughter and I had at this villa overlooking the marina and Sapphire Beach. We were attending a family member's wedding just 3 minutes away, and this place was perfect for it. The description was spot on – a pool right across from us and a restaurant with fantastic food and drinks. The view of the small marina was delightful. Lindquist Beach is just 5 minutes from the villa, and Red Hook, where you can dine, take the ferry, or barge to St. John, is only a 10-minute drive away. The villa had all the amenities we needed and provided easy access to numerous water activities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my family and friends.

Tropical gem!

Beachy, clean, tropical feel, cozy, tucked in the end of the complex. The view is beautiful and the unit had everything we needed both inside and nearby. Gayle was awesome to work with, really outstanding. We had airline scheduling issues and she helped us get this to happen anyway. Perfect for the two of us. Thanks, Gayle!

nice Sapphire Village condo

We're frequent visitors to Sapphire Village, our usual place wasn't available for this trip, but we found this one on VRBO, nice updated condo, clean, and like most Sapphire Village condos, this one is close to all east end amenities. Gayle has her place well stocked with "beach-ware"...snorkels, fins, chairs, coolers, etc. and that kind of stuff which comes in handy when traveling to St.Thomas. Good communication and check in process with Gayle, book with confidence.

Birthday getaway

I had a lovely stay at Gayle’s place. It’s clean, very cute, and convenient to all the amenities of sapphire. Felt safe as a solo traveler. My only issue is the constant construction going on below the unit. I am very understanding of renovations and island improvements.. but booked fairly last min, and I was not informed until right before the stay. When I arrived It was clear it was an ongoing project directly below the condo. I loved my stay but I definitely did not feel comfortable on the balcony with the workers directly below even on the weekends. I know it’s not the hosts fault, just wish for more transparency when booking. Thank you for everything!

Clean Condo and Convenient Location

Overall a great experience. Everything in the description is exactly what it was. We were looking for somewhere to mostly just rest our eyes and cook meals at. It exceeded the expectations in that sense. It's a place to rest, eat, and catch your breath during the vacation. No complaints from two couples that went down for a week to explore and relax. The condo was very clean. Fresh linens were already on the bed and both the bath and beach towels were also clean. The bathroom area was tidy. The shower liked to vary the temperature on you a little but it's not uncommon down there. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and all the utensils needed for the week to cook at home meals which was very convenient. Full size refrigerator, freezer w/ ice maker, toaster and blender were helpful with all of that. The A/C works great in this place. Cools the rooms down in a matter of minutes. Gayle was kind enough to leave us some coffee along with a nice welcoming basket. The view off the balcony was great. Very cool seeing the ships and its a great view out to sapphire. The unit is a literal stones throw from the sapphire bar and grill which is also poolside. Good food and drinks, get the wings. A propane grill is provided to residents poolside so we made burgers and the such a couple times, again convenient. Walk up to the front of the complex and either walk into red hook or wait for a safari to drive by (hours vary) and you can ride in for $1. Sapphire beach is only a short walk down the hill and past a few other units. Fun beach, not ever too packed and always sunny. Very relaxing area. We recommend and will be returning!

Great value for your money!

Sapphire has always been one of my favorite beaches! You can swim, snorkel, leave on an excursion from the Marina there..and it is so close to Redhook! The welcome basket awaiting us was so very thoughtful and we appreciated it. All the information you need to know about St. Thomas and the fun you can have there can be found in the literature and notebook left for guests to read. The layout is perfect for a Marina view from the living area, balcony and bedroom. It is a very welcoming and cozy condo. The beautiful tile sparkled, so clean! The kitchen has everything you need to cook and imbibe in your favorite beverage. A good place to do that is on the balcony, where you can look out on the Marina. The way Sapphire buildings are set up on the property, the higher you are, the better the breeze and the view of the ocean. This condo is the first level hence the good Marina view (not much of a breeze) It is helpful to know that underneath it is the groundskeeper's storage area. Since we were up early, it didn't bother us, we just waved to them below. We primarily chose this property for the price and the King size bed. Very few condos, if any in Sapphire, have King size beds. Unfortunately, the bathroom was awkward for a tall person, so if you are tall and were looking for a King size bed, be careful in the bathroom and vanity sink area. Additionally, the shower head is in desperate need of replacing, only a few spurts of water come out of it, but that is an easy fix for the owner. There is plenty of storage areas if you are staying there for a long time, a big plus if you are planning to stay longer than a week! Like the title of my review says, this is a real value for your money and I would recommend it to friends, giving them all the information I provided in this review.

St thomas vacation

Face the harbor. Love to drink my coffee and beer in the balcony. Landlady also prepare beach chairs and towels. Best location, nice bar and restaurant near the resort beach. Very relaxing.

2nd year on property. This unit high value and excellent unit. Had many snorkel items fins masks beach tent. Cooked on grill near pool many evenings. Right in front of sail boat slips. Watched departial and arrivals while dining on balcony.

Perfect place

Sapphire is truly the place to stay for ultimate convenience. Near all the best beaches, restaurants, shopping, and ferry. This particular condo was super clean with a great view and stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!!!!

Another amazing week in paradise..

This was our second time staying at Gayle's Sapphire Village property, and it didn't disappoint! Same beautiful views off the balcony, convenience of a restaurant a few steps away, comfortable king bed, and great snorkeling right off the beach! Gayle is a super sweet lady that has gone above and beyond to accommodate us both trips! We hope to make this an annual visit!

Good price for the area

This unit is located in the Sapphire Condominiums/Sapphire Beach. While it is a little outdated, it has all the amenities you could want. Slice (restaurant) is just outside of the building, right next to one of the area's pools.The biggest downfall is the shower which is touchy and the hot water would only come out every so often and it was hard to control.The unit is located on the bottom floor of the building. The view off the "balcony" does overlook the marina, but it also overlooks large shipping containers that are 50 ft in front of the unit which isn't the nicest. Not sure if they're there due to hurricane restorations. Sapphire Beach is a just a quick 5 minute walk away; located on the resort side of Sapphire. Unfortunately when we visited in February 2019, there was a lot of seaweed on the beach so we didn't find it to be the nicest. Although the host was very kind, the unit was clean and the description of the unit was accurate, it was really the shower that lowered our review of the rental. Red Hook is only a <5 min ride away (don't walk it). Magens Bay is a ~20 min ride away.

A very well equipped and beautiful condo

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable four day stay at this condo. The location on the east end of the island was great and the specific location within the complex was also great. Everything was as advertised. The owners and the staff at the complex were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony of the marina. A special treat was the restaurant on the premises with great food and friendly staff. It was great to meet some of our neighbors there. We would return for a second visit or recommend it to others.

Excellent experience!

We have been coming to the USVI for many years now and have always enjoyed our stays. Unfortunately these beautiful islands and their people suffered through both Irma and Maria and have been truly challenged these last months as they work to reconstruct their livelihoods and land/surroundings. Because of the devastation from the storms we were unable to visit last fall as planned but decided not to wait and moved our reservations to this spring. Gayle was very accommodating, thoughtful and helpful in making this change possible. She also was able to provide good information about what was happening during the ensuing months. When we arrived at the unit, it was just as beautiful and comfortable as could be hoped for. In fact, it is so nice that we hope to return and stay with Gayle again in the future. I would recommend this beautiful unit and its kind owner without reservations.

Good room, great location, safe area

Gail was great. The room was nice, clean and much larger than I expected. The add on charges were more than I expected. However, I WOULD ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

Grew up in Florida around where I thought had one of the most beautiful beaches around, until I came to St. Thomas. Now I'm retired and living in an area where there is snow almost every winter and look forward to coming to St. Thomas as my special getaway. It is so calming hearing the water from my window.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

In 2004 we visited Sapphire Village and came back every year thereafter. We love looking out of the window into the beautiful blue water or sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by and enjoying the cool breeze. The chance to purchase Dru's place was presented to us and we jumped at the opportunity. So, any past renters that loved her place as much as we do are welcomed back.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The balcony is right over the marina with an excellent view of the clear blue water. The pool is just a minute away. The laundry room is right across from the unit. We have our own restaurant on the premise, Sudi's, which is also a minute walk away from the unit. Red Hook is a 5-minute drive away, with great restaurants and a market for your grocery needs.
