Paradise Palms Mobay Jamaica Villa is a 4 bedroom sleeps 9 self catering holiday vacation rental private sole occupancy accommodation which provides a great holiday experience in a quiet, residential area located approximately 8 minutes from Montego Bay Airport and 7 minutes drive from the main shopping centers, cinemas, pharmacies, restaurants and the famous Mobay 'Hip Strip', Margaritaville, Doctor's Cave Beach, Cornwall Beach, Aqua Sol Beach & water sport along the North Coast of Jamaica. There is off street parking for cars with secure fencing around the property. The garden is well maintained and reaps lovely seasonal fruits from its trees.

There is also an array of exotic fruits, beautiful tropical plants a herb garden and flowers. This property is very secure and gated and is suitable for young children and also has a wide space for them to play and have fun.
There are route taxis transportation available just outside the property for those who have not rented a vehicle.

Paradise Palms Mobay Jamaica Villa provides a great holiday experience in a quiet, residential area located approximately 8 minutes drive from Montego Bay Airport and 7 minutes away from the main shopping centers, cinemas, pharmacies, restaurants and the famous Mobay 'Hip Strip', Doctor's Cave Beach, Cornwall Beach, Aqua Sol Beach & water sport along the North Coast of Jamaica. There are many places where you can have lunches like KFC, Juicy Patties, Island Grill, Pizza Hut, and Tastee Patties.

Montego Bay premier attractions are its beautiful private beach resorts. In and around Montego Bay there are also lots of Golf courses. There are also lots duty free shops and craft markets to collect your Jamaican souvenirs. For the more adventurous people, there is sightseeing, waterfalls climbing, scenic drives, sailing, scuba diving and water sports activities.
Although guests will be occupying the property by themselves, rooms allocation will be at the discretion of management.

Beautiful home close to the airport

Unfortunately, we didnā€™t get to stay here long, just one day. But for a group of 8 of us, the home provided everything we needed and Mr. Clyde was MORE THAN accommodating as a host. We truly appreciated all of his help. The home was clean, safe with plenty of space for our guests. Would recommend to small groups or families on a budget.

We just arrived from Paradise Palms Villa in Montego Bay where we stayed 8 days from July 12th to 20th. Very nice and clean house with great view from the balcony where you can watch spectacular sunsets ā€¦ This villa is located only few minutes from the airport (but very quiet) and many restaurants ā€¦ I would like to mention the amazing assistance that we received from Mr. Claude (Property Manager) and Teresa (Housekeeper) ā€¦ These people are very dedicated to make your stay comfortable and are good ambassadors of the Jamaican culture. I recommend this property without hesitation ā€¦ Richard Fournier (Canada)

My Kind of Paradise

When comfort meets quality it equals an exceptional value. Paradise Palms is a diamond in the rough. The golden appeal for me was the self catering approach since I never require much service. Simply knowing that Carol and Mr. Murdock where only a phone call away gave me peace of mind. They were available by request and weren't intrusive which was greatly appreciated. Check in/out was a breeze, the accommodations were spotless and there was ample space. The pictures online were an accurate representation of the villa. It's a beautiful home, well maintained and fully stocked with all the essentials. I would highly recommend it to my family and friends. It truly is a home away from home in paradise.

Very Quiet, Affordable and Safe location

Arrived to find that this property was located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Located not very far from the Hip Strip as Route Taxis can be used to go into town just by walking less than a hundred feet to the next street over. The housekeeper was courteous and gave me a tour of the property along with all the contact info I needed for transportation and assistance. She was very knowledgeable about the local customs and of the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Most of my time was spent in the local towns and traveling about, often times arriving back home after 2 or 3am. I never had any worries about safety as local drivers and taxis dropped me off at the door. This property sits in a Cul De Sac which adds to its privacy with no worries of passing traffic. Very clean and affordable. The housekeeper also offered me some Mangoes that grown in the backyard :) Was only there for 4 days but grew to like the property, so if I'm back in MoBay, I know exactly where to come stay.

WE HAD A TIME TO RELAX AND CHILL OUT

We chosen this property because we though it was much cheaper than the others we saw when we were looking for a place to stay in montego Bay. As it turns out this was good value for money and a good deal. I would have love to have a swimming pool on the property but that was ok because we were able to enjoy ourselves at the nearby doctors cave beach and the aqua sol beach as well. We also at nights goes to some nearby restarants on the hip strip and 2 nights we went to the night clubs down there. Paradise Palms Jamaica was very cosy for us and very homely. The manager was very friendly and took us out to where ever we want to go. the beds were comfortable and i really liked the kitchen area. There was a large verandah where we spend a lot of time jush chillin out. The place was very safe and we all felt like we are at home there. also everything that we need was nearby, about 5-7 minutes by car or taxi. The only thing that i would have liked was a swimming pool. yes, we would go back next time, definately.

Good Option, Great People, Short stay

We only stayed one night as we waited for more of our party to come in and go to a resort. Were very happy with the pick up service. The driver even took us to the market for some groceries. It was a great way to see culture off of a resort. Couple things that may have been nice, a bottle or two of water could be provided, as we can't drink the local water. Some throw blankets, the blankets provided were more like "sheets." Some things in the kitchen were missing, knife to cut vegetable, wash rag, hand towels. The pictures are a bit out dated. The back yard did not have the patio chairs and relaxing clean area as shown in the pictures. The bedding was not the same, it was just white sheets (duvet with no insert). This was a nice place, and a good value, a couple items would have just made it that much better.

The pictures are extremely out dated. The owner was nice but the property did not live up to the expectations. Please only consider this most recent review because I am not even sure how this property has such a high rating with the experience we had. Out of the 4 days we stayed, we only had warm water 1 of those days. The water pressure is bad too, the shower and sinks come out as dribbles which makes it extremely difficult to shower especially when the water is already cold. There are no light bulbs in many areas of the house. There are no paper towels provided and the kitchen and dining area was infested with ants so donā€™t even think you will be able to cook or leave food on the counter or dining room table, you will find hundreds of ants in your food within a matter of 20 minutes. No wash cloths or body wash/ soap are provided just towels. The AC units shut off after about 10 minutes of running so you will have to constantly turn them back on. In one of the bedrooms specifically, it does not work at all making it unbearable to be in there because of the heat. This may have been a good place to stay a couple of years ago but I can assure you, it was not a pleasant stay for me and my family. We will be getting a resort next time. Owner is kind but it doesnā€™t make up for the conditions of the home. Please beware.

Beautiful home and area.

The Paradise Palms Villa was nothing short of beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures. The marble floor, the beautiful veranda, awesome landscaping! It was quite nice for the pricing. We had a little trouble while going through customs. None of them were familiar with the establishment and I am assuming so because this isn't some big fancy resort. It is located in an actual neighborhood called Paradise and I believe the street is Wendy Close. Mr. Lee, our driver, I want to give him 1000 stars! He is who made the trip. He was late getting us when we arrived due to his working with people from the cruise ship but we forgave him and each day we grew to love him more and more. He is a wonderful asset to this business and i recommend that you pay him well and have him take you to wherever you want to go! He made sure we stopped to see and do things we needed to do on the way, he made suggestions and gave us a guided tour of everything. Along with paying him , he made such an impact, we treated him to lunches, dinners, and gave him generous tips! I promise you, you will not regret riding with this loving man. He protected us, waited for us at our stops, and checked in on us. He was why booking this Villa was amazing! The size! 4 beds and 3 full bathrooms. It was an issue that one of the bathrooms didn't have a door but the ladies that occupied that room just came up with a code and worked it out. The bedroom 2 stayed cool the entire time(the room with the bathroom that doesn't have a door) The bathrooms were so nice!! Extremely beautiful! The master bath was huge, 2 sinks, huge mirror, a woman's dream! The area! It was secure, we had a gate, the neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. There was never a time that we didn't feel safe. Omar(landscaper) would come by and water the plants and tend to the fruit trees, sit on the Veranda and enjoy some conversation with us American girls. There is a washer in the back wash room area. (There is no dryer like the amenities say it is. There are lines on the back patio to hang your items to dry. ) Towels. They only have hand towels and bath towels no wash cloths. Due to being hung out to dry the towels were full of lent that come off onto your body when you dry off with them. The heat in the living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms was unbearable. Air is only in the bedrooms. :-( Other than that great place and cheap!

The best 50th birthday celebration

We had an incredible time from start to finish. Mr. Lloyd was very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs from the time we booked the villa. We went to Jamaica to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. I had asked to have decorations to surprise her when we arrived. That was done. We arrived prior to the check-in time.. Mr. Lloyd allowed us to drop our luggage(which he personally lugged up the stairs ) off at the villa, and begin our Jamaican vacation. He drove us to a popular spot for take out. Then, the next day we met Mr. Claude the driver. He took to every place we wanted to go. He gave us so much information about his beautiful country and the wonderful people who live there. Mr. Claude was polite, funny, and paid close attention to our every need. He even picked up a surprise birthday cake, and brought it to the house for us. There is no one better to navigate the tricky streets of Montego Bay. He was also our photographer so that we could capture so many of our precious moments without having to do selfies. Everyone affiliated with this property went above and beyond to make sure for six days Jamaica felt like it was our home. I can't thank you all enough. We will definitely be back. And we will not be staying anywhere else. I just realized I didn't even mention the beautiful property. There were amazing fruit trees on the grounds. The house has giant ceilings, and the lighting is amazing to take beautiful pictures. You can see breathtaking mountains scenes from the porch. I don't want to forget one detail.

We really enjoyed our stay

The house was clean and inviting. Loved the large open space of the living room, dining room and kitchen combo. It provided a nice relaxing gathering space for our family of 7. The outdoor space with a large veranda in the front and patio in the back was also comfortable. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book it again.

Customer service is excellent! And I can't say enough about Claude. He and Lloyd made it great!

Paradise Palms

I was there on a short business trip. The location is great. not too far away from the Hip Street, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet and embrace the view of the lovely landscaped yard,..and the beautiful view from the porch. The iwner, Mr Simpson was an excellent host. The property is very well secured..I felt safe being there. I will definitely go back!

Marcia and we have 2 beautiful children. We bought this property for our personal family holiday home use in 2005, however we decided to make it into a self catering vacation rental holiday home so others can have the use of it as we are only able to visit from the UK every 6 months. This holiday home is our pride and joy and we would like to share it with those who will take care of it as if it was their own.
