ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE! 2 Bed/2 Bath, 150 ft to waters edge. Well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, ceiling fans, wireless internet, 55" flat screen TV in the Living Room, TV's in both bedrooms, gas grill, 2 lanais with ocean/beach views, fully stocked linen closets, ample covered parking directly below unit, outdoor shower, large yard, washer/dryer, ping pong, foosball and dartboard!. You will not be disappointed!

Your island home is situated on the ocean side of the second floor of a triplex building - Pu'uwai O' Kahalu'u (in the heart of Kahalu'u) There is easy access from the garage to your unit. Air-conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans throughout. Fully stocked kitchen and 1,100 square feet plus 350 square feet in covered lanais with ocean/beach views. Sleeps up to 6 people with 1 queen bed in each bedroom, and a daybed with 2 twin mattresses in area between dining and living rooms. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf!

Walk across the street to Kahalu'u Beach Park - the premier snorkel and surf spot on the Island. The neighborhood has several board rental shops and the next door neighbor runs a surf school. Snorkel gear available to rent at the beach. Located less than 1 mile away are shops, restaurants, a movie theater, grocery store, drug store, and Keauhou Urgent Care ā€“ hopefully not needed. Less than 2 miles to Keauhou Bay Pier, the departure site for various activities including swimming with the Manta Rays. Kona Country Club has re-opened less than a mile away and Makalei Golf Club boasts a challenging course with expansive ocean views, reasonable prices, and is located just 10 miles away.

Minimum night varies seasonally 4 - 10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets are allowed.

Great Location Steps to Beach

This unit is clean and spacious. Well equiped kitchen, bathrooms and beach stuff. Located nicely across the street from beach, snorkeling, surf boarding. Minor detail was that there was only one blanket in the closet for three beds. No comforters, only sheets. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Highly Recommend for Snorkel Lovers!

This property had the perfect location, situated just across the street from the beautiful Kahalu'u beach park. The place is SPACIOUS, with enough room for 4 adults and 1 child. Great layout allowing for privacy (closet between the 2 bedroom/bathroom). Management company was very responsive and prompt. There was clear communication on amenities being basic, but I found it to be pretty generous and more than enough for us. Easy laundry access downstairs was awesome, especially separate units having their own. Note beach across is not supposed to be very sandy for folks with young kids. I really liked that there are only 3 units to the building (2 downstairs and 1 upstairs) so there's great privacy and less feeling of being in a crowded condo blocked in by neighbors. Downstairs was the laundry/parking, so no fear of disturbing neighbors with a kid running around. Upstairs unit footsteps, etc could be heard but that's expected, wasn't bad. Only suggestion was the guest bedroom bed is not super comfy while the master bedroom had an amazing mattress. Mahalo for a great stay, would definitely stay again!

Easy to access all parts of where we visited. Enjoyed access to pool noodles, boogie boards, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking a large vehicle was tricky but always available.

Great location

This condo is right across from a snorkeling beach, which meant family members could go anytime they wanted (instead of everyone having to load into a car). It was much more spacious than we were expecting, and it was spotless. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Property driveway has many pot holes, cleanliness not so good debri under beds, no blankets and customer service seemed to be bothered when be called. Beach accross street very rocky and aggressive.

Great location across from beach

The location and the cleanliness were the only things we liked about this property. The neighborhood is VERY noisy with people working with machinery, people constantly talking on their cell phones outside, other renters outside drinking and being loud. This unit is under the top unit and there are no carpets anywhere and anyone who was upstairs sounded like elephants--no respect for people below them at all. The unit was also done VERY cheaply. There is one set of sheets per bed (and the sheets are awful), the beds are so soft you fall off the edge, we had to go buy pots and pans as the stuff there was tiny and cheap. We were there for 2 months and would not stay there again. Kona Coast Vacations was great.

Loved it

Amazing! Steps away from beach with snorkeling. It had everything we needed and more. We cooked every day and there is a store a short drive away. The apartment was very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We had an issue with the lock and the management was very prompt fixing it. As someone said parking can be tricky (not pulling in, but pulling out), but I got used to it. It was great having a washer and dryer. Highly recommend this unit.

This location was great and right across the street from snorkeling. It was clean and spacious. I wish there was more pots, there was only one small one and a broom or vacuum.

Overall great place to stay. Close to most local attractions, instruction we're good and amenities were nice. Driveway was a bit difficult to navigate in and out, but after I got the hang of it, that was not too bad either. I would recommend to all going to big island.

Spacious and well-appointed place in a great location

We absolutely loved the location of this property, steps from excellent snorkeling, swimming and surfing at the Kahaluā€™u Beach Park and a short drive to many beautiful beaches, coffee shops, restaurants and historic sites. The proprietors were very helpful and we booked two great tours via David of Kona Concierge. Highly recommended.

Nice place, great location if you like Kahalu'u

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and nicely set up, with a good supply of toiletries, etc. so we didn't have to immediately rush out and buy things. My wife was unhappy there was no rice cooker - but we bought one and left it there, so hopefully it will be there for others. We loved being able to walk out the door and be in the water at Kahalu'u in a couple of minutes. This unit gets good cross-breezes so we rarely needed to use the AC. You do have to be careful getting in/out of the parking with the support posts, but that's a minor annoyance. I'd very happily stay here again.

Great location in Kona

Very nice property across street from great snorkeling beach and historic area ( see sign in beach park). The beach gets crowded with snorkelers but there are lifeguards and even people giving advice about snorkeling (how to see the most fish, not damage reefs, provide anti fog spray ) at some times. A fair amount to seeā€¦. One day the life guards spotted a shark and got everyone out of water ( scary but glad they were watching and got great photos of reef-shark). Property is good size with parking underneath. Great lanai in front with own grill for our unit. Very beautiful plantings around property but that does limit ocean view somewhat. Property looked very clean but suspect floors need a deep clean since our feet got dirty from walking around unit. Great rec area in garage area with ping pong, foosball, and electronic darts which my preteens loved. Trundle beds and master bed comfortable but 2nd bedroom bed was not as good. Kitchen pretty well stocked with dishes and some spices in cabinet. Other properties had condiments in fridge and this one didnā€™t ā€¦we did without this time. Overall nice place.

A slice of paradise

This condo is in the absolute perfect location for a family vacation. Super close to a trolley stop, bike rentals and across the street from an awesome beach. The fully stocked kitchen is super helpful if youā€™re wanting to save money on food. They are very responsive with communication. Our only suggestion would be to provide more than 4 rolls of toilet paper for 5 guests for 14 days.
