Spectacular Views II at Elysian Beach Resort

See the spectacular views from our quiet top floor 1,800 sq. ft. three bedroom, four full bath, non-smoking condominium at the Wyndham's Elysian Beach Resort overlooking beautiful Cowpet Bay (also see our other almost identical three bedroom condo, VRBO #248170ha at the same resort). Our top floor condo has all the features that you would want in a vacation condo as we stay there several weeks per year. The living area has a sectional sofa, a large TV, a DVD player and wireless internet service. It has a covered balcony with table, chairs, and Weber electric BBQ grill. The dining area has a table that seats six or eat on the balcony that seats six. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, oven/cooktop, dishwasher, microwave), granite countertop, and an eating bar with three counter stools.

There are two spacious bedrooms on the main floor, both with a king bed and one has an additional twin bed. The third bedroom is in a loft setting with a king bed. Also available is a pack-n-play for infants. All three bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, individual quiet split air conditioning units, ceiling fans, TVs, dressers and closets. Each bedroom has a private bath with two sinks (one in loft) and large shower. The fourth full bathroom has a combination tub/shower. All bedrooms have private balconies with great views of Cowpet Bay and nearby islands. The loft deck is over-sized (13'x18') and is perfect for enjoying the views, socializing, sunbathing and star gazing.

It only takes 3 to 4 minutes to walk to the beautiful palm tree lined beach where there are complimentary beach and lounge chairs. Here you can bask in the sun or lay in the shade of a palm or seagrape tree. The beach has a large, protected swimming area and an area where you can snorkel. Next to the beach is a large beautifully landscaped pool with hot tub. There is also a beach/pool bar and two great restaurants. Caribbean Fish Market serves dinner from 5pm to 10pm and brunch on Sunday. Sangria's is open from 7:30am to 8pm with only pizza served after 6pm. On site we have a tennis court, fee exercise room (currently closed), fee Health/Beauty/Massage Spa (currently closed) and water-sport rentals.

In the nearby town of Red Hook, you can take a ferry to St. John and the British Virgin Islands (passport required for BVI). The town of Red Hook has a dozen restaurants, a grocery store, gift and specialty shops, and a large marina. All of this is within a mile and a half of our condominium.

Canā€™t brag enough on this condo. Views from every room. Each bedroom had its own AC control. The resort was great. Snorkeling and swimming on site. Great options for food and drinks. Rick was wonderful about providing information on the island and unit ahead of time. Highly recommend staying here.

The title of this listing is 100% true especially the loft balcony views! This unit was perfect for a group stay and had everything we needed! A short taxi ride from Red Hook for groceries (Moeā€™s), restaurants, and ferry to St John. The host provided all the info we needed clearly and was very receptive with any questions we had. A perfect place for the six of us (the two of us and our grown children and their spouses). Each couple had their own bedroom, bathroom and veranda with spectacular views of Cowpet Bay. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area were adequately stocked for our stay. The host was pleasant to work with too. We would definitely stay here again!

My family of 7 stayed here for a week. We enjoyed the proximity of the condo to Red Hook restaurants and beaches (Sapphire, Lindquist, Coki, Secret Harbor). It was also nice to have two restaurants at the property to run down to for meals. It served as a great home base and gave my family enough room to spread out in the morning/evenings. We had some really spectacular sunrises and sunsets that we could see wonderfully from the 4 balconies. The cadence of communication with the owners was just right and we were provided with all the information we needed. We didnā€™t have any problems at all during our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay at this condo. There were 3 adult couples in our party. This condo has everything you need for a great vacation. This is my families fifth private rental in St Thomas and overall it was the best. We usually stay in single family houses but this condo is actually quite huge in terms of square feet and vaulted ceilings plue FOUR balconies make it even more comfortable. We are a family of four with a 9 and 7 yo so we appreciate floor space. You can also tell real people live in this condo as from the sheets, to the dishes to a full size washer and drier this place feels like a residence. Coupled with the resort (unlimited towels, two restaurants, and a furnished beach experice) this place is hard to beat in terms of value for your dollar. After all that, you have two world class beaches within a five mile drive. We will certianly save this listing.

The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generous in size and each bedroom and the living room feature balconies with seating. Rick was a wonderful host - extremely communicative and helpful with information on the condo, resort and greater island. My family was stuck in St. Thomas for a couple of extra days as a result of Hurricane Erin. Rick was extremely kind and flexible, allowing us to stay longer until we could safely leave St. Thomas.

Great place to say in St. Thomas

Just got back from staying at this fabulous place. The resort is great, beach was perfect (not overly crowded), and the condo is actually a lot bigger than the what we anticipated. Family of 7 - 4 adults and three kids. Plenty of room. On top of the wonderful stay the owners were super great and easy to communicate with. Couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience.

Perfect oasis

This location and property were perfect. Clean, incredible views better than expected. We were a family of 5 enjoyed the property. We did rent a Jeep and that I would recommend. This location is close to Red Hook for the ferry to island hop. Great communication and very easy check in. Would highly recommend this location. Thank you

Perfect stay!

The condo and property are perfect! Better than the pictures. We are a family of five and had plenty of room to spread out. The proximity to Red Hook made grabbing groceries or going out for lunch/dinner a breeze. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

Susan and Rick Taylor live in Wilmington DE, where they were born and raised. We also lived in Tulsa OK for 15 years. We have three married daughters and each of them gave us a grandchild in 2008, one in 2010, two more in July 2011 and the last one in January 2014.

We spent our 30th wedding anniversary with our family in St. Thomas and fell in love with the island. After visiting many other islands, we returned a year later looking for real estate. We stayed at the Elysian and realized the location on island, beach, facilities, and condos couldn't be beat. The rest is history.
