Beit Sahour (the house of sleeping late) is located in the costal community of Surfside Shores, home to the Alabama Governors Mansion on the Beach. This spacious and well appointed 4 bedroom, 3 bath executive home offers couples and families a serene and natural vacation retreat.

Space and privacy add to the ambience of your beach house experience where youā€™ll enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen and dining room; a comfortable living area with a big screen TV; a private office with a large desk, broadband internet and wi-fi; a large sunroom overlooking the wetlands, and a huge front porch, partially screened, with deck chairs and a rocker. All this, in addition to 4 bedrooms (3 kings, 1 with 2 twins) and 3 baths, plus a garden tub.

A 5 minute walk through the quite beach front community will get you to the private, wide and sugar-white beach!

Want to play some golf? The famous Kiva Dunes golf course is just a few blocks away.

Boat lovers, you can park your boat on site and a public ramp is just a few blocks away and Fort Morgan Marina is just a few short miles down the road.

This super comfortable home is just minutes away from all the entertainment activities of Gulf Shores and outlet shopping in Foley but without the crowds and noise.

Perfect for staying active or simply relaxing on your vacation.

We've recently opened up the upstairs. So, although some of the reviews say 2 bedroom, this is now a 4 bedroom rental.

Itā€™s a very roomy nice house for a 2 bedroom.

I guess I had some misunderstanding about some things I didnā€™t fully read my rental agreement. I will definitely do that next time I rent something.

Nice place

The house itself was nice. We were told you could drive down and park closer to the beach but all areas had signs up saying tow zone. The walk was not at all bad but with small children and lots to pack it was a little challenging. The patio and pool was nice but anyone with small children really have to watch them since the swamp is right there steps away and there are some open areas they could slide through. I really enjoyed our stay overall though, the beds were comfortable, the space was nice. You cannot have over four people though which kind of stinks if you have a larger family but for us it worked. Also if you're looking for somewhere near all the shops and things just keep in mind it's about a 20 min drive from the house. It's nice and quiet though being away from the crowds.

Perfect for what we were looking for!

My husband and I wanted somewhere to relax and this place was it! The private pool was the perfect size for us to float carefree under the sun without the noise of town. The bed was comfortable, the living room was cozy for watching a movie, the house is fully equipped with anything you may need and if youā€™re looking to sleep in a little, then the master bedroom will be perfect for you. We slept until after 8, which we havenā€™t done in years, because it was so dark from the blackout curtains. The front porch is very welcoming and nice to sit on and have your morning coffee. The sun room by the pool is my favorite part, soooo cozy!! I canā€™t say enough about this place, itā€™s great! One thing I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND, is having a golf cart rented and delivered there for your stay because the walk to the private beach is long and hot, there isnā€™t any parking area for vehicles. The water pressure in the house is so good! Closet space, beach equipment, everything! Jonathan was a great host to work with!

GREAT BEACH HOUSE WITH TONS OF AMENITIES!!

Great house with endless amenities!! Beach toys, beach chairs, dishes...you name it, the house probably had it. We probably didn't even find all the goodies the house had to offer. Lol TEN STARS! Property owner was super friendly and accommodating as well, even helped us to check in hours sooner to help out with baby's naptime! Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this house to anyone looking. Lovely stay near Gulf Shores

My family had a wonderful time at Jonathan's house. The pool was very refreshing after a day at the beach and it was fun hearing the frogs at night in the natural area behind the house. The location was perfect for us - close enough to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to visit all of the restaurants and other fun stuff in the area but far enough away to be out of the frenzy (and traffic!) when we needed a break. Jonathan was a great host and provided all the info we needed for a perfect stay. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Great property

It was our first trip to gulf shores and we had a blast. This property was everything we needed. There was great communication with the owner and check in/out process was a breeze. The kids loved the new salt water pool and we practically lived on the air conditioning patio. Only recommendation is bring a wagon or rent golf cart for beach access especially if you have small kids. It's a .5 mi walk from the front door to the private beach access and no vehicle parking there really. Other than that one of our best trips yet!

Honey moon trip!

This house was everything and more than what we even expected for our stay! We stayed a whole week! It was so peaceful neighborhood was amazing! Private beach was not crowded at all! We will definitely be staying again in the future! Perfect house for a lovely and relaxing trip to the beach!

We had a wonderful trip and this was a great house. The owner was accessible for the few questions we had. My kids loved the access to the beach and pretty much lived in the pool while we were there. I would definitely stay here again.

Spring break

Child under 2 counts toward the total persons amount. Also no accommodations for that child ie pack and play etc. Other than that hiccup (which was my fault for not asking) this place was spectacular. Owner was very cool about everything as well. Id recommend it to be for a small family of 4 with children 8+ of age. Id definitely stay again.

Cozy stay at the beach

We had an excellent time staying at the house during our beach visit. The house had most all amenities we needed and the owner was responsive when we needed to communicate. We would recommend this house for small families who would like to stay near a quiet beach.

Wildlife/Beach getaway

Donā€™t forget the binoculars ! All kinds of natural wildlife, such as birds, rabbits, frogs, lizards. The house backs up to natural wetlands with grasses and lily pads. Step inside and you will feel like you are at home. Very comfortable beds! Fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need to make your stay enjoyable . Great neighborhood to ride bikes and the beach was beautiful. End your day on the back deck looking at wildlife or on the beach with the spectacular sunsets.

AMAZING.

Everything is even better than the pictures. Perfect location, not very touristy. Short trip to the beach and the perfect distance away from the craziness of the main drag. Everything you could need is available to you in the house and the beds were so comfortable. We loved our trip to this house because it felt like home. Thank you so much Jonathan!
