Nestled on a bluff above the Pacific, this lovely Princeville condominium offers wonderful ocean, mountain and waterfall views, terrific amenities and abundant living and lanai space for families, couples and small groups. It is 1281 square feet with two full baths and sleeps 4-6 comfortably.

This top-floor, corner condo (#4-310) is very quiet and private. You'll enjoy great ocean views from the kitchen, lanai and living area. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright, open and comfortable "home away from home" for you and your guests.

The master bedroom offers gorgeous mountain, waterfall, and Bali Hai views. It has a reading area, wet bar, and private lanai. The second bedroom is a spacious upstairs loft with mountain and waterfall views.

The front lanai is one of the nicest at The Cliffs. Because of the condo’s corner location, the lanai is open on two sides and offers 180-degree views. And because it faces west, it is protected from Hawaii's easterly trade winds and stays calm and pleasant for you to enjoy breakfast, supper or a lazy afternoon.

With its two stories and corner location, this condo feels more like a town home. Stay here once and you’re sure to return!

The Cliffs Resort rests on 22 acres of lush tropical garden land, close to pristine white sand beaches and 45 holes of world-class golf at Princeville. The Cliffs features a large swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, barbecue areas near each building, oceanfront gazebos and lounge areas, bicycle rentals, a fitness center, a kids’ playground, a putting/chipping green, and tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and pickle-ball courts. The Cliffs also provides an on-site activity desk, business center, onsite video rental and 24-hour security.

Princeville is located at the tip of Kauai's breathtaking north shore, which has provided the tropical backdrop for many film/TV productions (Avatar, The Descendants, Pirates of the Caribbean, Fantasy Island, South Pacific) and offers beauty at every turn. Shop or dine in charming Hanalei town, tour the famed Na Pali Coast, frolic at America's Best Beach of 2009 (Hanalei Bay), kayak on Hanalei River, dive or snorkel the beautiful reefs of Tunnels or Anini - or just relax and enjoy another day in paradise!

Amazing view and great vibe

The condo was awesome and the view, just wow... mountains from the kitchen, living room, mezzanine and lanai; ocean from the kitchen and lanai.The Cliff amenities were great, especially the pool, and the sunset space overlooking the ocean is unbeatable. Cleanliness could have been a little better, and the umbrella was broken.Apart from that, this is the best place in Hawaii we have stayed so far (3rd time) and our 3 kids (10, 14 and 16) really enjoyed the place. Would definitely book again!

The Cliffs lives up to its name. Watch from the cliffs as the sun rises in the morning and settle back in to watch the magical sunset! Condo top notch and spacious. Property and amenities great. Highly recommend.

Okay stay

Furniture uncomfortable, bugs on second day there had ants then on 5 day we saw roaches.. had to throw away food.. beds were hard .. location great..we had to leave a day early because of miss communication between rental agency and property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was as described. It was clean and well equipped. It is a top unit as stated so a little hard to handle luggage up stairs. The doors left open gave us a constant tropical breeze. One fan stopped working while we were there but the breeze provided enough cool air. One outlet in the main bath did not work. The view was amazing. We had both mountain and ocean views. Some of the furniture and area rugs need replacing as they are well worn.

The year had been a veyr busy one, and unplugging was the only goal for the family. The condo was well appointed and as advertised: beautiful location, walkable to beaches, and plenty of room for rest and relaxation. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and quickly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked: it lacked for nothing! And Lauai Vacation Rentals' customer service was exceptional. We will be back-MAHALO!

Loved Kauai

This place was in a beautiful development and great amenities and the condo had lost everything we needed. Ocean view (a ways away) was nice and location was good. The property was managed by a vacation rental agency and the communication was not ideal. I missed a key note in an email that I got months ago and again one that probably got lost in my junk email about getting keys at a different location (we realized when we couldn’t get in at arrival). There was an emergency key available but it was stressful on the family. I tried to reach property mgr via Vrbo app a couple times but no response. Found their website but still slow response. Other than that, this was one of the best trips ever!

Fabulous Condo!

We enjoyed all our meals out there looking at the ocean and listening to the birds. Everything was in good condition and we had everything we needed. The kitchen gets very warm in the afternoon, as the sun comes right in the tall windows with no shades on them. The condo cooled down at night and we were very comfortable sleeping with the ceiling and floor fans. We enjoyed the pickle ball court - that was a bonus! And we took a few bike rides on the available beach cruisers - rode to Queen's Bath for a swim, and the farmer's market on Saturday. Foodland was not far away and we enjoyed a meal at Tiki Iniki and got take out from Lotus Garden. The beach chairs, umbrella, extra cooler bag, snorkel equipment was handy. Packing tip: bring Chip Clips!

Lovely, spacious condo

This is a lovely, spacious condo with great amenities, located very close to the pool and sport courts. We loved the comfortable beds, overhead fans, relaxing lanais, and nice kitchen. The unit came with four beach chairs, a variety of coolers/bags, and an umbrella (very much appreciated until we realized it was broken). The kitchen is fully stocked in terms of dishware and cooking utensils, but there are only a few pantry items (some spices) and nothing refrigerated (butter, etc.). The Cliffs is overall a great complex. The pool is wonderful (we went several times a day!) and the sport courts offer lots to do. But note that the bikes are pretty run-down and there are only five available for the entire complex. This unit is not directly overlooking the Cliffs, but it's a short walk to the northernmost edge where there are beautiful lawns and chairs for watching sunsets. Kauai is a loud place, owing to the constant crowing of wild roosters. The humidity requires open doors and windows all night. And there are a few extra noises in this unit. So all in all, this is not a place to come if you require complete quiet. Earplugs and/or sleep headphones are a must. Check-in/out requires the additional step of picking up keys at the property management's office in Lihue and then also checking in at the Cliffs for pool keys and parking permit. The parking costs $15 a day, which was a significant expense that was not mentioned anywhere in the property listing or check-in materials.

The 4 kids had a great time being together and enjoyed the pool, golf, basketball. The grounds and facilities were great. Location wonderful for visiting the barious beaches. The only concern was that our condo did not have window coverings in the kitchen and upper living room windows. The heat was oppresive since we couldn't block the sun coming in.

The lanai is everything you need in HI. Very large, big dining table. Our family of 6 was enjoying the outside area all of time while looking at the ocean views. They have beach chairs, umbrella, kids toys, coolers inside the condo. The Cliffs complex is very well maintained. The pool area is amazing. The location is a few minutes away from Princeville shopping center.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We had other family staying at another location and they spent all their time at our condo!The support and communication we were offered from Kauai Vacation Rentals was incredible. They helped us with a few minor issues at the condo efficiently and successfully.And when we forgot a few items in the washer (our mistake), they were prompt to go to the unit, pick up said items and ship them immediately back to us. Look no further than this very special unit, absolutely amazing!

Very nice property, excellent location but needs some minor updates

Overall our stay here was great. The place was nice & clean and the location was perfect with a very nice view. Our family of 5 fit very well in this spacious unit with no issues. The unit had just about all the items we could have asked for. The community amenities too were excellent (pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, many grills to choose from and views from the cliffs were amazing). Couple items though that should be noted that prevented us from giving it a full 5 stars. For starters the dishwasher didn’t work, no power, nothing. Also there were only 2 bath towels for the whole unit which was very strange for a place that sleeps 6. We had 4 beach towels but after coming back from the beach and getting clean, drying off with a wet sandy towel is far from ideal. Also several dishes, cups and pots were either cracked, chipped or scratched up pretty bad. Finally, the decor of the place requires some getting used to as there are so many nicknacks on the walls and shelves, not a big deal just something to note. Again we had a lovely time and look forward to our next Hawaii family vacation. Highly recommend staying at the Cliffs where this unit is located as it’s very nice.

Spacious unit and great location!

This spacious unit provided a wonderful getaway in Princeville with an unobstructed view of the ocean. the kitchen was well stocked, we had towels for showering, pool and beach and the lanai made for a perfect gathering space. My only negative is that it is packed with knick knacks which can be overwhelming, so if you are someone who prefers an uncluttered decor this home is not for you. Overall an incredible stay!

comfortable getaway with ocean view

My family and I just spend the holidays at this comfortable getaway perfect for our family of four. Plenty of room, comfortable, and nicely stocked. Well designed unit with generous volume, good light, and views. We ate every meal on the lanai with the calming ocean and mild weather. It is conveniently located next to Hanalei with a lot to do. Princeville is a good hub for the basics. The pool/hot tub was a nice option as well as coffee or a cocktail on the cliff overlook. Great place to unwind after outdoor activities(hiking the Kalalau trail, surfing at hanalei bay, kayaking in the hanalei river, snorkeling at anini beach, kayaking/hiking to a waterfall in the wailua river, etc).

I was home

My children and I spent a week in Kauai. As you can imagine, our days were often busy, long, and tiresome. It felt great coming home and relaxing. The rental felt like home to us. It was beautifully decorated with incredible views. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning. We had dinner there almost every night. And a few lunches thrown in the mix as well. The kitchen became my own. It had almost everything I needed to prepare meals for us and plenty of space for our temporary additions as I travel with some of my own cooking things as well. Everything was clean, organized, and functional. It was a small, yet a beautiful looking kitchen area. We went during a particular time where some of the nights cooled off. Having the windows cracked helped our restless bodies sleep that much more comfortable with a slight chill breeze rolling in every now and again. And during the rare nights that were too warm, the fans helped a bit as well. I love the fresh air so the windows remained open. There’s no AC, but we adjust as necessary. Having two bathrooms saved us so much time as we either got ready to go out or got ready for bed. I didn’t realize how important something like that could be when you’re trying to make every minute count. The pool and hot tub area was gorgeous. Though we spent most of the time enjoying the island, it was a treat to relax in the hot tub or end the night with a quick swim. Having the ability to do laundry in the home is a must for any family traveling on vacation. I would start laundry while the children were bathing and by the time I showered, laundry was done and ready to be folded. We can pack less things because the ability to wash is always available. I highly recommend staying here if you prefer a place that feels more like home. I would definitely return and hope to do so again soon. Thank you for opening your home to us.
