Modern design meets rustic decor in this charming and cozy villa. Located in a quiet area in Duge Njive close to Makarska.

It provides a perfect backdrop for a relaxing, carefree and comfortable holiday. It is ideal for a get-away or family vacation.

The villa consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has a beautiful view of the mountain.

Villa Rustica has a large pool ,7*3.5m, that provides complete privacy. Next to the house is a barbecue and covered area perfect for outdoor dining.

Everything in the house, and around it, is yours to enjoy. There are a lot of plants, vegetables and fruit trees that you can pick from at your leisure. Also available to guests is the option of purchasing fresh free range eggs, organic free range chicken, local cheeses and other items.

Duge Njive is located 15 km from the town of Vrgorac. Villa Rustica is a 25 minute drive to the tourist town of Makarska, located along the coast.

Also, the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a 30 minute driving so you can easily visit Mostar or Međugorje.

This area is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and unspoiled nature.

If you are reading this review, don’t hesitate…. Book now! This property is more than we could have ever imagined. The views to the mountains are amazing and the whole outside space is so peaceful and full of beautiful plants and wildlife. The pool was clean and exactly what we needed after a hot days travelling. Inside is immaculately clean and tastefully done. Beautiful artwork and colour in every room. The kitchen has everything you need and we were even greeted with local ham, cheese and wine and a few extras! This was the perfect base to explore the Dalmatian coast, but you definitely need a car. The host, Delores, was so helpful with really clear instructions and was only a messsge away if we needed anything (thank you so much) We are a family of four, two adults plus two girls (10 and 12) and we all loved this place so much…. We truly didn’t want to leave. If you like rural, natural, peaceful and relaxing you won’t regret staying at Villa Rustica.

Serene and heavenly.

Villa Rustia was the most beautiful and serene property I’ve ever stayed at. The home is gorgeously crafted. The pool is perfect and private. It had all of the amenities I expect. The garden and pool area made me feel like I was staying at my own personal high-end resort. My only regret was not scheduling more nights here. Best place I’ve ever stayed.

An incredibly magical home in the best location to truly enjoy vacation!

We had the pleasure of staying at this home recently as a family including two kids. It truly was magical, surrounded by so much beauty of the area - incredibly private, and the most stunning view of the mountains. It's breathtaking - waking up to the sound of birds and nature all around you. The smell of lavender greets you from the minute you enter the property. The home is close to major attractions in the area, and the best part is after spending a day at the beach or visiting many local attractions, you come back a quiet oasis. The pool is spectacular, the outdoor seating is wonderful, and on the inside it's an incredibly comfortable home exactly as pictured. We felt at home immediately. As hosts, Dolores and her husband set the standard for what it means to be a host - from communication before we arrived, and during the stay, they were always a message away. Our flight was extremely delayed, and when we arrived at the home, we were greeted with the biggest smile and a fridge with goodies to get us started. We miss the home already, and can't wait to come back in the very near future!

Stunning villa in the perfect location

Villa Rustica is the most amazing villa - and we have stayed in quite a few rentals over the passed 15 years. Dolores, the owner, is one of the loveliest people you could meet. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always at the end of the phone (text) if you need her. The villa and outside areas are exceptional and spotlessly clean and tidy. The views of the mountains from the pool are amazing. Everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms is there. And there is plenty of hot water for a lovely, powerful shower. What sets this villa apart is the location. You can easily do a day trip to Split and Dubrovnik - we even did a trip over the border to Mostar in Bosnia. The Makarska Riviera is just half an hour drive away, with plenty of things to do and see. But the icing on the cake is a wonderful restaurant (Konoba Argentina), which is just a 3 minute walk from the villa. It's rare to find a perfect villa, in such a peaceful, picturesque location and have somewhere to eat and drink without anybody having to drive. Having said that, the BBQ at the villa is great too!! If you want to relax in a little piece of heaven, Villa Rustica is definitely for you.

Beautiful Remote Place

We searched as a group of Friends for Something relaxing Not too far off a City and found this gorgeous place. We stayed there most of the time grilling, relaxing at the Pool and enyoing the quiet athmosphere of the Region. Makarska, which is a 25 Minute Drive away is also worth a visit with its beach, markets and delicious sea foods. Dolores as a Host was very welcoming and Kind towards us and we are grateful for her time and stay. The Villa itself is nicely fitting the Name 'Rustica' as it combines a more Vintage furnishing with a large and modern exterieur, making it very easy to feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it.

La maison est très jolie et bien équipée, la piscine très agréable et la vue magnifique. Elle est très tranquille. Dolores est adorable et très serviable ! Nous avons passé 2 semaines superbes.

Exceptional location in a beautiful area

The home is perfect with all you can expected when you like to be an a peace area : Beautifull view on the hill, a lot of hiking area to do and same for the bike. Home is well located, not so far from the beautifull sea (20 minutes) and the main town Split or Dubrovnick or very typical village. The owners, Dolores and husband, are really charming and welcoming people. All you need they do ! very disposal before, during and after . Thanks a lot again for all and this beautifull holidays in your beautifull country.

Wonderful place

We had the most wonderful stay a week in July. The House is lovely with everything you need for the perfect holiday. The beds are really good and the kitchen has everything you need. The pool is nice and clean. The view from the big terrace is magnificent and you can grill your fish and meat on the barbecue fire place. There are a big garden with vegetables you can cook for dinner. Dolores and her husbond are the perfect hostes. They are extremely helpfull with everything and respond in no time. I would recommend this House for everyone who are looking for the perfect quiet place with luxury and wonderful nature.

Super location

Wer die Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Ausblick ist gigantisch, das Haus gemütlich eingerichtet und der Pool ist das I-Tüpfelchen. Die Fotos entsprechen zu 100% der Realität. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und fürsorglich. Wir können das Haus nur weiter empfehlen und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.
