From sun up to sundown, this gulf-front, gorgeous condominium on the 10th floor of Emerald Towers in Destin has a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico like no other. You get the best of the views, the shimmering sands, and the vast blue-green Gulf of Mexico, straight ahead and magnificent clear view of the sunset to the west.

You will feel like you are in heaven!and you sip your morning coffee on your private balcony overlooking the crystal clear waters and plan your day ahead. You can take a stroll on the beach, take a dip in the pool, work up a sweat in the fitness room. Bring your racket for a challenging game of tennis. Walk to one of Destin's fine restaurants or just relax at the beach and sink your toes in the powdery white sand.

This unit has all the comforts of home with 3 flat screen TVs, DVD players, VCR and stereo, and all the tools you would need in a kitchen to make a gourmet meal or a snack.

This unit has two bedrooms,and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed that is as comfortable as clouds. The guest room has two twin beds. The living room has a queen-size pull-out sofa.

Emerald Towers is centrally located close to Big Kahuna's, water and amusement parks, shopping stores and many fine restaurants.

Emerald Towers is 1 mile from mid-Bay Bridge and Destin Commons, Destin's newest shopping and family entertainment complex.

Let me start by saying that I have stayed at Emerald Towers since 1987. The location is great and the views are amazing. It’s very convenient being right on the beach. This could be a great condo if the owner would do some updates. I wish someone would have posted before I went that NONE of the TVs are Smart TVs, so you cannot stream any of your services such as Netflix or Hulu. The Wi-Fi is very spotty and did not work at times which made it impossible to even watch a movie on our computer or do any work. The condo is nice but overall needs updating as most of the fixtures seem like they’re the originals from the 80s.

Overall, the property was nice, although it did say it was wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms were too small for my chair, i could not get on the balcony and nobody liked sleeping on the mattresses. The pull out bed on the couch didn't have sheets to go with it so sleeping was very uncomfortable. The mattresses can definitely use an upgrade, oh, and none of the tvs we're working. We did like the fact that it was on the beach and in the middle of everything. So it wasn't too far of a drive to go anywhere.

You pay for the view. Overall it was okay. Mattresses are cheap, there were no fitted sheets for the pull out bed. Fridge and dishwasher were very outdated, as well as the bar fridge. We had to buy trash bags because there were only 2 for the kitchen. All in all, I’d probably stay here again.

Cute little condo

Love the proximity to the beach and Harbor Walk! Loved the ocean view from our balcony. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The a/c went down on day 2 and they had it fixed that very evening. Enjoyed our stay!

Awesome view but in need of repairs

Mold in showers and bathroom baseboards coming off.The kitchen had multiple boards falling off cabinets around the sink. With some attention to these details it could be a nice place to stay.Awesome air conditioner the room always felt comfortable

Beautiful View - communication poor

First all what an amazing view and location. The air was not working. No one’s fault things happen, but the first 3 night of sleep were rather warm. I messaged the property manager and told them the air was not working and asked about the hot tub. I didn’t hear anything back so messaged about the air again the next day they said you say it isn’t working and told me it was working and said to be more specific. I just knew it wasn’t working. They could have asked the first day if they needed more specifics instead of letting.The response was rather rude. One of the things I looked for was a hot tub when booking. The manager came back and asked where I was getting hot tub. I went and looked at the description to make sure I had not mistaken. I replied and said it 100% says hot tub. They said they would have it removed from the listing however that did not do me any good. Cleanliness was very average. I knew the decor was outdated and didn’t really care just wanted the view, a hot tub and a pool. Half the outlets didn’t work as well as refrigerator light out. I did not message about this because I didn’t want the poor communication with the manager to stress my vacation and it wasn’t the end of the world just inconvenient. It was the 10th floor and was hoping that it would not be a problem. It was not. If you forgot something at the beach it just took a second to go up as the elevators are fast. I would stay in this location and or property again, probably not this condo. .

Staycation

A 5 Hour Dr. is a hop skip and a jump to this type of ocean and beach experience. Crystal aqua Beach views are priceless.The condo was beautiful and everything we needed since we wanted to feel like we were at home. Morning walks for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and a swim at the pool, followed up with a nice stroll and barbecue on their grills for dinner. The condo was clean and had all of the amenities we needed even seasoned salt. We will definitely be back.

Disappointed

The view was perfect! Inconveniences was the checking in but we were an hr early so I get that. But the gentleman was not helpful with his mannerism . Another reason why we chose the emerald towers is for the hot tub. They don't have one. Oh and the stove doesn't work and some of the burners on stovetop. Bring light bulbs next time.

weekend in Destin

Location is awesome, condo dated but very clean. Very strict checkin policy...if you arrive prior to 4pm you can't access the condo unless you pay an extra $100 we are in our 70's and had to hang around in the parking lot for 45 min until the door code would work at 4pm i have rented all over the world and have never run into this type of policy. landlord did respond quickly beautiful view and close to restaurants

Our Vacation

When we arrived, we were unable to get into our condo, and since it was after "office hours", we had to make several calls, and finally after an hour someone showed up to let us in for the night, but since we could not get back in again, when were unable to leave the condo. We had booked 6 nights, but the the first night was a total bust, and the host did not offer any compensation for this. The condo itself was clean, and the view the beautiful. The only other issue was when we tried using the oven to cook, and it did not work. I did notify the owner when we got back, so hopefully it works for the next person.

Destin stay

We enjoyed Destin and had a great trip. The floors of the condo needs to be mopped better. The outlets need covers on them and the beds need to be updated. The mattresses are horrible. But the view was beautiful and we still had a great time!

Location was great. Cleanliness was great. Great views of the gulf!! Master bed needs updating. A bed of that size and look should definitely be sturdy. It made us really nervous to sleep in it. When checking out I checked under the bed for items that may have been kicked under and noticed that the braces are nearly broken off. I’m glad it held until my party checked out. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
