Tucked into the woods in a quiet neighborhood of McCall, this home will give you plenty of privacy without sacrificing easy access to town. The heart of downtown is just over half a mile north, with many eateries and shops within walking distance. Come summer, you can spend your days swimming, sailing, or paddleboarding at Payette Lake (one mile north), or taking long walks through Ponderosa State Park (two miles north). In the wintertime, snowmobile adventures abound on numerous trails in the area, with downhill skiing at Brundage Mountain only ten miles north.

Fun in McCall

We had a wonderful time. The interior of the home was well organized, comfortable and clean. All needed accessories were available. The front yard was well groomed and inviting. The backyard had very tall weeds that made it difficult to get to the fire pit and the grill on the deck worked but did not get up to temperature. Other than these two last small items it was a perfect get away and we would stay there again.

Things to think about

The house was nice - in a neighborhood which we did not expect. Neighborhood was quiet. Backward was a mess - nothing like the pictures - very useless. The TV arrangement is very poor - being the only TV in the house - much too small. It was disappointing to try and watch movies. Overall, just really needs to be updated. The house is nicely decorated and was cozy. Great size kitchen - pots and pans need to be replaced - many of them are flaking tefflon from the bottom surface - not good. It was nice to be in the home and my family had a great time - it just seems that is time for someone to go in and take a look at things that can be updated. The efficiency and ease of response from VRBO was excellent. Would definitely look to VRBO for a vacation rental.

We liked the floor plan. It worked well for two families with young adult children to share. Location was close to town but not quite close enough to walk in the winter with the snow on sides of street. Very nice neighborhood!

Great quiet location. When we arrived it was very cold and took a bit to heat up from the 50s in the home. Spacious and well equipped. Thanks for sharing the home.

Great time in McCall

We had a great time with no complaints! This house was plenty big for the five of us. we had three children with us ages 7-13. Although this house is in walking distance to some of the restaurants etc. I would recommend driving into downtown if you have small children. Weekends do get pretty busy in McCall, but we had no problems finding parking, especially on the weekdays. The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. I loved the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would stay here again! we loved McCall!

Spacious home, close to everything downtown.

The property is very easy to find, super nice inside, and had plenty of space for myself and 7 other people. Large kitchen, fully stocked with silverware/dinnerware. Thereā€™s a covered patio in the back, where deer will walk right up to you. The bedrooms are spacious, and the garage is available to be parked in (which is nice during wintertime). Not far from the main road, and located close to downtown McCall this property is perfect sized, and placed perfectly for those who want to get away to McCall!

We came for a womanā€™s hockey tournament

When I tried to contact the property management company before 24 hours prior to arrival, I was met with some challenges. The day of they reached out both via text and phone call. We are granted the luxury of checking in early and were very happy with the communication. The house was lovely, the appliances were up-to-date, access was easy, and it slept eight of us with no issue. They were three bedrooms, two of them had a queen bed with two bunkbeds and one was a master with a queen. The mattresses werenā€™t awesome but there ended up being plenty of towels and supplies. We tried to start the laundry before we left but we couldnā€™t find any laundry detergent. Thatā€™s an easy fix. I would absolutely rent this property again!

McCall getaway

The cabin was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We really appreciated the garage for vehicles and gear storage. The wifi was able to handle everyone's devices and the woodstove felt great after winter days outside (bring your own wood). Location was easy for this busy location. Our group was smaller, but could easily handle 6 to 8. Nice place!
