Stunning views of Banderas Bay & the jungle of Mismaloya

Okay vacationers, I have looked at a lot of properties in Puerto Vallarta and this condominium had the best view hands down of any that I viewed. The view is incredible from each room overlooking the jungles and bay of Banderas Bay.

This condominium is the lower unit and one of six units in the tower number two of the Condominums of Laguana located in beautiful Mismaloya. Each tower is composed of 6 units. Note: The road level on the mountain is actually at the Penthouse level so my condo is the bottom floor down the stairs closest to the common pool overlooking the beautiful Mismaloya bay area and beach.

This is truly a very romantic getaway that you will always remember and want to return to year after year.

The property was so quiet and peaceful. The neighbors were super friendly. Really nice pool area. Great beach near by and several wonderful restaurants. 15 min bus ride into P.V. or 5 to Boca.

Great view, great amenities!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view and the suite are outstanding. We love exploring and from this place, you can use the public transportation to go anywhere you choose. I would specify that you should be fairly active to get up and down the mountain as the walk is quite an adventure!

Great View

Property was well maintained including pool & deck area. Convenient taxi service at bottom of the hill to get to the condo as the road up is very steep & quite a walk. Because of the lofty location you get the amazing view.

Excellent views of the water!! Loved the location I could hear the waves. Loved it!!!

Easy access lots of stairs and huge climb up road but I found it a challenge. Owner, property manager we’re both helpful. I can’t wait to go back it’s a nice small village with a nice casita, TV was nice to have with cable. View view view.

Fabulous condo in Mismaloya!

We had a wonderful, wonderful time at Larry’s condo in Mismaloya, our very first time to the area! The condo itself was spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and ideally located for us, just above the pool. And as avid exercisers and fitness devotees, the walk up the hill – sometimes three times each day – really helped us get our steps in! Larry and his team are fabulous house, the neighbors were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the village itself was exactly what we were looking for! You will love staying here!

Beautiful location!

Condo was what we needed; it was very clean and comfortable. We had the pool to ourselves everyday! From the airport, we walked across the walkway, grab a taco from tacon de marlin and grab a taxi there- much cheaper. Had Pig Out deliver our groceries and drinks. Drinkable water is available in condo. Bring walking shoes, the walk to the condo is a workout. We loved it, left that we worked out while having extra food and drinks during the week. Larry is very responsive to questions. Thanks Larry

Little piece of Paradise

We have stayed in many areas on this coast, this condo had the best view by far! Practically had the pool area to ourselves, as this condo is the closest. Its a good climb up the hill and then down the stairs to this level. You will be in good shape. Found a few good restaurants, but unless you go back into PV for groceries, all we found local was lovely fresh fruits and vegies, cheeses and ham ( and of course bread and tortillas) we loved it.

Great views, quiet town

The property was adequate, amazing views are available. The steepness of the location was a major factor for us as we are in our upper 60's with health issues. Having your own car would have helped us to get back up the mountain instead of using a taxi each time. One problem we discovered was the noise from the beach resort activities resonating up the mountain. The pool was a huge benefit to the property. Armando the property manager was amazing and will respond to any questions or problems you have. This areas bay is a nice contrast to the hustle bustle of Puerto Villarta city to the north!

Winter vacation

Thank you Larry for sharing this little piece of paradise- we loved the view. We woke every morning to the sparkling blue water on the bay of Mismaloya. We walked down the steep road and back up many times. Got the bus into Puerto Vallarta often- only 30 minutes to town. The condo is even better than the pictures. The condo was lovely- the neighbours friendly. A very quiet place to vacation- basically private pool. Many steps down to the condo- got us into shape. The owner was quick to reply- Armando and Jugo were there to help if need be.

Quiet Retreat

We had a very relaxing stay at CASA HENSLEY this past January. Larry was a very attentive host who kept checking up on us to make sure that everything was going well. Jorge, the caretaker for the condo was amazing!!! I hope that you love him as much as we did!! Yes, the condo is up the side of a mountain but if you are in relatively good shape this should not be a problem, the walk helped take off some of the calories from all that good food and Tequila that we kept finding. As well, it was only a short 25 minute minute bus ride from PV. Thanks again Larry for letting us enjoy your home!!

Great place, stunning view, perfect getaway!

My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks in January/February. The condo was exactly as we expected from pictures and description. Being on the bottom level, the pool is very convenient and it is quiet and secluded. We walked down to the village or the beach nearly every day, and back up the steep winding road to the condo. As others have mentioned, it is challenging, but we are in our 70’s and managed it with just a couple of stops to cool off and catch our breath. And there are always taxis available to take you up for 70 pesos! Day trips to PV are easy with the bus stop right at the bottom of the hill. The little village of Mismaloya has several good restaurants, and a little grocery store that has fresh vegetables and basic canned and dry goods. Also, there is an OXXO for beverages and convenience items. At the beach you can get a table or lounge chairs as long as you order something to eat or drink. Communication was great with the owner, Larry, and the property manager, Armando, is very attentive to your needs. A wonderful place to get away from it all!

Relaxing vacation

It was a very relaxing stay, the surroundings are a feast for the eye! We spent two weeks here, after having spent another two weeks in the center of PV, and what a change! you can hear the birds and the ocean waves at night and breathe clean air. The windows overlook the Pool and the ocean below - and the view is magnificent! You need to plan ahead for food and drink, as the location is out of town; but if you forgot anything, the village nearby has a few small shops (and restaurants) which can satisfy your immediate needs. It takes about 12 minutes to walk down the slope to the main road or turn towards the village, and you need to be in good shape for it - but the walk through the jungle-like landscape is a pleasure. If you do not have / rent a car, there are taxis almost always near the Barcelo hotel (across the main road) This was our preferred mean of transportation, it takes about half hour to get to the center. There is also a bus stop at the main road. We met a few friendly people, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner was always available via email and promptly responded our inquiries. We would like to return here one day!

Beautiful setting

This condo is great, as others have said , back and forth to the street Mae a struggle, be aware if you have a hip to replaced. A car is very helpful but so are the taxi and bus. Your host Larry is quick to respond and very pleasant,there is an excellent man at the condo that takes care of the property ,you can ask for help or advice. The neighbours are lovely Close by there are water taxis to different beaches at a good price. We enjoyed very much. Thanks Larry

Quiet condo, Excellent views

This is a great little condo, tucked in the side of a mountain, a jungle for your backyard, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean for your viewing pleasure. There is a hike up and down the mountain to get to the condo, which is great exercise, but only for the able, however; you can also call a taxi. The condo owner was a pleasure to work with, and Jorge the property caretaker was great as well. You will need to buy all food supplies, oil, salt etc. as these are not provided. The condo is very close to the pool which was very convenient. Only 10 pesos to get into Vallarta by bus. A great little getaway.

Great view and off the beaten path

Comfortable and a gorgeous view. The condo is clean and Armando was very responsive if we had any problems. You have to go down a few flights of stairs so definitely a spot for able bodied people. We walked to the beach and coming back up the mountain is a hike! The beach isn't too crowded. Lots of vendors but they are very polite. We ate at Juan's in Mismaloya and it was pretty good. Fresh fruit at the market in town and everyone is friendly. It takes 30-40 minutes to get to PV but it's not a bad drive. The location and view from this condo make it a bargain!

The longer we were there the more we loved it!

Truthfully I thought we booked La Jolla de Mismaloya even though there was no mention of that in description but photos looked similar. So when I got directions, You can imagine my surprise and disappointment! We enjoyed it so much it brings tears to my eyes. Even the walk up and down was way better than it looked from taxi but it was also January so lower humidity. Taxi 50 pesos if walk too much for you. Views to die for, better than La Jolla even, Tony’s restaurant, Boca so close for boat excursions and Colomitios hike. And the $20 massages at Mismaloya, OMG! The very last one you walk to is the best. I only had 3 in 5 days! Si, como no!!!

Great spot with incredible views

Perfect little condo for us. Comfortable and has all the basics we needed. Nice building and a great crew of neighbors. The sunsets are perfect.

Great pool

Nice to be near the beautiful pool area. Jorge is a dear, neighbors very nice. Place could use some updating. TV was great. Not charge for washer and dryer. You get used to the steps but the walk up from the bus is quite a hike. It was a good two weeks!

Quiet location with a beautiful view from condo windows and pool area. Easy bus or taxi ride into PV for shopping, dining or entertainment. Just a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay....hoping to return for more fun in the sun in the near future.

Scenic view from condo

The condo was great for a couple. The bedroom was nice and big with a nice view of the water. The bathroom was handy in the bedroom however, guests has to walk through the master suite to use the bathroom. The kitchen was small and difficult for more than one person to use at a time.Needed more kitchen towels and dish cloths. The dining room table was situated along the wall, with no view, the chairs were low. The table was situated in the way of the bar chairs, which made them difficult to get at/use. The living room had a nice view as well. Reasonable comfortable furnishings. Only net flix/utube on TV. The condo was well situated over the beautiful pool. Well shaded pool area. Over all a good stay.
