Relaxing and quiet

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Super close to the beach. House was perfect size for our family of 5. Lots of outdoor activities near including Sunset park. Would comeback again.

Fantastic stay!

The house was clean, and very roomy. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in. The locationwas so nice, definitely a family friendly neighborhood. Owners were very responsive. We had a blast

Beach Week

We had a great week on LBI. The house was clean and comfortable. Just one block from the beach in a beautiful neighborhood. We look forward to returning next year.

Great 2 weeks

We had a great 2 weeks at this property. The owner was great and check in/check out was easy. A block from the beach and a block from the bay - location was great. 4 miles to Barnegat Light Dog Park, which was key for our pup. Couldn’t have been better.

This is the second time that we are staying at this property. The house is as lovely as ever. Our family enjoys our vacation at the beach and this home is the perfect location!

Great House & Location

My family and I absolutely loved our stay in Harvey Cedars! The house is exactly as described and the pictures listed do not do it justice IMO. Thoughtfully decorated and super cute. Perfect amount of space and great layout for my wife and I and 4 & 1 year old kids. We plan to make this an annual trip moving forward! Chuck & Dawn were great hosts, thank you! 5 out of 5 all the way around!

This was our best LBI rental yet!

When we arrived, we instantly fell in love with this property. The space and lighting was amazing and everyone had their own place to sleep! The neighborhood is beautiful and the walk to the beach is just a few moments. The outdoor shower and area for fire pit was incredible. We enjoyed many beautiful moments on the full deck! All of the surrounding shops and restaurants were perfect and we would love to come back here again next year! The owners are amazing, and so accommodating, so kind! We love Harvey cedars and LBI!

Ideal location for a family stay in LBI

Finding the right spot for a family reunion can be a challenge. This place definitely checks several of the major boxes for a perfect trip. First it’s centrally located. A short block to Harvey Cedars marina for kayaking and boating. You can exit the back gate and you're just down a short block to the beach. In fact the unit Has a view of the beach dunes from the back deck. The unit is comfortable and attractively decorated in beach chic. I thought it looked much nicer in person than the online photos reflect. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds and very quiet. Clean functional but somewhat dated full bath and half bath in the unit. Nice outdoor shower with good water pressure is a nice plus. Unit is pet friendly. The wraparound balcony on the upper deck was a sweet (and secure) surprise to our furry family members. Owners were quick to respond with some questions about the unit. House rules are pretty straightforward and we didn’t have the onerous checkout checklist that other properties annoy you with. I highly recommend this rental unit and would gladly stay there again.

GREAT SPOT!

We had a wonderful stay with our two adult children and their significant others. The third bedroom had bunk beds and the lower bunk was a full size bed (plus there was an additional twin bed in the room) which served well for a third "couple." However, our favorite part of the house was the large outside wrap around deck and big open kitchen/living room area. The entrance to the beach was a short walk & could be seen from the deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee and cocktails after a day at the beach. The beach itself was not crowded and beautiful. We appreciated not having to rush up there first thing in the morning to "stake a spot." Instead we had leisurely mornings and had plenty of space when we got there in the late morning. Around the corner was an adorable coffee shop that also had delicious sandwiches to pack for the beach and 2 blocks away is the bay and a small beach for dogs to swim. We did this every morning with our lab who also had an awesome vacation! Note: there is a dog park at Barnegat Light but we were not allowed to enter without a pass; we did not realize that was required but were told it is easy to get for the next time. We ate at Black Eyed Susan's and other nice local restaurants all within a mile. Overall, a great spot & we would definitely go back!

Enjoyed the views of front , back and all around the house are dog Fox loved the wraparound deck.Outside grill was not good for cooking on had to use oven in house but I needed to clean it first.

Perfect & Affordable Beach Getaway

This was the absolute perfect rental! Close proximity to the beach (a literal 2 minute walk), with bay-side views a short walk as well! I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn & Chuck before checking in - they are the nicest people and made sure that our stay went on w/zero issues (even offering their personal # to reach them in case we needed anything!) The property was spotless upon check-in, was comfortable, and had that true "beach-home" vibe...just what we were looking for on our week-long vacation! I would not hesitate to rent this property again...thanks so much!

Excellent location, super clean, bright and airy charming beach house.

The house was super clean! Thank you! The house is much more charming than the pictures would suggest. While the bathrooms look like they are original to the house, they were amazingly clean and well maintained. I was a little concerned when looking at the photos but was very pleasantly surprised! Favorite part of the house is the open living/kitchen space - nice and bright and the right size for our family. It has windows on three walls - much better than being in a cramped dark space. The beach is a very short walk away - head down and out through the back gate. You can see the beach entrance from the back deck. Want to crab? A short stroll to the bay. Great vacation stay. Thank you.

Comfortable house in a great location

Our family enjoyed the week at this comfortable house in LBI. 1 short block to the beach, and about 3 blocks to a lovely vantage point for sunsets over the bay. Large, bright common area, 3 comfortable bedrooms, and a great wrap around porch. Loved eating dinner on the deck. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed for preparing simple vacation meals. Great pizza place and deli about 1/2 mile up the road. Easy communication with the owner.

Cute home close to the beach

We are always a little nervous about staying on the bayside since we have 2 little kids and don’t want a long walk to the beach, but this home is very conveniently located just one short block away. The owners are very kind, and quick to respond to any questions.

Great stay in Harvey Cedars!

Cute house with lovely views and easy walk to the beach. You can tell the owners really care for their home. Sweet touches (loved the solar lamps!) everywhere.

Even better than we had hoped!

We were very happy with the layout of the house for our family. Spacious living room/kitchen. Great proximity to beach. Very safe area for kids to bike and for walking. We were pleasantly surprised with everything about this rental and the owners were very kind and responded to all questions quickly. We hope to make this our annual family vacation spot.
