From the hand hewn log bedroom to the hand hewn beams in the 23ft vaulted ceilings this home has it all. Custom granite counters and oak wood floors you wont be disappointed. Sitting on 5 acres, this 5 bedroom, with 3 full and 2 half baths has everything a large family would need to have the perfect mountain getaway. Just 2.7 miles from town everything you need is close by, yet the home sitting on 5 acres feels like your are the only ones on the mountain.
The home consist of 3 levels the Main floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 queen and 1 king bed, plus the bonus room, which is a daybed with pull out trundle, 1.5 baths with a full kitchen, living, dining & sun porch, as well as a 2 car attached garage. The main level has wrap around porches with panoramic views of the continental divide as well as Pagosa Peak.
The loft area has a large living/recreational room with foosball table, sectional couch, futon, and tv/dvd player, 1 bath with custom slate shower with rock floors.
The basement includes a full kitchen, living, dining, 2 bedrooms 1 queen, 1 king, & 1.5 baths, as well as a wrap around porch and the brand new 7 person bullfrog hot tub. The basement includes 12 ft porches with the same views as the main floor area.
The best thing about this home is you can have multi family vacations and everyone has their own space. You have two of everything with this home! The home is stocked with everyday items you will need for your vacation including bath soaps, luxury towels, bed linens and hair dryers in each full bath.

Please enjoy with a few restrictions: We are a smoke/vape and pet free home, and as we love the relaxed laws of Colorado please no marijuana in the home.

Noise levels must be kept to a level as to not disturb the neighbors. This includes music sitting inside with windows open or outside communicating at a loud volume. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Loud profane language is not tolerated.

The host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house is stunning and the views are unbeatable! We had 11 guests (5 being kids 8 and under) and they were never bored with playing outside or inside (It’s a great house for hide and seek)! The list of favorite restaurants in the guest book are now our favorites as well. This house is a great location; easy to get to Durango for the train and easy to get up to Wolf Creek. We also had family pictures taken on the property because the scenery is unbeatable! My family highly recommends this house.

My second time renting and plan to go back

Incredible panoramic view

Very attentive host. We were greated with a basket full of goodies and a basket full of hot chocolates. The home was spacious and can easily sleep 15. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sunset on the mountains. We made great use of the large dinning room tables using one for our 1000 piece puzzle. The double floor plan was perfect for having two football games going on each level. We enjoyed seeing turkeys and elk in the neighborhood. We will definitely be looking to book this home again.

Awesome!!!

This house was perfect for our family/friends trip. The view was beyond amazing. We were only minutes from town, yet once at the home, we seemed a million miles away from everyone. Much of our stay was spent setting on the deck watching the elk watering below. The layout of the house afforded privacy for all. We are already making plans to come back and adding to the size of our group. Jennifer was great to work with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place to stay while in Pagosa!!!

We have been visiting Pagosa for a weeks stay going on 7 years (not counting Covid yrs), and we always rent a VRBO for our stay. We have stayed at this particular home previously. The home has been remodeled and it was a much nicer stay this time around. The deck and views from the deck are spectacular. The home affords plenty of room, and space for folks to spread out. The Wi-Fi is suspect, so if you need to perform work functions or something of importance, you will probably need to drive in closer to town. Overall the home, host, and manager were top notch. Highly recommend this home for your stay in Pagosa.

Our stay in Pagosa Springs was amazing. Jen is a most gracious host making sure our stay in the cabin was perfect. The cabin is private yet close to everything. It was most comfortable and had all that was needed and more. We will be back!

Perfect Mountain Holiday

This home was perfect for our family Christmas in the mountains. There were plenty of linens (towels, rags), the home was very clean, there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some extra toothbrushes. This home was stocked with basic necessities, (such as stuff to cook and bake with, plates, cups, etc as most do not have that many items as this house did) which was perfect as there is always something you seem to forget when going on vacation. The kcups for the Keurig was a nice addition as well as the welcome basket with goodies for the kids and the hot cocoa. This home was perfectly decorated for Christmas. There were 10 of us, but the home was evenly spaced out so that we did not feel crowded in any way. We thoroughly enjoyed this home. We did end up leaving 1 day early as there was a snow storm coming in and we did not want to be stranded or stuck, just in the chance it did get as bad as the weather stated.

Amazing views!

What a great vacation home with terrific views! The house was plenty big for my family with our 15 month old grandson. The owners provided (and installed) baby gates, pack and play and high chair. The whole house was beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals. And the views off the back porches were stunning! We spent every evening enjoying the cool weather and views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Amazing location!

For a family gathering, it was perfect. We were greeted by a basket of candy and each bathroom had a toothbrush and toothpaste. Really was a fantastic place to enjoy the amazing views!!! Was greeted by elk, deer and gorgeous sunrises. Loads to do in the area. Will keep this place in mind again for the future!

So it's one thing to be with your family with shared bathrooms, but no ensuite bedrooms? When you are with people you see once every couple of years....not so cool. What a silly home lay out. All shared baths. I am sure it was an assumption on my part that there would at least be one, but this was a little unusual for the current time.

Great multi family home

Winter Wonderland

The house was perfect for our big group. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space when needed. The views from the back deck are amazing. The sleds that were in the garage were a huge hit. Pagosa Springs had lots to offer all of us. The springs were so nice and the park nearby had great sledding hills. It snowed every day, so the roads were a little treacherous if you didnt have 4 wheel drive. So glad the Christmas decorations were left for us to enjoy. They were beautiful. Thanks for everything.

Fabulous home & stunning views

This home is truly remarkable! The views are amazing at every turn, and the home is well-stocked and super comfortable. We’ve never spent Christmas in the mountains, and this home made this holiday extra special for our family. The almost identical two floors are perfect to give folks privacy and to allow football and a movie to be watched on separate floors, while the upstairs loft with foosball was ideal for the young adults and teens. I’d stay here again and again!

Awesome View!

We had a very nice time at this property. Our family is growing and with the 3 levels it allowed us to spread out. Everyone was very comfortable. The 2 kitchens worked great for our Thanksgiving meal preparation. Close to City Market and Walmart made it very convenient for last minute shopping. It was also a short distance to downtown and the hot springs. Overall, a great place to stay with a large family.

I am a mother to two beautiful girls and married for 22 years to my husband Lance. I manage this property for my parents. Growing up in Texas we often would vacation to Pagosa and absolutely love the area so we knew we would one day want a home here. The location of Pagosa puts you right in the heart of Southwest Colorado with driving access to Durango, Silverton, Ouray & Telluride.My parents searched high and low for the best view and I think we may have found it :) My family currently lives in TX, we have a full time property manager in Pagosa that can manage our home while we are away, however, we try and make it up to Pagosa country multiple times per year.

My parents purchased the home late 2015 after over a year of searching Pagosa for the perfect property for our family. We have been vacationing to Pagosa for years and knew eventually we would have to have a permanent residence here to one day retire. We share many memories in this wonderful town and decided that we would open our home to rent for a few years before we ultimately retired here in paradise. By the way have you noticed the view off the back decks yet? We encourage you to use and treat the home as if it were your own and make the best memories while you are here. Feel free to contact us should any problems arise, most of all enjoy your time here.
