This was our second time staying here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay both times. The property is clean, spacious, has great updates, and is in an excellent location. The hosts are gracious and communicate well. This will be our choice any time we return to Kiawah.

Beautifully Renovated Home-Great Layout

We loved staying in this house. It has been recently renovated, and it is gorgeous, exactly like the pictures. The layout is awesome. We are an extended family of nine with three generations, and we couldn't have found a better setup for our group. The kitchen is very well-equipped and supplied; we cooked a lot and never wanted for the right tool. There are lots of different spaces for people to hang out: A den, a living room, both with televisions. They have a card table, a large dining room table, and lots of seating at the kitchen island. They have plenty of books, games, and puzzles on hand. The host communicates clearly and frequently. It's a ten-minute walk to the beach, and we might not have found the closest access point. There is a gorgeous view of a pond from the giant deck. All in all, we would be thrilled to stay here again. I have only good things to say.

Very nice home. We had a wonderful stay. Only need to mention that the twin beds seemed smaller than usual for adults to sleep in and the thermostat was not staying where we had set it.

Perfect Beach House. Wonderful and Gracious Owners

Vanderhorst Plantation is the perfect beach house...clean, roomy and everything worked! We had two families staying there....4 parents and 5 adult children. There was more than enough seating in all rooms and the abundance of refrigerator space was greatly appreciated!! The owners went over and beyond in ensuring a wonderful experience!

Another great stay

Happy to return to this property for the second time. Wonderfully gracious space where everything is clean and everything works. The small details here really make it one of the best Kiawah properties - things like ample and matching glassware, a decent grill, a double oven, ect. Thanks to the owners for making it one of the best spots on the island.

This is a beautiful property, and is obviously very well cared for. We had a great stay, with good communication from the homeowner and absolutely no problems.

Beautifully done, short ride to the beach

The redone interior of this house is about as close to perfect as I've seen. It was also the cleanest property I've ever stayed at in Kiawah. Most others are, but this really took it up a level. While I'd still recommend bike over walking to the beach at this distance, the roads were not busy and I found them to be very bike/ped friendly, perfect for young kids on bikes. The abundant fridge space helped avoid the dreaded extra Kiawah grocery store trips. Can't go wrong here.

Fabulous vacation!!

Our vacation was wonderful on 235 Glen Abbey! The house was top notch. Fully stocked kitchen, great size bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and more. Location was perfect for riding bikes to the beach or even walking. Owner was easy and sweet to work with and made sure our stay was great. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing!!!!

We had the most fabulous vacation in Kiawah staying at this incredible home!!!! Nancy and Rob were amazing and very responsive. Their home is beautifully decorated and has a very well stocked kitchen given our family loves to cook. The beach is close and we can't wait to return for another magical vacation. One of our very best multi-generational family vacations ever!

Lovely home!

We enjoyed our stay in this newly updated home in a great spot. Kiawah is gorgeous! Fantastic floor plan... spacious and room for all ! Everything was in pristine condition. We would come back here again. Owners were great in responding.

This is our second time to stay at 235 Glen Abbey - and again, we found the home to be so clean, spacious, and very well equipped in every way. Enjoyed our stay so much - and the owners were so quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Thanks for sharing your home with our family. I dont think the pictures do justice to this beautifully decorated property that was also very well equipped from all aspects. There were ten of us and we had more than enough space for everyone to be together as well as find a quiet nook . We would highly recommend this property and would stay there again

Perfect house for any occasion!!!! Great location, beautiful view, huge porch space and living areas, my family stayed here while visiting for my son’s wedding and we couldn’t have found better house for them!!

Exceptional House for our family!

This is one of the best properties we've stayed at on Kiawah. It is larger than expected with lots of comfortable spaces to enjoy. We especially loved the cozy sitting room off of the open kitchen, the bunk room with private TV/den, and the incredible view over the lagoon. The house was very clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. Communication was super before and during our stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home, spacious and easy access to the beach!

This house is made for large families. Plenty of bedrooms and beds for adults and children. Having two master bedrooms is a real plus too!

Fantastic vacation rental!

We love this home! Plenty of space for everyone and great proximity to the beach. The huge deck is our favorite gathering spot for drinks and appetizers after a lovely day on the beach. We will be back !

We so enjoyed our long New Year's weekend...Perfect venue for large family

Oh my, this property was the perfect fit for our multi-generational family, ranging from age 10 to 80! The 12 of us had plenty of space to spread out; the gentlemen had their own space with large TV for game watching, while the rest of us had a large den (also with TV) for merry making. We hope to visit this property again.
