Be the first guests to relax and unwind at our quaint Summer Lake #12 townhouse and you will come back again and again. Feel all the comforts of home, while letting your worries go. Relaxation begins the moment you walk in to this newly designed townhouse just a block to the beach.

The first floor boasts one large open space with the kitchen looking out to the dining area and living room; plenty of room to stretch out, cook, entertain, play games or watch a movie. The living room opens to a private quaint screened in porch. There is a convenient half bath downstairs. Free Wifi and cable included in this rental.

Upstairs has two bedrooms that each have their own en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a brand new king-size mattress and the guest bedroom has king-size mattress. Both bedrooms and the living are have flat screen TVs. There is also an air mattress for an additional two people.


Enjoy a short stroll to the beach or swim in the quiet complex's pool directly out your front door. Summer Lake is situated in one of the best locations in the Destin Area. Right on Scenic Gulf Dr, you are seconds from the grocery store, popular Silver Sands Outlet Mall with over 110 premium stores, the beach, and restaurants. It is also convenient to all Baytowne Wharf has to offer.

Check in was easy and the check out list was reasonable. The location was great, we loved the pool and proximity to the beach. This property had everything we need to cook and be comfortable.

Great place

Overall stay was pleasant. It was super easy to access the beach. The place was clean and everything was available that was listed on posting. My family enjoyed the stay and will be returning for sure!

Beach trip

It was a great stay! We would love to stay there again. It was just what we needed. My only suggestion is to anchor the dresser or some of the furniture to the wall in case of a toddler pulling at the handle. We had a near accident. It’s really nice and clean, which makes it easy to check in and out. We had a very comfortable stay!

During our stay we had a few minor "maintenance" items that had to be addressed. Other than this the property is in good to excellent condition and nicely located in Miramar Beach FL.

Not our first time staying in this exact location. It was pleasant but not as clean as we had wanted. There was trash under the beds and the bathrooms were not well cleaned. We messaged the host the day after arriving and never heard back. There is no grill for use during stay.

Location was great

Pro: Location. Close to everything. Close to the beach Con: Our internet was down on day one. I contacted the property management via email and phone and NEVER got anything back. Floors were dirty!

Wifi

I was having problems connecting the wifi to the TVs in the home and i messaged the owner and nobody responded back. Had to figure it out on my own after and our of trying i got it. Other then that. Home was good! Enjoyed the pool!

Great Family Vacation

With 3 kids it was right beside the pool, close to the beach and we could walk to stores and restaurants without any of them complaining about how far it was. Everything was so close and convenient! The townhouse was more than what I imagined. When we walked in it was inviting, clean and exactly what we needed. I had a problem finding which was totally my fault and the company was quick to answer my call and was so friendly and helpful. I would book this over and over again.

Close to Beach / Good Family Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in the same condo complex in the past, and this location met our expectations. Kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels. The condo was spacious enough for our family (2 adults; 2 kids -- pre-teen and teenager). We look at VRBO rentals as if we were staying at a relative's place. In other words, every place will have issues, but you wouldn't necessarily grumble about them to your aunt/cousin, etc. The sliding door at the back was unlocked at our arrival (guess uncle George forgot to put the stick in the slider again!). There was a very large cockroach in one of the upstairs bedrooms when we arrived and another on the kitchen counter the day we left. (Guess cousin Joe forgot to have the place sprayed recently!) Dishwasher had been run but the soap hadn't dissolved, etc. If you look past such things or convince yourself they're just part of visiting this area of Florida, you'll be much happier (I'd read reviews about the cockroaches, so was prepared to be flexible and ignore them). The location is great, and we'd likely stay here again if only because it's so convenient to the beach and the Winn-Dixie. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit! Oh, and there was a welcome gift waiting for us on arrival, so that was very sweet.

Convenient location

Property was just a short 3 minute walk to the beach and nearby grocery store. This place had all that we needed in terms of space! It would be nice to at least have basic salt and pepper in the kitchen, while all the pots pans and utensils are provided you are bare when it comes to spices, coffee filters, trash bags etc. the only other negatives are that the bed in the larger bedroom (I would assume is the master) is terribly hard and uncomfortable, it would also be a good idea to some pest control in there. Overall our stay was good and enjoyable.

Decent except for cockroaches “palmetto bugs”

Good location. Not very clean. Immediately upon arrival we found a very much alive nasty cockroach. I immediately reached out to the owner who told me it was a “palmetto bug” and not to worry about it. Which IS a cockroach. We found another one on our 3rd day and the owner never even emailed me back. I definitely won’t stay here again. We also found a ton of sand in the living room and crumbs under the tables. Overall not very clean. With regard to the cockroaches, I understand bugs are part of every environment but these things are large and nasty and we shouldnt be disregarded. It would be like finding ticks everywhere in the Midwest.

Needs some work

Visited in Jan -feb temps in the 40’s slider was old and leaked air, so place cold most of the time. They also were in the middle of replacing steps on staircase never finished them even though they said they only needed a day so we lived with exposed 2x6 boards. Closet was also used as storage for material for steps so lost closet for storage

Interesting Townhouse/Condo

This property was in a great location as far as being able to walk to anything! It was a nice and quiet neighborhood and easy access. I wish it had been a little better maintained so that our stay would have been even better. The day we were to arrive they were installing new flooring and didn't complete it so not only were there extra pieces of wood and trim laying around, the floors were completely filthy. We also had issues with the master bedroom bed frame being broke and we had to kill two large bugs that were in the house also. This place really wanted us to hate it but we did love the easy access of it to chick-fil-a , the grocery store and the beach. Hopefully they will take my suggestions and turn this place into what it truly could be. A home away from home.

Labor Day get away

My husband and I came down for a last minute get away. The property was cozy, close to the beach and well kept. The townhome was stocked with every thing we needed! We would stay there again !

Our stay

The place in a good location. The front bedrooms door doesn’t close properly, looks like the door frame is not in properly. A few things weren’t mounted to the walls correctly. Also our friends found a cockroach in there bedroom. I’d advise looking into that as well.

Comfortable Condo near the beach

She and her friend loved the possibilities that they could do almost anything they wanted by walking or using the bikes provided at the condo. We will be back!
