Our stay and usage of the property was lovely. We had a good portion of our wedding party staying on site for the weekend of our wedding. John made communication very easy and the only thing that would have made our visit better was providing towels. The property did not provide bathroom towels which made it a bit complicated for out of state visitors, but other than that it met all of our needs and the view is gorgeous!

Girls weekend trip

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. Everything was well managed. John was very kind and a wonderful host. Recommending this to everyone!

Lorena and her group were terrific guests. They took great care of the home and enjoyed the property. I would recommend them to other owners and would certainly welcome them back!

Great property for a group. We loved the outdoor space and black stone. Having two units was great for multiple families. Lots of space for kids. Owner is very responsive. Could use some updated amenities inside examples: extremely hot upstairs and cold downstairs, mattresses and pillows are rough, had to buy a variety of things such as plastic cups so we weren’t using glass outdoors. Also said to bring towels- and they mean every towel including kitchen and hand towels- we didn’t even think of those. Overall a great place for a lake vacation where most of your time will be spent outdoors!

Was perfect for our family of 12. Having 2 bldgs and 2 kitchens was a godsend… the “kids” ( ages 28-35) had their own late night hang out while we elders could turn in early. Our host was right there to repair the internet when it wasn’t working but NEVER interfered.. LOVED the electric awnings that provided shade both on the deck and at lakeside; was quiet and beautifully maintained. Only downside were weeds in the beach area which is no fault of the host. We swam around and thru them to enjoy the perfect deep water and raft. Great place!!

Sunset Lake- Waupaca

The property was pretty much everything advertised. The home and the Annex were clean and comfortable. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. The lake view was wonderful and, with the immediate area designated “no wake,” quite peaceful. Our family of 18 was very comfortable and enjoyed a truly relaxing stay. The kids took full advantage of the basketball and volleyball courts and everyone enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding and other activities in and near the water. And the fishing was great! The property manager was very easy to work with and very responsive. We would definitely choose this property again!!!

The property was absolutely beautiful, and we loved all the extra amenities that set it apart from other rentals. Having access to kayaks, paddle boards, a dock, and a swim platform was fantastic, and the automatic canopies on both the large back deck and down by the water were great additions. We also used the Blackstone grill almost every day!The house and property were incredibly clean and tucked far enough off the main road that traffic was never an issue. Everything promised in the listing was provided.A few things to note for future guests: while the location is off the highway and peaceful, the houses are quite close together. It didn't bother us, but if you're looking for total seclusion, it’s something to keep in mind. Additionally, some of the house rules made it seem like there may have been issues with loud groups in the past; if you have high-energy children, you might want to review those rules beforehand. Lastly, the landscaping crew wasn't the most courteous on our final morning. They began circling the property and our vehicles while we were packing up, which added some unnecessary stress as we tried to hit the 10:00 AM checkout. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay!

Amazing property - Amazing host

Property was awesome and in a great location. Property owner was extremely friendly and helped us and our kids out numerous times. We can’t wait to go back.

Everything I expected

Property is a described and seen in pictures. Beautiful view of the lake from the house. Lake access and use of kayaks/ paddleboards was great.

Great house, great location

We had a group of 12, ranging in age from 2 to 62. The property is clean, quiet and comfortable. John was easy to work with and close by - he lives next door! Beach access was great for the kids, and the lake is clean (and a no-wake zone). We had great weather and were able to eat outside on the porch; if it were raining we would have struggled to fit everyone around the dining room table. Kitchen is well-stocked and has good appliances
