You will enjoy the quiet beauty of this amazing one bedroom cottage. Large private redwood deck with fire pit, yoga carpet, complete privacy. Storage for recreational equipment and fully furnished and able to accommodate four guests. We offer coffee and other beverages along with a variety of snacks. Camino is a beautiful mountain community 50 miles from South Lake Tahoe and 30 miles to the nearest ski resort. Many, many wineries, breweries and orchards specifically developed for visitors. In addition, we are 20 miles from Folsom and other vibrant suburb communities. This private cottage is a perfect getaway, yet close to all the modern conveniences.

OUR ANNUAL APPLE HILL WEEKEND

This was a beautiful home-away-from-home cottage, perfect for my friend and I! The area is peaceful and quiet and the amenities provided were above and beyond! Would definitely love to stay again!

Wonderful Camimo Stay

A small, cozy, clean and comfortable detached apartment. Lots of stairs down to apartment, the bed is queen sized, the couch and chair are comfy and the deck is a great place to relax and BBQ

Perfect getaway

Less than 5 minutes from Apple Hill and 10 minutes from downtown Placerville, but across the highway from the Apple Hill thoroughfare, this cottage is perfectly located to enjoy the best of the region. It was clean and comfortable, we loved the fireplace, and the snack basket was well-thought out and a wonderful addition. The owners were available for questions, but left us to ourselves, and the peaceful sunset view from the back porch made for a beautiful end to the day. Highly recommended.

Weekend visit

This property was perfect! It was so comfy and cozy I couldn’t wait to return each night. I love the fireplace as it was nice on the cold wet nights we had while I was there. The place was just perfect! The drinks and snacks were an awesome treat! I plan on staying at this rental when I’m town visiting my family in the future! Everything was just thought out perfectly!

Beautiful guest house and location

This is a gorgeous guest house and the views from the balcony are wonderful. Well-stocked and very nicely designed. With a brand new underpass nearby, access to the wineries north of Hwy 50 and Apple Mountain Golf Course

Perfect Stay

This place was so cozy and we really felt a sense of home. David and Kristy were so generous and helpful with any questions we had. They always got back to me, when I asked any questions. This place was really more than what we expected. We got so much joy out of this beautiful place. Smelt good, clean and many items were available for us. The snacks, extra food and drinks were much appreciated. Even greeted us with a special gift, which made the stay that much more enjoyable. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in these neck of the woods. We will be back!

Sweet Touches

The cottage was very cozy, with homey touches, like pictures and plaques that had sweet sayings, a snack basket and a vast selection of beverages in the fridge. Our favorite thing was the deck overlooking a wooded area to the west where we watched marvelous sunsets. The fire pit warmth allowed us to continue there through the evening. Our only difficult part was traversing the stairs down to the unit with my recent knee surgery and my nieces sea level lungs.

Such a GEM of a place to stay...

We absolutely loved our stay at this little GEM of a place. It has all you need and MORE!!! So cozy and easy to just relax and enjoy the view...It was hard for us to leave each day because we enjoyed just hanging out in the place...Hosts are awesome, so pleasant and accommodating...They did not leave any stones un-turned when creating a warm and welcoming environment for your stay...Way above what is expected...Thanks for everything!!! PS...A fireplace and firepit outside...Whaaaaat??? so cooool...

Wonderful Time

We truly enjoyed the semi-private setting with breathtaking views. The private guest house was perfect for us and well stocked with amenities. The kitchen has a full refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, stocked with pots/pans/cooking utensils, which made cooking meals a breeze. The owners were very hospitable and thoughtful about our privacy. There was a nice care package of snacks for us upon arrival and they shared some fresh eggs from a neighbor as well. The place is a gem and in the perfect location. We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to return.

Location was perfect

Our parents needed a quiet place to stay for a family wedding. They loved the location. It was close to wineries, apple hill and had a great view. It was clean and decorated nicely. Excellent stay and would definitely recommend it to others .

Perfect for a weekend away

Adorable cottage at the end of the road, with the deck facing the woods. Cottage was clean, and the fireplace kept it toasty warm. The owners did not miss any details; every time I looked for something, it was there - like q-tips and cotton balls, wine glasses, candles. And we were just a few miles from Placerville and other things to do. Just what we needed for a break from work, running a business, and home schooling children. Would 100% return for another retreat-like visit.

Super tidy with a great view!

This place was spacious and warm and tidy! We were delighted by the snacks and drinks left out for the taking. The view of Apple Valley is lovely. I enjoyed yoga with a view of Blue (or Stellar?) Jays jumping around the Oaks and eating from the birdhouses. The only minus for the two of us was the use of perfumes. If you have health issues that are triggered by perfumes - which we are not- then this may not be the place for you! Thanks for the cozy stay!
