Boaters paradise located just a few minutes from the river and inter-coastal waters. Fish or sight-see dolphins off of our new composite Dock. Two king beds and two twin beds. Relax in our Heated Pool and Spa. We have all the amenities you will need to go to our local Beaches. Our Villa is located a twenty minute drive to Ft Myers Beach and twenty five minutes to Sanibel Beach. Very quiet neighborhood with limited traffic on our street. Great restaurants and grocery stores within blocks for all your dining needs.
We are only the 3rd owners of this mid century gem! We have maintained the retro integrity by incorporating period pieces into the design, with special attention paid to comfort while adding fun twists to the decor. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is relaxing and worry-free while imparting the fun feeling of vacation every day....nailed it! ;)

Perfect getaway

Home was clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, plenty to do without leaving, prompt communication, nice and quiet neighborhood, and located close to many restaurants and stores!

Casa Luna

Absolutely loved this property and its quirky decor especially the Flamingos everywhere. Everything you could need and more was available. Loved the Florida room with its bar and pool table and the pool area with its water view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to go back again.

Delightful!

Our stay was wonderful. Delightful decor! The house is thoughtfully, well-stocked with paper goods, linens, hand and dish soap, etc. The owners made everything easy! The kids enjoyed the pool, and we ended each day in the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet, and we enjoyed biking and walking through it. This is our new favorite place to stay in Cape Coral.

Mid Century Cutie

The house was beautifully decorated and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure the vibe was perfect. The location was great and it made boating to nearby Sanibel and St James City a breeze. The only downsides were that the Florida room was not air conditioned (no big deal for us since we like the heat)and the exterior camera pointed at the pool, which for safety reasons I can kind of see...but it was not listed in the description and we weren't made aware of it until we had got the welcome email. It felt a little invasive, but also did not stop me from getting in the pool. All in all we would definitely stay again.

Great water view

Our family really enjoyed the pool, hot tub. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, the peacefulness of the neighborhood and the water views. House was clean, and had many kitchen essentials. No issues at all. There is not too much to do with kids in Cape Coral, so there was more driving than I would have liked, seemed like everything was 20+ mins away to go to the beach and other activities.

We are happy you enjoyed our vacation home so much! We work hard to make sure it is top notch for our guests! I’m sorry you didn’t find activities as close as you would have liked. We do provide bikes and kayaks for guest use and there are many activities for all ages nearby. I am always happy to give recommendations for activities that fit particular groups when asked!

great experience!!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation with 3 generations. The location of this house is unbeatable. The highlight of the whole trip was watching dolphins swim in the canal right past the dock!! There were so many fish and the kids were reeling them in left and right!! Location is great...in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, grocery, and the beach was just a short drive away! We also rented a boat from Boats and More Rentals (also highly recommend and closely located). They delivered the boat right to the dock for us. It was only minutes by boat to get to the gulf and we even took the boat right to Fort Meyers Beach. We cruised up and down the canals, which was so fun to see all the houses and at the end of the day it was so convenient to be able to park it right in the boat lift at the house. Overall, the house had something for all ages and more than enough room for all of us. The home was clean and well kept and the beds were so comfortable and all bedding/linens were very high-end! We hung out in the kitchen a lot, 4 adults cooking and having a good time. The kitchen is so spacious and well-equipped! The kids were able to have their own "space" in the separate den area. We ended up spending more time at the house than we had originally anticipated because the kids were having so much fun in the pool, fishing on the dock, etc. Not to mention the view down the canal is breath-taking. We started almost every day on the dock watching the sunrise while drinking our coffee and ended with drinks in the hot tub. Kevin and Sheila were so easy to deal with and easy to reach from the time we booked all the way through our stay. I can't say enough good things about this property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know and we are already lining up our stay for next year!! This house truly made our vacation unforgettable.

Very nice home with all the charm we were looking for. The kids loved the pool/hot tub & the Florida room. The home was well stocked with amenities. We really appreciated having some supplies & dry goods to start the trip with on day one. The canal/dock is well suited for fishing. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Home - Fun Décor

We had a great time on our visit to FL and our stay at this home. It was as advertised. My mom especially loved the interior design, as it reminded her of growing up. Very clean, great location.

GRATEFUL GRANDMOTHER

Just what we needed ! This property is awesome and has a lovely mid century decor and so comfy for our party of 6. On Sept 19 I lost my husband of 47 years to Pulmonary Fibrosis and we needed to disconnect and enjoy our family in a magic place. This surpassed our expectations and more. Thank you

Cape Coral vacation rental

The house was beautifully decorated in a 1960's retro style. It was spacious and included everything we needed....including beach chairs and towels, a cooler, 2 bikes and 2 kayaks. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. Shelia (the owner) was very helpful and responsive to questions I had during our stay. I would highly recommend this home away from home in Cape Coral.

Amazing Home

We took a vacation from Miami to Cape Coral, we love the west coast beaches. We also have a boat and this house was perfect for us as it has a lovely boat dock with lift! This house is amazing, we were so happy with the cleanliness of the home. The beds were so comfortable and big. The pool and hot tub was great and my kids enjoyed all the pool toys. This property was great for our family of 6. It was very comfortable.

Awesome stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican! Everything was even better than pictured/described in the listing. The retro decor was perfect, the pool/spa was excellent, and communication with the owners was great. Tons of activities within minutes of the home. We would definitely return for another stay!

Serene location

This house was located in a very quiet serene location on the canal. We loved being able to go fishing and swimming everyday. The house is decorated straight out of the 70’s which was so fun. Highly recommend for a vacation where you just want to relax.

We had a great time! The lanai area with pool and hot tub was great! We had our boat, and having the dock (and boat lift, which we didn't need) was great! Such easy access to the bay and gulf. Super comfy beds! Would definitely stay there again!

We came to Cape Coral on a family vacation and fell in love with the laid back atmosphere, friendly people and the easy access for boating. We knew this was a place we wanted to spend more of our leisure time and began looking for a property of our own.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We are only the 3rd owners of this wonderful mid century modern. The 1st owner, "Mrs. B" and her husband built the home in 1966. Her husband was killed in service and never got to enjoy the home. "Mrs. B" never remarried or had children, but stayed and wintered in the home for the duration of her life. We are told that "Mrs. B" was quite the neighborhood character and would go on her daily walks dressed to the 9's. She was always on neighborhood watch for garbage by the street and made it her duty to pick up any stray trash. She was also known to stop by the neighbors homes for a quick cocktail when out on her walks. We have done some updates to the house to make it more livable by modern standards, but have been careful to keep the retro integrity intact. We like to think that "Mrs. B" is smiling! :)
