Beach Walk 1 is a ground level 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa, just steps from the beach and includes a shared heated pool. Unit accommodates up to 6 people. The property consists of 3 units and sits west of Gulf Drive which is the beach side of the main road, a mere stones throw away from the beautiful white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.

Amenities include:
Full kitchen with all your utensils and supplies needed, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, oven, linens, 2 TV's with cable, 1 TV with a dvd player, wireless internet, stack washer dryer, air conditioning and heat, shared heated pool, shared charcoal grill, beach chairs and beach towels.

We offer four beach chairs and one umbrella for your visit!

Bedroom Layout: #1 en suite queen bed, #2 ensuite 1 full, 1 full trundle. Sleeps 6

Great Location on Anna Maria!

Enjoyed our stay! Walking distance to the beach & having a pool on the property was a big plus. Very clean and spacious.

Great Location

The location and property manager are great. The home is nice could use some sprucing up and a deep cleaning, but overall we had a great time.

Great Location

My wife, children, dog and I spent the 4th of July weekend at this location. The home is a rehabbed older home 1 block from the beach. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full eat in kitchen, and a living room. The first floor has direct access to the outdoor pool. We were happy with our stay. The only challenge, as there is no central AC, was managing the AC wall units to keep the unit universally cool in hot Florida July. Also a FYI for reviewers, $50/day pet fee not included in original VRBO cost. These are not a deterrents from renting again, and i still give the review a 5 star based off location.

Great 1st time visit to AMI

Property worked well for our family (includes 2 teens). Easy access to a beautiful beach (less than a block). We used the beach chairs provided. We did not use the pool, but it’s a nice option, and looked clean. Air condition units in each room kept the house comfortable, after the initial cool down upon arrival. However, the units were very loud - hard to sleep the first couple of nights. Otherwise, the house was clean and had the necessities. We had a rental car and could easily get around the island. We took advantage of the activity options and did a boat tour, kayaked the mangroves, did jet skis, played miniature golf. We called and used the Monkey Bus to get to Bradenton Beach, as there is a lot of traffic and very little public parking in that area. We found the free Trolley to be somewhat unreliable. Plan ahead, if you are going to use the Trolley or Monkey Bus - waits can be 20-40 minutes… in the hot sun. Before flying out of Sarasota, we went to the John & Mabel Ringling Museum, which was interesting, and the grounds & mansion were beautiful. Suggestions: It would be nice to have a large beach umbrella available at the house. Need more frequent cleaning/replacement of air conditioners/filters. It would be nice to have information at the house, regarding open restaurants (a couple had permanently closed), hours of operation, and which take reservations (most do not - go early/plan ahead), locations of activities, bike rentals, grocery stores, etc.

Beach house stay with granddaughters

Loved the location. You can walk one block to a uncrowded beach. We looked for shells most mornings and watched the sunset every night. Used the pool several days. The property is older but very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Easy walk for groceries and shopping

Great Location

Location was excellent, couple minute walk to the beautiful beach! This is an older home and could use some personal touches, couch was dirty and my husband had to clean all the air filters in each of the units as they were not cooling the house well. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. Inside stackable washer and dryer is also very convenient. Bedrooms windows are by the pool so if kids are playing don't plan on taking an afternoon nap. This is a pet friendly unit and I loved that I could bring my dog.. Overall I had a very good stay and would stay here again.

Heaven just steps away!

This gem of a house was such a wonderful stay! We loved having two bathrooms and a large kitchen! The pool was gorgeous and even made our neighbors jealous!! There were lots of beach toys at the house to take to the beach, as well as chairs. The house is less than a hundred footsteps from the beach. Easy access. And a short walk to Walgreens, dollar tree and stone great ice cream or bagels! The trolley runs on the island for free, so it's easy to get to other beaches or the piers.

Fantastic location

When we hooked this property I checked pet friendly houses. After booking and far too late to find another property, I find out there are no pets allowed here. VRBO used a “glitch” in their system as an excuse. I called 7 kennels before finding one with an opening for my dog. When we arrived at the house there was pet hair all over. The couple upstairs told us the family there before us had 2 pugs. I spent an extra $340 at the kennel because of this “glitch”.

great location, house needs help

The location of this property is spectacular. It was a total joy to be able to walk right down to the beautiful beach at the end of the block. This was one of the loveliest beaches I've ever been to. The house was not as enjoyable as there were a significant amount of items that were in disrepair or were broken. The lawn chairs broke upon sitting on them, the dining room table leg broke the night we arrived, the dishwasher was broken, even the broom fell apart upon using. To her credit, the property manager was very accessible and offered a rebate of $100 to compensate for the lack of a dishwasher. The place needs an upgrade- the couches were dirty and there was a significant musty smell upon arriving. The price was lower than others in the area, so perhaps that is why. We were disappointed the pictures showed a bunk bed and there was no such bunk bed- only a trundle. We'll definitely be back to Anna Marie Island and would seek out this location if repairs and updates were made.

Hello Kara, It was a pleasure having you as our guest. Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are happy to say we ordered a new dining room table due to arrive in March. We replaced the bunks with a full-size bed with a full-size trundle. The dishwasher has been repaired. The sofas are in the process of being replaced as well. We have been slowly trying to refurbish between guests, which is a constant work in progress. I will look into the other issues mentioned as well and replace them.
