Great Location

The property was very clean. The people in the neighborhood are very welcoming. We made some new friends. It's a short distance to the beach. The pool was awesome. Overall great place to stay.

Beautiful Home

Absolutely gorgeous house!! Perfect fit for our family. Heated pool which was great considering we had low temperatures. House is clean, spacious huge fridge just awesome!!! Will definitely like to book again next year!

Beach time with family until memorial weekend which is as a bummer but we still had a nice time.

The house was a nice size and location was great. Very quite I guess because it was before holiday. My family was able to go to beach wishing a block walk. The pool was closed

Experienced Diamond Beach Vacationer

I would rate this property a 3.5 out of 5. The property is in a great location. The pool is awesome. However, the property is small for 6 people, somewhat outdated and not very clean. Most of the appliances (stove, fridge, washer and dryer) are nice and new. The worst item was the third bedroom in a 3rd floor loft with a very poor setup for air conditioning with a portable room air conditioner.

Place is OK BUT

The place was OK but was pricey for what it was. I paid over 1700 for 3 nights. ALSO the owner is still beating me over the head (2 months later) about 2 hand towels that w e accidentally took home Total cost 10 dollars! She made me send her a check!

From the owners: "Andrew, I'm sorry you feel that way, but I don't set the price, Evolve does and they use many algorithms (daily) to do so. I understand that you feel frustrated by reimbursing $10.00, however, I've had many cases such as this, and I can't continuously let the cost go, or it adds up quickly. When I first contacted you about the towels (which I believe was the day after you left), you were very kind and offered many ways to reimburse: send the towels back, send the payment to me directly, or go through Evolve. I thought going through Evolve was best, but after their review, they suggested going directly to you (as they only do cases over a certain amount). Unfortunately, that took time, and then I notified you. I hope that provides some light on the situation. We try really hard to ensure our guests are happy. Sincerely, Christine"

Gull Cove

Our stay was pleasant despite the issues with A/C in one of our rooms. This cause a big issue with sleeping arrangements and we had to rearrange in the other bedroom rooms and the living room. Communication with property contact was good but issue was never resolved during our stay.

Hi Audrey, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: We greatly regret the inconvenience this guest experienced. We strive to ensure our home provides a superior experience. The house recently had a new A/C installed which services the first and second floor very well. The third floor does occasionally become uncomfortable which is why the room has its own A/C to ensure peak temperatures do not affect our guests. There were no prior problems with the third floor all summer until this guest's stay. We made many attempts to get a handyman there to review the issue and provide help, but the one we've used for 20 years recently moved and we were unable to obtain new help. When we visited the home the week after this guest's stay, we found the exhaust for the 3rd floor bedroom was disconnected (despite the fact that there were numerous labels to not touch/remove it) and this rendered the A/C ineffective. We immediately wrote to the guest to explain what happened as this was something unexpected and out of our hands. We immediately offered a portion of a refund which they were glad to accept and seemed to appreciate. The unit has been modified to prevent future guests from disconnecting the exhaust, so this should be resolved. Unfortunately, we are at a disadvantage when our home is changed, despite attempts to create a comfortable environment and proactive measures to keep it that way.
