Some of the amenities were not working, like the storm guard shutters and the stove top buttons kept breaking off, although they did send someone to fix the stove. Just be aware there are other rentals on the property behind the house and another rental attached to the actual house that has a window overlooking private pool. Also, there is a main road right in front of house (between pool and beach).

Dated but decent location

The property has seen better days, the pool is too cold to use - not heated, road is fairly busy & loud and other guests are coming & going in the cottages. The main house is spacious but little ants are all over the kitchen. Cornelia (host) is very responsive and had no security issues during our stay.

Spring Break 2024

We had a great time! We were concerned about some reviews saying the pictures weren't accurate, but the house was beautiful and clean, as was the pool. The beach was a walk across the street with a couple of restaurants and pharmacy a short walk to the right, and a little restaurant a short walk to the left. We had sufficient towels, paper goods and supplies. We didn't get a pre-check in email and I'm still now sure what happened there but we were able to figure out the location and showed up at the house just before check in and all worked out.

House needs a lot of love

House appears MUCH nicer in photographs than it is in person. Pros- lovely beach, great view, deck area, convenient to airport & grocery stores (driving required), gas grill worked well Cons - little to no maintenance, busy road, road noise, lack of privacy, lots of stairs, no generator, needs more basic supplies (bath & beach towels, hair dryers) MAINTENANCE House needs a LOT of basic maintenance, including: - rotting floorboards & ceiling wood on deck - kitchen cabinets interiors are a mess - 2 fans are missing pulls so you can't turn them on/off - millions of tiny ants inside - 1 AC unit not working - oven fan sounded like an airplane - hurricane shutters broken upstairs so couldn't open - alarm fob stopped working - remotes needed batteries - deck furniture & cushions are dirty/stained - the list goes on... BUSY ROAD / ROAD NOISE The beach is terrific but getting across the busy road is dangerous. If you have small children it would be a nightmare. Older family members had a tough time crossing quickly as well. Pool area is quite pleasant but interrupted by constant road noise. PRIVACY Four units are on the property and share the laundry. The kitchen window looks directly out at one of the patios so there are people quite close by. Parking is tight if several units have cars. STEPS There are a lot of steps inside and outside. Tile floor is slippery when wet. GENERATOR No generator. We lost power twice for several hours each time. Neither outage was due to weather.

Outdoor area was wonderful. Inside not so much.

The outdoor pool was amazing and beach access could not get any better. Other than that everything was horrible. The ants, bugs, and cockroaches were everywhere! Horrible beds that you could not sleep in due to springs pressing into you. The house was broken into and we got robbed. Thank god the security system was in place. We had to hire security guards for the rest of our stay because we felt unsafe. No gate to close at night. Shared driveway with three other houses in the back. Constant parking wars with the other residents. I had to call for two days straight to get directions and ahold of the property manager for confirmation. We didnā€™t know if we even had anywhere to stay.

Great House

The house was great. Direct beach access. If you book this house, you should consider hiring a chef and driver as it is remote from most destinations. Also, the pool and hot tub are not heated, which was quite a disappointment. All furniture could use an update as the beds are ready to fall apart.

Beautfiul Beaches, Great House

The home is right across the street from a beach where we saw no one. It was sandy, with a great little coral reef and lots of fish to snorkel around. I can't say enough about how perfect the beach was if you are looking to be by yourself! (It would have been great if we had some chairs to bring down, but quite frankly we just swam, so it was fine). The pool provided a great spot to hang after the beach and a great place for my mother-in-law to enjoy the water and sun. The house was very clean and plenty of room for all of us (4 teens/young adults), 2 couples and 1 mother-in-law. The furniture was not very comfortable (couch and chairs outside could use an upgrade) and dining room chairs could use some cushions. I commented to the property managment and they said they would address and appreciated the feedback. The property managment was awesome. Corrine was wonderful, responsive the entire time and very friendly. We had an incident at the house and she was very, very responsive. We were able to check in early as well. We also had a chef for the week. I highly recommend - it was easy living and less expensive then eating out. (A great restuarant to check out is Kyma, about 6 km away - great cocktails and food and quite reasonablly priced). Paradise Island is about 30 minutes away, so if you are doing more activities that direction, just a heads up. We had a few things that direction and it was fine. I would recommend this house and location again and certainly the property managment.

Stunning

Absolutely amazing you will not be disappointed..Bianca met us and was so helpful..you wonā€™t need anything staying here. The house was immaculate. We had such a great time around the infinity pool and deck..if we ever come back to Nassau we will definitely be booking here. We canā€™t say enough wonderful things about the house and location.

Off the beaten path

Bianca was great when planning the trip and checking in but after that we never heard from her again. We asked about using the hot tub and needing a grill to cook on and she did not reply. The house was beautiful and the beach was great but it is a long walk to anywhere. The bus is very convenient but only runs until 6pm so an expensive taxi is the only option. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the kayaks where fun.

Huge! Absolute Luxury!

The place was immaculately clean and spacious with four bedrooms, a huge master bed and bath, and gorgeous views of the northern ocean. Itā€™s magical crossing the street to an all white sand beach! Our host was excellent and highly informative. We felt at home here!

Wonderful! Will return!

A very nice home! The perfect size for my family. Located directly at the Beach and safe neighborhood. We came for a family get together in the area, so it was nice having a place that the out of town guests could stay comfortably. The home was clean and had all of the amenities that are needed. The garden area was perfect and very relaxing! My family enjoyed the Living room with TV and the comfortable lounge chairs as well as the amazing beautiful outdoor area with view over the Ocean! Spectacular! The Beach is only a view steps away, very clean with white sand and the kids loved to hang out there. Even found some very nice snorkeling spots only a view yards from the beach! The area itself is very secure and we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. The grocery store is only a view minutes away and nice restaurants on the Beach! We will definitely come back to the beautiful house! Highly recommended!

Love it and wish we could spent more time on the porch!

We used the house as a one night transition point during a longer trip but I wish we could have stayed longer. Bianca met us when we arrived and was a wonderful hostess. She pointed us in the direction of a fantastic restaurant and set us up with a taxi the following morning. Thanks Bianca! Your home is beautiful!

Gorgeous Getaway Spot!

North Winds was the perfect spot for a quick girls trip! The views and location are simply stunning! We loved having our own space to prepare drinks and snacks without the cramped feeling of a hotel room. The house was very clean and in full working order. Bianca and Florian were such gracious hosts and offered many suggestions for excursions and restaurants. We will absolutely be back!

Bahamas - as I dreamed of. Wonderful and relaxing.

The house was awesome. Hospitality was also phenomenal. The beach is a real dream and directly in front of the house. Very clean and nearby the airport. Amenities were great for the group I was with. The location was central to everything as well. Especially we loved the house because we felt very safe and loved the family flair and the beautiful garden! Would recommend to friends/family for future trips. Thanks!
