We had an amazing stay! The beds were very comfortable, the beach was literally out the front door, and the free rentals were great. (We got paddle boards and bikes). The bay was very calm which made paddle boarding easy for everyone. We really enjoyed the large patio. We ate most of our meals there enjoying the ocean view. We will definitely be back!!

Home was clean and and a good location to walk to restaurants and the beach. Host checked in while we were there, which was nice.

Excellent location and a beautiful home. Our Ford Expedition wouldn’t fit in the garage but they allowed us to park in the outside space since the upstairs unit was not occupied. Access to the beach equipment and free rental for umbrellas, paddle boards and kayaks was a great bonus.

Nice property, great location and patio. Smelled Gas and called company, didn't get call back for 2days, not very helpful, could be cleaner also.

The location was perfect. The patio area was comfortable, well furnished, and had a beautiful view of the Bay. We could easily watch the kids playing on the sand and it was nice that some sand toys were provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The only thing we couldn’t find was a coffee scoop We are already trying to plan a return trip next summer!

Check in was so easy. Our vacation was amazing because of this vacation home. Rooms were large with great storage. The beds were comfy!!! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Location was the best!! We will definitely return . Best vacation rental we’ve had! We rent every year in Mission Beach.

Fantastic Vacation Home

There were six of us, including 2 children, and everyone loved the stay. Nick, Cassie, Dana, Brandon, Silvia are all so responsive at Surf Style Vacations. The home was well equipped with everything, we love to BBQ and eat at home! The beds and bathrooms are all very good. Hope to return ASAP!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Everything was perfection - from everything in the unit to the location to the service provided by Surf Style when we had a question. Can't wait to stay again!

Fun Family of 5 Stay

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at the Point Break 1 unit. The patio did not disappoint. Every bedroom had a tv and comfortable beds, which is nice. There were plenty of chairs and seating in the home, though would have been nice to have another sofa or larger sofa, just a suggestion but did not ruin our stay in any way!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the TV remotes were all mixed up so it took awhile to access TV. The couch was torn and very uncomfortable. All the furniture in the main kitchen and family room was uncomfortable.

Awesome place

This was a great place to stay. Plenty of room, quiet, kitchen fully equipped and steps to the ocean. Only complaint would be the Wi-Fi....the name never came up and we could never connect to the property's wifi. Other than that was wonderful!! A throw blanket or two in the living room would be nice but not an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything you'd expect & more!

This property was awesome. Amazing location, walking distance to Starbucks, restaurants, & the beach. Super easy location for everything San Diego has to offer. Quick drive to the airport, Zoo, Torrey Pines for lunch, etc. Being on the bay side was so much more enjoyable for us with a couple of toddlers. The patio was so much fun! We will def try to stay here again when we go back to SD/Mission Beach. Only thing we'd recommend is a couple more throw blankets, new pillows & a mirror in the 2nd/3rd bedroom to make it easy as people got ready.

Fabulous 2 weeks

This was our second time at Point Break 1 and it was again fantastic. The team at Surf Style Vacation Homes are really responsive. You have to remember that there is always a family above you, there are no carpets, so you hear every foot step. Also, the first family had some young adults that arrived home at 2 am in the morning a little happy, and our bedroom was right next to the stairs to their unit. The other families that rented the upstairs unit were much better. But that would not deter us from renting this unit again, it is so fabulous and our kids and grandkids love San Diego and this unit. Thanks guys.
