Imagine walking to one of the finest beaches in the world at Crescent Bay in North Laguna Beach. Imagine walking to the town of Laguna Beach, exploring the multitude of galleries, shops and restaurants. Imagine sitting on your second floor lanai sipping a margarita while watching the sun set over Catalina Island and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
Two story modernized home located approximately 4 blocks from the entrance to Laguna's finest beach, Crescent Bay.

Steam shower in master luxurious master bath which sits adjacent to huge master bedroom with sliding doors leading to a private zen garden. California king bed with plenty of built in cabinetry and 60 inch plasma TV make this a special retreat.

Cove lighting, hardwood floors throughout this beautiful home.

Second bedroom has two twins that are designed to be combined into a king bed as needed. This bedroom also has a flat screen TV. Second bathroom has bath/shower.

Kitchen has new appliances including gas stove, dishwasher, cupboards stocked with all the gourmet cooking gear you need to make a fabulous meal.

Dining area off kitchen seats 6. Dining table on lanai also seats 6.

Walk upstairs to the fabulous family room with 60 inch plasma TV, surround sound, two couches, and additional luxury seating, as well as an additional dining area. Walk into the private office area with additional 1/2 bath when work needs to be done. Sit at your oceanview desk while working on your laptop.

Walk out to the second floor lanai with magnificent views of Catalina island and the Pacific Ocean. Dine at the lanai dining table or sip a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset.

We had a wonderful 2.5 months here. The location is great. Walkable to the beach, yoga, groceries, and restaurants. It’s in northern Laguna so you’re right next to Newport Beach too. The closest beach is less than a 10 min walk away and is really beautiful. There is a nice view of the ocean on the second floor which is where the living room is and a balcony just off the living room. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfy. There were a couple of issues that came up but Jim was very responsive and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a well-located place with all the conveniences you’d want for a long stay.

Memorable stay

We had a wonderful time in this super well equipped and comfortable house. You won't get tired of the views and easy access to several beaches. Lots of amenities in walking distance and great vibes. James was super responsive.

Amazing stay!

Summer stay

This beach cottage was very convenient for access to the beach, MoonGoat Coffee and our favorite market Mercado! The location makes it easy to get downtown Laguna and/or up to Corona Del Mar . The owner is very responsive to any and all needs!!

Excellent!

Stayed 4 nights with wife and 3 kids. House had everything that we needed and is close to the village hub for dining and shopping. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again. Booking process very easy with responsive owner.

Comfortable

A comfortable, quiet neighborhood with a second floor that has a great room, office and bathroom. The deck outside has a view of the ocean and beach. Very pleasant and very quiet.

Comfortable Home

This place met our expectations for my small family's extended vacation (working vacation for me). It is close to a great beach and within walking distance to a grocery store and downtown Laguna. We did not need a car during our entire stay. The home came stocked with essentials (laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.) and beach chairs, towels and umbrellas (which we used pretty much every day). Overall, we felt very comfortable and were pleased during our stay.

Loved it in Laguna!

This beautiful gem had all the comforts of home, great beds, good Wifi, fully stocked kitchen, comfy cozy den for TV watching and card playing and perfectly appointed deck for watching the sunsets and dining outdoors. The location was wonderful with the best walk along the ocean cliffs in Laguna. There was not only driveway parking, but the hosts even made the garage available for parking. If you know Laguna, you know this is the holy grail. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and our hosts and the property mgr. were always available if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Perfect beach cottage, Quiet neighborhood!

We had a wonderful week in Laguna and loved staying in this home. The kitchen is completely stocked and fully functional. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the rooftop porch with views of the ocean an cliffs. The beach is easily accessible about two blocks away. The free trolley stop is about one block north. Downtown Laguna is a comfortable walk and beautiful if you walk along the coastal path. The house had plenty of beach towels and chairs and boogie boards for our family of four. We highly recommended this home and would happily return.

Second stay just as perfect as the first!

We enjoyed this home so much during our March 2014 stay that we returned to it in March 2015. We love the house and its location. We walk to Crescent Bay Beach (our favorite beach in Laguna) and walk to downtown. The home is very comfortable and has everything we need to relax and feel like locals. We eat most of our meals on the deck. Our kids appreciate the TVs and surround sound. The owner and the property manager are excellent with communication and genuinely care about the experience of the guests. We will return again. This is our "home away from home."

A Glorious February in Laguna Beach!

My husband and I spent the month of February 2014 at this property. Our month was perfect in every way. The listing is accurately described. The photos reflect the rental's appearance and there are no surprises when getting there. The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved the location which is an easy walk to town and across the street from Crescent Beach which was gorgeous. We feel in love with north Laguna which is quieter than southern Laguna and we highly recommend this part of Laguna. The manager and owner were helpful and are reachable at anytime. We look forward to returning!

Great home. Close to everything.

Our family has stayed in this home twice now for our summer vacations. The home is clean with modern amenities. There are big flat screens in all bedrooms. It's like staying at an upscale hotel in the middle of Laguna Beach. It's within walking distance of Crescent Beach, although we preferred to go to Main Beach which is still less than a mile down PCH. There is a grocery store within walking distance as well as a couple of restaurants. Our car broke down and was being serviced for a day and a half. It didn't affect our stay at all. We could walk wherever we needed to go. Everything in the home is comfortable. Everything is close. We recommend it!

Perfect Rental in Laguna Beach

Our family of four spent a glorious week in March 2014 in this lovely home. It is one of the best vacations we ever had. The location is perfect--walking distance to town (about 1 mile) and a very short walk to picturesque Crescent Bay beach. This beautiful house is incredibly comfortable and practical in layout. It is well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs and boogie boards. We spent more time at the house and at Crescent Bay than we had originally planned because we were so content to just hang out instead of driving to other places. There is a grocery store just a few blocks away. The owner and property manager seem to genuinely care about the experience of the guests and are accessible and easy to communicate with. The people we met in Laguna Beach were friendlier than elsewhere in California. We have rented in La Jolla twice and never met anyone there....in Laguna Beach we really connected with people. We have rented homes through VRBO multiple times, including several prior visits to Southern California, and this is the first one we fell in love with. We will be back, and are talking about how soon we can make that happen.

Awful Experience - Consumer beware

On April 12, 2012, the owner was given a cashier’s check for a luxury oceanview rental for 4 Adults for May 4 to May 27, 2012. Upon arrival at the property, it was discovered that the 2nd bedroom, (advertised as having a King Bed and suitable for adults), was tiny with a short child’s bed, no dresser for clothing, a tiny child’s closet where one has to stoop to hang clothes, there is no lock on the bathroom door – totally unsuitable and un-useable for 2 Adults. Shortly after arrival, the plumbing failed (clogged toilets, sinks would not drain) and the electrical system was evidently faulty (lights flickering). I was traveling in Europe and my assistant was getting the house ready for my arrival – my quests had already arrived and were dismayed with the guestroom accommodations – they were looking into leaving immediately and getting a hotel room – this was a disaster as these were VIP business guests of mine – I was embarrassed and appalled at the state of this rental and the fact that it was advertised as being suitable for 4 Adults and that it was supposedly high end – it was unsanitary and the electrical system obviously concerning. I turned over the key on May 8th at the property manager's request. I stated I wanted my money back as no way could 4 adults be comfortable in this little place. As of July I have not received my security nor any response from the owner. Lawsuit pending. This was and continutes to be a nightmare.

Fantastic

The property exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a family Christmas together. There was significant space for nine adults to enjoy a Christmas evening gathering, then Christmas morning brunch. The home is well furnished and the kitchen well stocked with numerous cooking items. Our favorite experience, sitting on the roof top patio and watching the sunrise and sunset. Amazing vacation in a great house

Walking distance to Crescent beach, Supermarket, coffee house, pizzeria!, Clean, comfortable, stocked with the things you need, nice natural light, Mary(property manager) was receptive and helpful. Couldn't of wished for a better place to spend our vacation! Counting down the days till we return next year.

Beautiful home, great location!!!

Spent the third week of August 2017 in this lovely home in North Laguna with our family of six. The home was very comfortable for our large family and really allowed for a restful vacation week. We had a car rental and could have ditched it since we walked everywhere (or took the trolley). About a 5min walk from Crescent Beach which is spectacular. The walk into town (along Cliff) took us about 10min and the views from Heisler Park along that route were so magnificent that we typically skipped the trolley. The home itself was well equipped, well maintained, with updated kitchen and bathrooms and we enjoyed the upper deck with ocean views every evening. Beds were very comfortable. My only gripe (and it is a small one) is the Internet connection is less than awesome. Ordinarily wouldn't have even noticed this minor inconvenience but my kids had managed to churn through our family data plan before vacation started and we were essentially dependent on this slow connection to manage our flight reservations etc....That being said, we came to Laguna to surf the ocean not the Internet and we would love to come back to this beautiful villa. Travel tip; if arriving by air try to fly into John Wayne (Orange County) and skip LAX or San Diego. Airport is only 20min away and incredibly user friendly (no lines).

Great location in a renovated beach cottage

Loved the location of this cottage. Close to a great beach and short drive to town. Most of the cottage has been renovated but can still see the original cottage charm. Very well equipped, plenty of towels, linens and kitchen-ware and with the heat wave we had the air-conditioning was awesome.

Ocean view home in a great location!

Had a wonderful time at this very cute house! Updated home with a great kitchen, family room and ocean view! Beautiful tile and wood floors. Really appreciate the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels that come with the house. The only thing missing is a comfy chair on the first floor for reading or morning coffee. Once the kids take over the family room, a secondary comfy seating area in the master would be great. Overall great experience!

Our second stay in this fabulous house by the beach

We love coming back to stay at this lovely house. It has a great location a few minutes' walk to Crescent Bay, it is right by the stop for the local free shuttle into town, it is a few blocks from the supermarket, and it has every comfort and convenience. The bedrooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped, there's a TV for everyone's convenience, and the deck on the upper floor is just wonderful for sitting out in the evenings. Great customer service from owner and local caretaker. Our family thinks of this as our "home" in southern California! Thank you for another wonderful summer holiday.

This property had everything we could ask for and more!

We had a great week at this property in North Laguna and it was perfect for our family of four (two adults and two teenaged boys)! We enjoyed the location and had access to everything we wanted to do. It was an easy walk down to the beach and we really enjoyed walking up the street to the trailhead for our daily trail runs. We also utilized the free trolley to get downtown to some restaurants. The house had plenty of room to spread out with the upstairs living room and outdoor patio. It was very clean and ready for us when we checked in! The kitchen was perfect! We stocked up on breakfast and lunch foods and then headed out to different local restaurants for dinners. The grocery store is only a few blocks away. The house had everything we needed and with everyday workouts, having the washer/dryer was perfect for us! It was also nice having beach chairs, bogey boards, and towels for the beach! The area felt very safe and the house manager was easy to reach, helpful, and nice! We fell in love with Laguna Beach! We would definitely come again and recommend this property to friends!
