Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality.

This recently updated condo boasts beautiful laminate flooring in the main living areas, tile in the bathroom and kitchen, cozy carpet in the bedroom, and plenty of lighting. In the bedroom you will find a luxurious king-size bed, a tv with a roku remote, modern bedside tables, an alarm clock/radio, a luggage rack, and extra closet space. The living room offers a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa, a cozy arm chair, a smart tv with a roku remote, beautiful side tables, and an electric fireplace. There is also a dining room table that seats 3. A lovely kitchenette offers 12 cup coffee maker, microwave, and a toaster. The handy coat closet is where you will find the bedding for the sofa bed, a broom, and the iron and ironing board. The large bathroom offers a jet tub, walk-in shower, separate toilet room, and a vanity for more storagre. In addition to the fabulous interior, through the sliding glass door you will find a 4 person seating arrangement on the screened in porch! No need to worry about privacy, the screen door locks and the curtains close fully.

We provide towels and mini soaps for your use, as well as limited daily housekeeping services. Be sure to ask the front desk if you need a playpen or high-chair if you have a little one.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

The facilities and the staff were fine. All of these condos are privately owned and this particular one was a disgusting, filthy dump. We ended up leaving and finding other accommodations.

Location was perfect

We were able to walk into town to shop and eat and walk to the pier behind the property. The pool area was not well kept and not heated even though it was advertised as such. Staff were friendly and responsive. Parking was a bit wacky but manageable. We would probably find another property next time but it was great for the price.

Perfect spot

I was looking for a location close to downtown that allows pets. I found this one and it was perfect for what I needed . The unit is older but clean and well maintained . Easy access. Check in was a breeze and the manager was very friendly. I will rebook here on my future visits.

If you wanna stay here get the room 211 instead. Way nicer feels like luxury compared to this one and doesnā€™t have missing drywall, old tub, scratches on the floor, and just feels way more homey. Air doesnā€™t work too quick and bedroom has no windows so is super dark. Lighting isnā€™t the best. Just felt gloomy.

Very nice and cozy for the two of us. Did have an extra room if we want to bring our kids next time which we plan on doing. Very clean. Quit at night. Had a nice pool but we did not use it. Very close to downtown so we walked one day to enjoy down Charlevoix.

Something that I didn't realize from the photos was that I had access to a screened in porch, which was nice to sit in during the evening to relax and unwind.The hotel was also very conveniently. It was only a short walk to the beach and located only a couple blocks from some excellent restaurants, including the Bridge Street Tap Room. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, and the unit has potential but needs some TLC and updating. Bedroom carpet was badly stained, and the screened patio was unusable, as muddy looking dirt covered half of it. Although the tv was wall mounted in the BR, cords hung down the walls, which needed painting. Bath caulk was pulling away, needs replacing. The contrast in care between this unit and another one rented for my sonā€™s family was significant. Since theyā€™re individually owned condos, itā€™s advisable to check them out as well as possible before renting, as some are much more desirable than others.

A/c unit was just above the bed with no remote to access. It was very loud could not have it running when trying to sleep. No dressers or hangers to put away clothes asked staff twice and hangers were never delivered. Could not Check-in for 2 hours hours after 4 PM published check in time because the room wasnā€™t ready due to the facility being understaffed with cleaning crew. Property in general not well maintained. There are holes on the wall where a TV used to be that havenā€™t been patched or painted.

Great Location

Very nice location. Very pet friendly. Unit is a kitchenette so smaller fridge with a small shelf for freezing. The Unit was very clean and well stocked with towels for our stay. Needed some minor maintenance. AC is window units in walls that tend to be a bit noisy .Bedroom has no windows so very dark .Rest of unit has lots of light. Screened in porch was excellent for people watching and just hanging around.
