Princeville gem

We loved staying here. It was secluded (no noise, street sounds, etc.) and we felt like we were in our own private tropical paradise. There was a beautiful secluded beach nearby. The kitchen was wonderful, as we like to make our own meals for the most part. Nice little patio for wine time, overlooking beautiful tropical plants. We would go back and we will recommend to all.

Would stay again

The property was spotless and as listed. We had trouble finding the property we arrived lat and was late and dark. We called the management company and spoke with someone the directed us there no problem! I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Spot!

Everything was simply wonderful with our stay of two weeks. All appliances were in working order and the place was very clean. We loved having our morning coffee on the lanai with the beautiful greenery and calls from the local birds. Great location on the beautiful north shore of Kauai.

Great Location and Host

The property is in a great location. Close to the shopping center (for last minute supply runs), Hanalei, scenic lookouts, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The chickens, they're key characters in the island but they're not bothersome. The host has an "Aloha" book that provides details that will help you with your stay. It covers everything from navigating the many single lane bridges and local etiquette in crossing them to expectations for check-out. Overall, we had a great stay here and would recommend this gem to other travellers.

Relaxing and easy breezy condo in the jungle

We are a fun-loving family with curious kids age 9&12 and found this vacation rental to be exactly what we needed for a home base during our Kauai adventure! The kitchen was easy to use, had all we needed to cook some basic meals (grocery store right down the street but we also stopped at Walmart to get some better deals). Beds were comfortable, everything was spotless! Door code makes it easy to not worry about losing a key. They really helped us understand how to take care of the space and it was pretty easy. They asked us not to wear shoes in the house, which of course makes sense because Kauai is very dirty with lots of sand and red dirt getting all over you when you’re out and about. Recycling station down the street. The windows open fully at night to allow the trade winds to cool down the whole space and it was lovely to sleep with the sounds of bugs, frogs, then wake to silly roosters and finally the beautiful songbirds. Geckos and katydids will come visit you on the screens of your windows and screen door at night. This is a great choice for a family who wants a North Shore adventure base. It was also easy to park our rental car in the spaces outside as everything is open. Close to Hanalei/Princeville. A nice walk to Nourish, which is such an amazing fresh food stand as well as Saenz Ohana Breakfast which was tasty! In fact, check the guest book about the walk down through Old Club Med Ruins to Puu Poa beach!

Nice Stay

Place has a great location. The furniture in the living room is very outdated and stained. We did not have wifi for the 3 days we were there and had to pay $12 a day each for roam from home to download maps, hikes, search restaurants etc. Not a big deal but extra unnecessary expenses. Communication was easy and quick with the management and they did say they would report it. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next guests. The kitchen is missing some items for cooking, however we went out for dinners and this didn’t effect us. I’d probably stay somewhere a bit nicer next time, but for 3 nights it was fine!

Princeville condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an unpretentious, but livable 2 bedroom condo in a residential area in the Princeville resort area. It seemed like we as transients were more the exception than the rule. Most people in the complex live there and got up in the morning and went to work and that give the place a lived in feel and we liked that rather than being in an isolated resort setting. The well-stocked kitchen with condiments and spices available, as well as foil, and plenty of pots and pans was much appreciated. Short drive to supermarket, beaches, hiking, restaurants, about 30 minutes without traffic to the airport. We didn't have much interaction with the property manager(s)--an email before we arrived, and phone call the afternoon before we left to remind us, I suppose to make sure we left on time at 10 AM. We had no problems, so there was no need for us to contact the management. The software they use to provide entry instructions is a little quirky, but ultimately posed no problems for us. There are instructions in the unit that covers most topics, but a few things are not, such as where we could take recyclables and cardboard (county transfer station about a mile east).

Beautiful, Quiet, Central Rental

Had a great time staying here with friends. The rental had the cooking supplies we needed, was clean, and was a good location close to Hanalei and the highway, but quiet.

Perfect place to lay our heads during a lovely trip to Kauai

Lovely little townhome for our spring break trip to Kauai. Well cared for and maintained. Quiet neighbors and easy access to Princeville Center with Fooodland, Lapperts, restaurants etc. My children especially appreciated the orange kitty that came to the door at night for dinner. Only small complaint would be that we wish it had cooking basics like salt, pepper, oil etc but also totally understand why it didn't. Just good to know for anyone who is planning on doing a lot of cooking that you have to get all your own stuff.

Comfortable place to stay near Princeville

This petite 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom property had ample parking and was in an attractive, quiet neighborhood (except for the feral roosters crowing all day beginning at 3:00am—which are rampant throughout Kauai and other islands. The Internet was fast and the ceiling fans and night time breezes kept the rooms cool enough for comfortable sleeping. Our only disappointing was the hosts do not provide coffee filters for their coffee machine, which caused us to have to make two trips the store. Fresh coffee filters and a small bag of coffee would be welcome. Additionally, the porch is dark and night and the motion sensor can only be activated from the parking space, and the light stays on only 30-60 seconds, not leaving us nearly enough time to punch in the code. Other than these two quibbles, the property was good and I’d recommend it to other guests. The beach equipment was appreciated.

Great location, very little problems

Everything was great except the mattress in one room was very saggy to the extent of causing back issues. Overall I would recommend.

Princeville Condo Stay

Had fun staying at this condo, location was great and everything was very clean. It can get warm in there due to the heat and humidity, but it cooled down for night time with all the fans they provide! There aren’t any staple cooking items like oils/spices but they supplied all sorts of kitchen supplies so we were able to make food. Michael was very communicative and helpful with our stay and the property managers allowed us to check in early

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great. 5 min to Foodland, 15 min to Hanalei. Quiet. Good base on northshore.
