Chateaux Condominium’s 1st floor is under construction until mid-February 2026. This is causing noise and vibration throughout the entire building. Discounts for this inconvenience may be available. Please contact us for further information.

Direct Gulf front condo with private balcony is ready to make your vacation dreams come true. The new luxury vinyl plank tile and the ceramic tile make for solid floors throughout the condo, no carpet provides for a nice clean feel. The living room has a ceiling fan, TV with cable and DVD player, there is even a nice collection of books to enjoy your relaxing time at the beach. There is a Queen size Murphy bed with a memory foam mattress that does not require moving any furniture to open. Enjoy a full-size kitchen to prepare the perfect beach picnic or family meal. The breakfast bar provides optional seating. The bedroom has a King size memory foam bed, Roku Smart TV, and a ceiling fan for your added enjoyment. There are two additional box fans in the back closet to use if desired. The bathroom has a tub/shower and a new chair height toilet. This condo has a unique feature that you can connect internally to unit 401 if you choose through the double fire doors. Perfect to have your own space and extended family next door. The property has an online application operated laundry room on the 1st floor. The beachside heated pool is surrounded by a paver deck that has both open and covered areas, as you choose your sun exposure. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before getting into the pool or coming into the building. There are also two restrooms in the gated pool area. The large built-in gas grill is perfect for the catch of the day watching the surf and sunset. This is a smoke-free condo and no pets are allowed. The condo has FREE secure WiFi and FREE long-distance to US and Canada. Assigned parking space. The putt-putt golf "Smugglers Cove" is just across the street, the kids always have fun feeding the little alligators. There are nearby restaurants within walking distance and many just up and down the beach within 2 miles. Please ask your reservations about FREE weekday bicycle use and FREE unlimited DVD movie discs.

Absolutely Beautiful place to stay and enjoy the peacefulness!

Our condo was very clean and had everything that we needed! Loved waking up and sitting on the balcony watching dolphins and pelicans! Can't wait to go back!

Great location

So Relaxing

The view is perfect. The beds are comfortable and there is ample seating in the living room. The beach is never very crowded and the sand is sugar white. We would stay again.

Girls trip

Came to the beach for a girls trip with my Mom and sisters. It was wonderful! The views for our morning coffee were amazing! Close to so many restaurants and shops! The condo is as pictured. Beautiful place!

Relaxing and calm

The property was exactly how it was listed. Great location. Make sure to bring you own trash bags if you will need more than one and extra toilet paper if you will need more than two rolls.

Very Nice Condo

Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Only down side was the beds were very hard. We had to buy mattress pads and layer all the extra blankets they had available on top to make them bearable. It’s the only reason we probably won’t rent this unit again. If beds were softer we would come back often. If you like a firm bed than this is a excellent place to stay. Location and beach are great.

This is the second time we have stayed at this complex. We really enjoyed being there.

The complex is older and needs maintenance. The elevator needed maintenance several times throughout the week and was unavailable during that time. We were on the 4th floor and had to carry our beach chairs and tents up the stairs.

Beautiful Condo

Overall, the condo was great. I would say that a few items need to be repaired; bathroom sink stops up and water doesn't drain. The bathroom shower head and extension needs to be changed because it is too long and hard to move that the water sprays out the back and runs over the tub. Other than that, it was a very nice condo and would recommend to family and friends.

Not as expected:-(

I’ve stayed in the area for many years as I have family in the Tampa area, so very familiar with Indian Shores. I wanted Gulf beach view which is what I paid $$$$ for, sadly nothing else. VRBO Description indicated unit was updated in 2020….? The pictures of the condo on VRBO were manipulated using photo filters, and deceiving. The unit was older, dark and not cleaned to my standards. Furniture, lamps, bedding were old, iron was broken, blow dryer old, cracked glasses, dirty dishes as well as dirty kitchen counter top. I can continue! Lesson learned! Will not return to the Chateaux!

Loved the beach! Confused about the amenities!!

We rented the property for a girls getaway. The condo was nice but the amenities were lacking. We were under the impression that bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas were available for a small fee. However, when we went to rent the bikes we were told that they are at the management office and not on the condos property. Our condo was 2 miles away from the management office and we had no vehicle. Also we were told that they don’t rent bikes on the weekend due to limited staffing. Their website and the emails that were sent to me prior to our arrival need to be updated. Also very limited supplies at the condo. No dish soap?? 2 dishwasher tablets for a 5 day stay?? Really?? Probably won’t use this management company for future vacations

Relaxing, great location

We stayed at Chateux unit 402. The condo has amazing views from the balcony, was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. As mentioned in other reviews, the mattresses were firm but there were egg crate toppers available but we didn’t need to use them. Assigned parking meant we didn’t have to search for a space each time we went out. The elevator was great, especially since it is on the 4th floor. There were a few carts and a clothes trolley to help get our groceries and suitcases to the unit. We didn’t use the pool but it looked well taken care of and there were plenty of lounge chairs. The check in/out process was easy and the office staff friendly. We had a great time!

Exactly as Described

The photos and description online is a really good representation of the property. Check-in was easy as we were emailed everything in advance. The size of the condo and views were amazing!!! It is a very low-key area... A few restaurants and bars within walking distance. Beach chairs and umbrellas always available. It was a great stay and we'd book again!

Perfect location!

Wonderful, quiet relaxing stay just steps from the beautiful beach. No crowds at all. Great location to some great restaurants like Crabby Bills, Salt Rock Grill and Frenchies. Just minutes from Clearwater and John’s Pass. Quick drive to and from airport. Definitely going back. Condo had gorgeous views, and everything we needed with just a quick trip to grocery store for a few groceries. Even had beach chairs and umbrella.

Wasn’t what I’d hoped it would be

Didn’t like the fact that the pool was off the parking lot. Squeaky bathroom door from master bedroom. Street noise in bedroom. Beautiful view of the gulf with great proximity to the beach.

Best condo stay!

The Chateaux 402 was very clean, very comfy and the view was outstanding! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing time. We were there for 6 nights and enjoyed every one of them. It was quiet except for the waves. Which was very nice. We can't wait to go back.

Great location and clean property!

We really enjoyed our time at the property. The beach location cannot be beat and the property itself was very clean. They had umbrellas and chairs you can rent by the day right outside the unit, which was especially convenient! Many great locations to eat close by.

Amazing Sunsets and Relaxation!

This condo had 90% of what we are looking for. The good: great views, good size balcony with furniture, full-size kitchen with everything you need, nice bathroom, and comfy couch with TV/DVD player. The bad: the two beds are very hard and not comfy at all. The pillows are very flat also. We think if a mattress topper was added to the beds, it would make things better. Otherwise, this was an excellent location and condo!!!
