Cute, cozy stay near a nice beach

We had a fun family stay here over July 4th weekend. The property was well maintained, good amenities, great location, cute decor, nice bathrooms, kitchen, patio, etc. We had a couple small hiccups with our stay but the host was very accommodating and helped get everything straightened out!

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and had everything we need. We were even able to do some grilling one evening. The beach is a quick 3-5 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Week-Long Vacation Stay at Jamacia Beach House

Everything in the beach house was exactly as advertised and everything worked!!! We would certainly stay here again and will recommend this place to our friends who might visit Galveston Island on vacation.

Family Fun

Stayed here for a very short trip. Had an awesome time and love the accommodations. The place is very well kept and I love the house. Hope to stay at the same place again.

The stay was great, with a very clean and quiet neighborhood.

The neighborhood is pleasant, with considerate neighbors. It is peaceful and well-maintained, and the added benefit of a community pool is a great advantage.

Clean and convenient.

Our stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed the proximity of the beach and the neighboring towns. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house was lit up by string lights which was very helpful since we arrived at night.

Great experience

I highly recommend this home for your next vacation! The host gave clear instructions and check in was very easy. The house is well taken care of and up to date. I will definitely book this rental in the future.

This was an exceptionally beautiful gathering the whole time was exactly as advertised our host took extra care when answering my questions well stocked with the necessities and games towels in excess.The pool clean, the swing the bbq accessories everything

We loved our stay!

Everything about the house was beautiful. Love the decor and design. Water pressure was great with all showers being used. Only issue was the exterior doors in both bedrooms are difficult to lock back.

Wonderful place to be!

This is by far my favorite place that my family and I have stayed in Jamaica Beach. We love Galveston! The home is very clean, so pretty and really feels like home away from home. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was safe, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood is full of nice people who are very friendly and welcoming! Can’t wait to book again this summer!!

Beautiful beach house just 5 mins drive to the beach. Beach house is just like the pictures. Beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped. Host is very responsive and quick to reply to questions. You do need to bring your own shampoos and body wash, and extra beach towels. Quiet, safe neighborhood with a dedicated police officer patrolling the neighborhood. Will definitely rent again.

The property was beyond what I expected. The house is well kept with everything you need for a beach trip. The area was quiet during the day and night and only 5 minutes to the public beach. My only complaint was that the community pool was only open from 9:00-7:00pm. so we weren’t able to visit. It looked very inviting and had 2 lifeguards working. This house is a must stay and we will definitely be back every year.

Immaculately clean and well-appointed

This like-new property is set up perfectly for families with kids or groups. We did lots of cooking and grilling, enjoyed the porch swing and cozy seating on the upper deck, and played lots of games in the spacious family room. The location is perfect: we used the boat ramp to launch kayaks just down the street, spent our days at the nearby awesome beach, and were still just minutes from downtown Galveston. The management company and on-site manager were super to deal with and very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

Immaculately clean beach getaway

This property is so well appointed. Plenty of bathrooms, great house design. High ceilings make it feel so spacious. We enjoyed games on the patio, grilled dinner, and were able to cook all our favorite treats in well-equipped kitchen. The short walk to the boat launch meant that I could take my kayak out which was such a dream! The property manager/company was so responsive, helpful, and flexible. Jamaica Beach is the best of all worlds: close enough to Galveston but without the craziness. Gorgeous, wide beach plus close to Galveston State Park to enjoy some beautiful nature. This is the perfect house for a family or groups. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

4/10 - Insatisfatório

Could have been a cute, cozy stay... but issues

If it were not for the following issues, I would give 5 stars if I could, but I simply cannot. 1. Host unresponsive. Emailed him several days before our arrival with questions, and texted a couple times during our stay but he never answered. 2. COCKROACH INFESTATION. Every evening when we turned out the lights we would walk to the fridge to get something and we'd see movement on the floor. When we flipped the lights on, we saw anywhere from 5 to 15 cockroaches skittering about on the floor on the fridge or around the cabinet skirts. We found dead cockroaches on the freezer shelves, in our coffee mugs, and crawling inside the fridge doors at different times.3. Many of the kitchen, laundry and bathroom cabinets wouldn't fully open without scratching paint or damaging each other (due to lack of cabinet filler pieces).4. Rodent poop. There was rat/mouse poop on the floor by our bedroom patio door.5. No grill tools. Despite having a grill, we were very disappointed to learn that there were no dedicated grill cooking tools... no spatula, tongs, fork, etc. There were cleaning tools and kebab skewers. We had to rig up a spatula using a large spoon and aluminum foil, and lost a few burgers to the coals.Everything else about our stay was fabulous. Great location, cute decor, nice bathrooms, kitchen, patio, etc.

Good Vibes, Good Times, Great House!

Plenty of parking space (Check) Comfortable beds (Check) Wonderful hot water for showers (Check) Lovely home inside and out (Check) This was a ladies trip for me and my fellow female corvette enthusiasts. We needed parking for all of the vettes and enough room to hang out inside. The ladies loved the house, the patio and porch, and the chocolate treats provided by the host. Upon arrival the prior guests (we were told some very young guests) smoked in the house so there was a heavy odor of smoke upon our arrival. We just left the doors open for a while and that took care of the smell and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The host responded quickly to our report of the smell and followed up to make sure things were ok later. We’d definitely book again!
