Checking in is the worst part of the experience. You go to a different location to get your keys, codes, etc. There's no restroom available after traveling for however many miles to arrive to begin with. There's a limit to one person per party in the tiny house where the check-in is. All of this is communicated to you ahead of time, but it is unexpectedly small. When I checked in there was a line to the door snaked around a tiny room nearly shoulder to shoulder with other travelers checking in. You get one roll of one ply toilet paper, one thin, cheap garbage bag, and a reusable shopping tote full of coupons for area attractions. If you pay the additional fee for linens to be provided, they're waiting for you in your unit in a bag in the living room so you can make your own bed after finally getting there and schlepping your week's with of belongings into the room. It's worth noting that parking appears limited at first arrival, but there are a small number of units in the building and we didn't actually have any trouble finding a spot through the week. And there were plenty of carts available. After all of that, the room we had was beautiful, clean, and had a knockout view. It was exactly as pictured. And we were easily able to communicate with Elliott directly as needed via text message.
