Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 1-67
THE ONLY VILLA IN HAMILTON COVE WITH AC!


This is a nautically themed two bedroom, 1 3/4 bath villa that offers great ocean views and plenty of sunlight from almost every room. Prepare a meal in the kitchen using the stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. Serve your food inside at the dining table, or at the raised table in the alcove next to panoramic windows. In the living room are a 50-inch flat panel LED TV, comfy couches, and a fireplace. Wander outside to the balcony and enjoy the patio furniture along with a nice breeze.

Both bedrooms contain new mattresses with memory foam tops. The bathrooms have enclosed showers, and the master also has a bathtub. French doors lead from the master bedroom to the balcony. Other features include wireless internet, a complimentary 6 passenger golf cart, a propane grill.
Worth every step! 114 steps from below the villa, but only 84 steps down from above the villa. 860 SQ FT. H167

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community's amenities: heated pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, 18 hole golf putting course, tennis courts, croquet and sand volleyball. Beach area has built in barbeques and picnic tables.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum June through October).

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Hamilton Cove amenities, including pool, spa, gym and tennis courts are currently closed and will re-open at the discretion of Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association for the health and safety of the community. All CIVR guests must comply with all applicable State of California, County of Los Angeles and City of Avalon laws, orders and protocols including the State of California COVID-19 Industry Guidance: Hotels, Lodging and Short Term Rentals.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the view from the living room and master bedroom is amazing! The unit is nicely decorated and is very clean. The only drawbacks were the tv in the guest room has no sound and the condo is on an upper level and therefore it has many flights of stairs to get to it which can be very difficult for people.

The room had not heater! It was very cold! No elevator! To our room, it was 110 steps of stair. We told our property manager saying no heater in the room and she didn't care! Very bad customer service! Horrible Horrible~~!!! Never going back.

Had an amazing time!

This was our family’s first little vacation with our new 5 month baby. We were very pleased with the property and check-in process! It was so seamless checking in and getting the keys to the unit and our complimentary golf cart. Access to the property via the guarded security gate was also very efficient. We felt safe and loved the views from the unit! The view of the ocean was unobstructed from the living room and the master bedroom. I was able to communicate with the property manager easily via text message and could reach them at all times. The private beach was just steps away and very clean. The only issue we had was the amount of stairs that you have to take to the unit (9 flights of steep stairs). This would have been fine if we didn’t have the baby but we opted to leave our stroller in the golf cart instead of bringing it up and down the stairs every day - so that helped. The unit was well stocked with everything you need including condiments and coffee. Highly recommend staying here! We had a blast!

We had a fantastic stay during the jazz festival. The unit was clean and very well furnished and supplied with everything we needed. Views were spectacular. If I were to make any suggestions, it would be to add a ceiling fan or small oscillating fan in 2nd BR as gets hot and no air circulation. Also, 1 blind in MB won’t close. Overall wonderful unit & great place.

Beautiful resort! The condo it’s self was disappointing. Dusty and full of cobwebs. Super dim lightbulbs in ever room. Mold in the pull out sofa bed mattress and the worst coffee maker I have ever used.

Hamilton Cove, Avalon is a gorgeous property, individual unit not so great!

Hamilton Cove condominium property over all is gorgeous. Feels like you are in some other land (Italy, France, Spain?) with stunning views of the ocean. We have rented here before, just not this individual unit. Sadly it was not as nice as expected. Upon opening the door for the first time we were greeted by a dead roach. We found ants everywhere and when they took over the trash area in the kitchen spilling out of the cupboard the first morning, we had to run to town for ant spray. The worst of it all was after spending the first night we found our grown son's shoes that were positioned next to the hide-a-bed had been chewed on all night by a rat or a mouse leaving big holes in the upper sole and ruining his new sandals (there went that $45.00!!!). I did call management (located in Palm Springs) and they said they would contact the Catalina office and have someone take care of it. A maintenance man showed up at 5:00 p.m. and since we had already sprayed for ants in the kitchen he said to let the main office know and they would refund the cost of the spray (no one offerred even that!). Another roach appeared the second day in the hallway and we continued to find ants everywhere. The couch with the hide-a-bed was in nice shape externally, but please don't rent advertizing- "sleeps six" when the hide-a- bed is in such sad shape you need to pull out of the closet a foam rubber pad to put over the mattress to make it somewhat habitable. Your advertizment should state: two queen size beds, a couch and that the property sleeps "four" comfortably. Also, there should be a warning to watch for mice/rats on the floor leaving nothing there overnight! Ok, all in all for the money, this place was way too expensive a stay for dealing with ants, roaches and mice/rats (there is the Hunta Virus you know). Please note, the place needs to be fumigated and for the price do get a new mattress for the hide-a-bed! Well, so much for our 55th wedding annversary trip! Now you know why a two star. Never again.

We enjoyed the setting very much. For the expensive rates paid, we expected to be able to use glassware and matching dishes for more than one sitting. Some of the silverware was not clean and there were only 2 small kitchen towels for a 4 day stay at the condo, with 5 people. The couple using the second bedroom, had the sliding closet door fall on one of them, when they were trying to the close it. We were disappointed that the mini blinds in the master bedroom could not be adjusted, because they were broken. We enjoyed going into town and using the golf cart for sightseeing and shopping. Hamilton Cove Heaven

We stayed here with another couple for a few days after a convention in Long Beach. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a relaxing place to have cocktail hour on the patio. Pool, hot tub, mini golf, croquet all close to this villa in building #1. Golf cart was helpful to get to town and explore Avalon. It's located in the middle of the building, 7 flights down, 9 flights up, but felt private on the corner. Great ocean breeze and waves lulled us to sleep. Would love to stay here again.

Great view from a comfortable condo.

Enjoyed our weekend. Condo was clean and comfortable. Included use of golf cart, which was great. Only warning...114 steps from bottom to condo. If you have knee issues, like I do, it's a little rough. If not, you will enjoy this place, and the little work out you will get.
