Spacious villa located just steps away from the ocean, with breathtaking ocean views in the Cove. This 941 sqft villa houses a master suite with a full bath, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. French doors open from the living room to a private balcony. Enjoy the breath taking ocean views from the balcony. Take a quick walk to the beach and feel that sand between your toes! Take advantage of the free wireless internet. Lay back on the over-sized sofa in the spacious living room, select one of 10,000 movies on hand from Netflix and indulge on the 40 inch Samsung LED TV

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants are subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

The property is a large 1 bedroom condo with plenty of room to spread out. Our kids slept on the pull out sofa in the living room, we had the king size bed in the bedroom. Kitchen is well-equipped, the grill on the patio looks brand new. Internet and WiFi were great, the amenities including pool, spa and exercise room were walking distance, but even closer when using the golf cart.

Wonderful Property

We had a great 10-night stay at this wonderful property. Beautiful views from the deck, especially in the morning as the sun rose. The property was a great size for the two of us. The unit was very clean, and the furniture was all very comfortable including the (california?) king size bed (not queen, as stated in the description). The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we cooked and ate in. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful during our lengthy stay. We enjoyed the amenities provided by the Hamilton Cove Homeowner's Association, especially the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Having the golf cart to get back and forth to town was also a big plus. Our host, Lamont, and his staff were excellent. We always had a quick response to any questions we had or any concerns. Lamont was very social and pleasant when we encountered him in town on a few occasions. Thanks, Lamont, for your wonderful hospitality! We would definitely stay at this property again!

NICE VIEW CONDO WITH DIFFICULT CHECK-IN

The Hamilton Cove condo is comfortable with a nice view. The check-in procedure was difficult because Lamont did not provide our names to security so we were prevented access. We had to call Lamont and hand the phone to security in order to enter. The paperwork sent one week before had incorrect information and dates. The golf cart paperwork had incorrect info as well. Location of the golf cart was unclear. The front door lock is broken. The living room TV had no sound. The bedroom TV had few channels but sound. There was an ironing board but no iron. The directions to operate the shower to get hot water were unclear. There were ants in the kitchen. I have stayed in many Home Away homes in the past 5 years. This was my worst experience.

Run down property, needs TLC.

In our 11 day stay, had one HOT shower, went to club house for showering. Catalina is in a sever water shortage. Property Manager said let it run, what a waste of water .Property Manager was helpful to get us a headlight for the golf cart. Gas for the cart was 6.68 per gallon. Bath and kitchen fixtures leak and rusted, water all over the counters. Carbon Monoxide and Fire detectors needed attention, chirped constantly. Replaced battery in fire detector, Cleaned Carbon Monpxode detector and took it outside for fresh air and to recycle. We departed a day early due to forcasted weather. We cleaned with vinegar and baking soda, walls, light fixturers, dishwasher, stove top, Refrigerator, bathrooms(removed hard water stains and mold), shower is still very bad with mold and hardwater. It was a plus to have washer and dryer, which were also so old, rusted and very dirty. Had problem with internet, NO Cell Service in unit, we went outside or to town for cell service. Only one pot, NO small fry pan, NO baking sheet. Please update this property.

Sunrise on the Pacific

love love love Hamilton cove... our villa was nice ,comfortable,charming with beautiful views. We barbqued on the veranda, sipped wine, enjoyed the ocean breezes and each others company. The golf cart was really convenient, and after 3 days we somehow only used a gallon and a half of gasoline. We had a great time at beaches, and enjoyed our time in avalon. We shopped at the local Vons for food ,the kitchen had all we needed. I prefer the vibe and charm here ,over staying in Santa Monica, Balboa or other Southern California beach towns...worth it! aaaand you get the novelty of sunrises , as opposed to sunsets over the ocean

Hamilton Cove Condo

We enjoyed our stay but there were a few things we were disappointed in such as: the tires on the golf cart were bare and the steering was very difficult. In the condo the sponge for doing dishes was used and dirty. The hand soap was diluted. The toaster was broken and the light bulbs were dull and not bright enough to read by. There were some lightbulbs that were burnt out that need to be replaced. Otherwise we had a relaxing time enjoying the view.

I didn’t want to leave…

I didn’t want to leave… Everything was absolutely amazing. Had a great time on the island, restaurants and bars were fully operational. The condo was gorgeous with a breathtaking view. There was an issue with ants which was a little overwhelming, but no fault of The condo owner or building itself. The ferry availability was limited, had to take an early boat out to the island. No flexibility with early check-in. That was a bummer but didn’t ruin my weekend.

The views from every window never got boring and were mostly private. The condo was pretty, comfortable and well equipped. Some walls need cleaning and base boards are dirty. The bathroom needs updating. Tub stopper doesn’t work, shower hot water takes longer to get hot than your actual shower. The golf cart is in poor condition-bald tires and back fires- but still got us around town, don’t think it would have made it uphill with anymore than 2 adults. Pool was advertised- false! Due to Covid only owners and long term renters allowed- despite no one ever seen in it. We were run out by property management. Would not have rented if we had known this. For the price, would have expected better and accurate communication from the owner. We will come back but not to this unit.

Relaxing escape to a coastal villa

We rented this for a girls getaway weekend and felt like we were in another country enjoying coastal views, swimming in the private beach, eating our meals on the deck and watching sailboats, snorkeling, going out parasailing. It was fun driving around the island in the golf cart which was included. We would highly recommend staying here to our family and friends and plan to come back!

Heaven on Earth

View was breathtaking, especially sunrise..and it alone made the unit perfect but also... Everything we needed in a kitchen was available Bed was very comfortable Tastefully furnished/designed Lots of stairs, so good exercise in and out

Hamilton Cove Condo

Beautiful property, pretty much met most our expectations, golf cart and most amenities were in good condition. Need to be stocked with some quality eating utensils, cups, glasses & plates. TV/Video/sound system is dated and essentially non-functional. Patio table & chairs need repair. Incredibly beautiful views and very quiet. We loved the stay!
