This two bedroom, two bath end villa comes with incredible ocean views and is just steps from the beach. It's a great location because the pool, Jacuzzi and gym are the next building over. Color TV/DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, ocean front balcony, FREE wireless internet, 6-passenger golf cart and the little extras make this unit comfortable and accommodating. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed and a wonderful view of the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and there is a queen aerobed in the living room. No smoking, please, and this is a "no shoe" home. 54 steps from golf cart parking space up to villa. For ease in unloading luggage or groceries, only 42 steps down from road above (Stairway near H897).1030 sq. feet. H887 | | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). ----- This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups. NO smoking, NO parties/events. NO pets allowed per HOA rules. You must be 25+ years old to rent this property. No daytime visitors allowed. There were ants everywhere in the condo, including the bed. We slept with ants crawling on us all 3 nights we stayed. The property management came and sprayed but it didn't help.The view was AMAZING!

Beautiful location and view. Loved the use of the golf cart. Very responsive with their comms and responding to questions while we were onsite. Very 80s decor and interior - could use a refresh. We had trouble with ants (a lot of them) in the apartment and also some of the ceiling fans and bathroom outlets didn’t work. Could use a good remodel/maintenance once over.

Very spacious condo with breathtaking ocean view! We stayed for 3 days and were very pleased with the location and amenities. Be prepared for lots of steps!

This place has a lot of potential to be an amazing vacation rental; however, the owner & property manager need to do some investments.- The furniture is very old & dirty, we had to use towels to sit on couches.- The glass table top was not connected to the base, unsafe and wobbly. We were told to push it to the corner and do not use. - Appliances are very old, e.g., coffee maker had mold, not usable. Microwave's handle was glued.- It was our first time on the island, the listing showed the location downtown Avalon, whereas the property is located in Hamilton Cove, 2 miles away. There is a 6-seat golf cart which is nice, however, the listing was not transparent.- There was also an issue with ants.- The view is amazing, balcony is large, 2 bed, 2 bath, could be great for a family stay. Be mindful of chairs & high tables in the balcony, need to supervise kids.

Great Family Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great, the access was easy, and ample room for our family of 6. The unit was well equipped, although we let the property manager know that the toaster was broken, to which they responded immediately that they would bring a replacement, but they never did. The unit has a beautiful deck view, and the golf cart was a nice bonus. Overall the unit was a great rental, although the space is in need of upgrades and a remodel, as it is well worn.

Great mini vaca

It's very picturesque! Great place for breath taking photos. Very close to the pool. Lots of utensils and plates for a comfortable stay. We didn’t mind the stairs for exercising. Everything you need is here. There was an ironing board but no iron though. There were hair styling tools for the ladies which we did not use, but it was nice to have options! Will definitely book again.

Needs major updates

Beautiful location overlooking the water. However, the condo could use some major updates!! NOT worth the price asking! The coffee pot still had coffee grounds and mold in it. All dishes we used had to be washed first. Kitchen cabinets were dirty and disorganized. Cabinets and doors are falling off or won’t open or stay closed. Bathrooms needed to be wiped down before using. Blinds torn, furniture old, comforter smelled like it wasn’t washed. Don’t stay in this condo and pay the ridiculous price. Beautiful area so choose another condo that owners take more pride in.

Nice and clean condo

The property suit our needs. The golf cart was a necessity and the kids loved it. Everything was clean and well kept as was advertised. We like the no shoes policy. The complex is nice. We didn’t get a chance to use some of the amenities, except the pool. The only issue was the stove. Only one burner worked and it didn’t work well at times. The stove is very old and likely should be replaced. We didn’t call for maintenance because we were there for a short time and didn’t want to have to spend time dealing with having it fixed. Even with that issue, we would recommend it and rent it again.

Wonderful Stay in Hamilton Cove on Catalina!

Stayed here with my family Thursday-Sunday over Spring Break 2018. Wonderfully furnished, very warm bright open condo in Hamilton Cove on Catalina just outside of Avalon. The Condo was very clean, and comfortable. All linens and towels were clean. Condo was fully furnished and even had extra floor bedding for the little ones. Kitchen was fully outfitted with all utensils for mealtimes. BBQ worked great and propane was even full. The golf cart was a must as this Condo is approx. 1 1/2 miles out of Avalon once you pick up the keys in town. Cart ran like a dream and seated 6 like it says. Back seats of the cart fold out for luggage hauling. The Condo was equipped with all sports gear to be used in Hamilton Cove. Tennis rackets, golf putters, pool toys, balls were all there. 3 full size beds with the sofa pull out, and 2 floor beds. This condo could technically sleep 8, although we did not violate the 6 person policy. The pool was heated early, and the hot tub was amazing after a days walking, hiking, and scuba diving. We had a fantastic time. This is a wonderful comfy condo with a fantastic view. A few things to keep in mind. There are a lot of stairs. So if you cannot do stairs steer clear. The balcony is wonderful, but it is a shared balcony, so technically people could walk right by your back door anytime. The neighbors really try to respect each other space though. The location is actually 1.5 miles out of Avalon in Hamilton Cove. The map feature shows it right in Avalon, but it is not. You will have to walk or take a taxi to the property the first day of stay and the last to get there and back. The Cart must be returned full. So be ready to drive the 2 miles to the gas station and back the last night or last day of your stay to fill up the cart as there is only 1 gas station on the island. Regardless of these things it was a fantastic place to stay. We will be back for sure. Thanks.

Beautiful place, beautiful views and great to have a golf cart to use.

Check out was a bit early 10am and you have to bring the keys back into town, ants were a bit of a problem in the kitchen area. Views were very nice and the place was clean! A lot of stairs to attend to and no elevator so be prepared! Overall, we would stay again!!

absolutely fantastic

stairs were a little difficult but great exercise. Lots of tiny black ants in kitchen and bathrooms. Probably need to fumigate. The deck was fabulous and the view was incredible. Felt very at home and comfortable. We hope to return in the near future and stay again in your beautiful condo. My girls could not have had a better time. Thank you so much

Nice property, nice location.

We loved the location of the property but if you have someone in your party that struggles with stairs then please reconsider, no good way to get to the unit for a person who is not mobile. Nice golf cart and deck.
